Great club! The 17* makes it a little easier to use the club without much loss of distance. Nice little head feels great and the balls just jum of the face.

I've had both the 980f 15 and 19 degree fairways with S300s for over 2 years now I can't see at this time that I would ever need to change them. I'm an 11 handicapper and I've found the best way to hit them of the deck is just to keep it slow and low back and smooth through the ball - the ball invariably just flies off the face with an awesome feel and the flight is amazing. With the 19* I can send it in to greens nice and soft from around 210-215 yards (no wind). I even use it on one of our par 3s which is 192 yards by hitting a high cut with it - it is just so workable. I have used the 15* time and again off the tee when having a bad day with the big dog, although now I have my 905R with NVs bad big dog days are thankfully quite far between. In fact, it was because I loved the feel of the Titleist fairways so much that I even considered getting a Titleist driver in the first place. Really great clubs, I defy anyone not to love them!! The first thing i have to say is, great looks and the performance was even better. The model i am using has a steel shaft ( i think they provide more control than graphite). This club is great for long par threes for me and shots off the fairway are massive. Iam only 13 and i hit this club 215 yards. A great buy! Similar Products Used: Titleist pt 20 degrees |

Titlest 980 F 21.0
I bought the Titlest 980F 21 degree with the 4375 stiff flex new after hitting a friends about 250 off the ground. I was very impressed that after a week of hitting mine I could work a draw every time it is a pretty easy club to work. I would reccomend this club for good players not beginners. My club head swing is about 125 - 135 and this is the perfect 7 wood. Customer Service Cajun Made Similar Products Used: Callawy Fusion |

This is one hell of a 7-wood. Brought it used for $60.00 with analdila one shaft in it. All I can say is that this club is very very long. I hit this club 245 yards to the center of the green all carry. Didn't think I can hit a seven wood that far. However, since that day thst's been the club of choice between 230-250. If your looking for a great 7-wood dont pass this one up. Plus you can get them dirt cheap of Ebay. |

I love these clubs. I bought them at Golf Galaxy for 50 bucks a piece. i play two rounds with them so far and i would hit the three wood off the tee because the big stick wasn't working. On a 334 yard par 4 dogleg left i play a high draw over the trees and put myself less then 100 yards to the green. It is so easy to work the ball with this club. I can pick a spot in the fairway and nail it. Out of the fairway i couldn't be more pleased. From 200+ yards i could put the ball on the green easily. If you come across one these i recomend that you try it. im only 14 with a 17 handicap but i can work it like a pro. |

I'm only 15 from the cold and wet SW of Wales but a fairly strong hitter. I bought this club a while ago and every time I hit it I surprise myself even more. Briliant penetration from the tee and it seems to climb and climb. Excellent for a tight little draw for accuracy or playing a high fade to hold a firm fairway when the driver isn't needed off the tee. It's remarkable how a struggling 15yr old, 16 handicapper can shape it either way, keep it high or low but this club allows me to perform such magic Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Cruddy old 3wood. In the past I have used Adams fairway woods. Still like them but wanted to try out some new technology. Bought the highly rated R580 fairway wood. Had glowing reviews. I hated it. It was way to closed, couldn't deal with the size of the head. Tried a buddies titleist 980 and was sold instantly. Felt better than the adams I use to use. Just as good from the rough. Hit it much longer though. It has become my favorite club to hit. It is hard to describe the feel of the club, let me just say it is the best I have felt. I feel confident at address with this club. Don't let the size fool you. It isn't hard to hit. Customer Service haven't used Similar Products Used: Adams ST, Taylormade r580, V-steel, r5 |

I REALY love this club(so does everyone who I've let hit it)! It does have a relatively small head--so it would not be a good choice for a hacker. However the compact head is what you want for minimal turf drag/grab when faced with a shot out of the rough. I chose the "strong" version because the taller face reduces the chances of hitting pop up shots that occur frequently with the really shallow faced fairway woods. Solid and hot would be the best way to describe the feel of the club as it strikes the ball. Just pure nirvana! I really like the Pro-lite shaft also--not too heavy or too light, and seems to accomodate a wide range of swing speeds real well. Did'nt think I'd find a fairway wood I'd like better than my Steelhead Plus--but yeah, this is a better club. Though no longer in production, if you happen upon a used one in good condition, give it a try--you won't be disappointed.
