i first demoed a 15 degree vsteel with stock reg graphite shaft. and my first impressions was that it was really easy to hit off the deck. and it was also pretty long. i used to love my old taylormade bubble 3wd, and this vsteel makes me feel the same way now. the size of the head looks good and it sets up square to the ball. Customer Service never used it Similar Products Used: tm bubble, mizuno blue rage, orlimar |

My form is still inconsistent, so I'll occasionally slice one to the right, but most of them time I can smoke the ball straight at the target and about 220-230 yds. Unlike the previous reviewer, I can hit the same distance off of a tee as I can trampled grass at the range, although the tee helps the ball get more airborne. The club looks great at address, and that steelhead "clink" is a real head-turner. I am a bit disappointed at how easily the paint chips at the top of the face, but with the chips and the big rock scar mine has on the sole it's less likely to be stolen! :-) Performance is unaffected. I average my driver 250 meters and I can consistantly equal that with the 3 wood, with better trajectory and accuracy. Very easy to control fade and draw compared to other top clubs. Got at good price off Ebay too. Customer Service Haven't needed yet. Similar Products Used: Callaway, Cleveland, Nike |

Taylor Made V Steel (tour spoon and 4 wood)
When reading through the reviews that have been posted by others, I have noticed numerous accounts regarding the paint. Let it be said that; "anyone who skies a ball and does not expect to pay the price for it is dreaming". I use both the Tour Spoon and 4 wood in stiff flex (stock shaft). Are they longer than the competition? Not particularly. All your big names, be they Cleveland, Callaway, Ping and the like offer length and forgiveness. Sometimes there is such a thing as too much forgiveness, or rather the wrong kind of forgiveness. For a player such as myself who draws the ball, any weight in the heel (draw bias) or a closed face is not necessarily desired. These woods are very slightly closed but I have not felt any draw bias in the heel. The proof being that I am not finding myself left of targets. In contrast, the Callaway Steelhead III which to me is the best "sounding" fairway metal in the business, would have me so far left due to significant draw bias. All in all the V Steel is a solid club. Similar Products Used: all of them |

Solid feel, easy to work and i got it from a freind for only $100. one of the first things i look for in a fairway wood is the shape of the face. in all mt search i only found two - the v-steel and the titliest pt. the taylormade out preformed the pt in about every way i could think of (exept fading the ball, i have a problem trying to not turn the face over, i have the same problem with my 2 iron) so it was easy to make the decision. I recieved this club as a gift and in all honesty it took me a few rounds to warm up to it. I had real trouble hitting it well at first, but now that I have found my rythme with the club I love it. Like everyone else says the ball will fly a mile with this club, and unlike some others I do find it forgiving. I am definitely hitting more fairways with this club them my previous 3 wood. All in all I think this is a great club and I plan on upgrading my 5 wood to a V Steel as well. |

Saw this at a sale USD150, 3 wood 15º, ultralite shaft, regular. At first I thought I could not hit this club. But after a while started to fell in love with it and didn't waste time to purchase it. This club really teach me on how to square the face with an easy swing, and bombs it as far as 260 yards with great accuracy, now I'm hitting much solid on other clubs as well. I'm getting the 5 wood in the coming months. You won't be dissapointed, however I feel it's still suit the better players. |

first off, i would like to say that complaining about a factory grip is rediculous, grips are all a personal prefrence anyways. about this club not being very forgiving, i disagree 100%. i can miss hit this club off the toe or heel and it still gets up in the air and goes a mile. i did get a new shaft on my fairway wood however, not because i didnt like the other but just because my brother works at a golf course and does it for me free. the paint chipping complaints are only from people that tee the ball up to high and do not have very good planes on there golf swing. the club is not meant for hitting on the top of for crying out loud. so in conclusion this is a great club that will really get the job done, long and FORGIVING. V Steel 3 wood 15*
This V Steel 3 wood is really long off the tee as I have improved at least 20 yards. Its deep face also help me to hit great straight shot from tight lie on the fairway and the ball-flight is relatively high compare to my Cleveland Ti Fairway wood. Ball often land softly and it is great asset to attempt long par 5 in 2. Customer Service No. Similar Products Used: Cleveland Ti 3 wood, Cobra SZ 3 wood, Mizuno Blue Rage. |

I have never hit a 5 wood where the ball jumps off the face so quickly and well. I am not a great golfer (mid 80's on public courses) and usually have a pretty decent slice. However, with this club I was able to get in the air quickly and out of some pretty rough stuff and still make it carry a good distance with little or no slice at all. I just got it a week ago and right now am loving it!! I highly reccomend it for golfers who need something they can hit on a short par 4 or out of the rough after a bad drive!
