What IS it about this club? Being a left-handed golfer I have a hard time being able to hit new equipment. Golf stores don't make much of an effort to get left-handed demos and it's not often I run into a lefty at the range.
For three years I've been lugging around a Ti Bubble II driver (I love the three wood) but couldn't hit the driver to save my life. After hearing of TM's one month trial offer I traded in my Bubble II driver for the Super Steel driver. I was in love after the first two balls on the range. This club has a great feel. I have great sense of where contact is made and a great sense of where the club head is at in the swing. Deadly straight with a nice ball flight. (and a pretty cool sound as well) This 10 degree driver carries just a bit longer than my Bubble II three wood but with a lower flight for a much better roll. I'll keep the three wood for 'getting over stuff' but it's going to see a lot less action! Without question, this club wants to go straight. Nice price as well. Great job TM!

I'll start off with the driver. I love this club. Its much easier to keep in the fairway and it hits almost as long as Ping and Titleist drivers. I found it longer than Taylor Made's previuos two drives the Firesole and the Ti Bubble II, both of these cost more than the supersteel. Overall I really like the driver.
After using a driver this great I expected a lot from the three wood. Well, I wasn't at all disappointed. Its eay to get up in the air, long, and on really tight fairway great to used off the tee.
So, to sum it up I love these two clubs and they won't ever leave my bag. I'm looking forward to try the 5 wood.

I have always stuck with Taylor and this is their best product yet. Before I tested it I was a little worried about the distance because its steel. Well I found that not to be a problem. Believe it or not I can hit this farther than my firesole and its much much much much easier to control. In all honesty I played 36 holes the two days after I bought it and I missed only 1 fairway while using it. WOW. A GREAT CLUB.

I am a better golfer. I used a 975d before this club. I was looking for distance with some forgiveness and workability. WOW. THis is the PERFECT club. I didn't even lose that much distance off of the Titleist. Its soo much easier to keep in the fairway. I had heard that this club was great and it is. I beg you, at least give it a try.

I really like the forgiveness that this club gives you. You won't lose much distance from big titamium drivers, but you'll gain accuracy. I own the driver and it will never leave my bag. I encourage anyone to at least give it a try.

7 handicap who has struggled finding fairway woods that suit my game (strength rather than style). Have tried numerous alternatives, including Pings, Orlimar, BB and GBB (most models), and the Titliest 975 F (horrible!!!).

I have played two rounds with the S-90 Supersteel 5 wood and to date seems like a very forgiving club. Can be a little tricky from tight lies. However, very easy to hit from a tee. Worth a look if in market for fairway woods.

I don't get too excited about a golf club anymore, because most of the hype never lives up to the real thing. But I have to say, after trying tons of other 3-woods, this is the best of the lot. The ball really explodes off the face and gets in the air easily. Today, on a par-5, 490-yard dogleg right, with water lining the entire left side of the hole, I cut the corner by launching one over the trees on my tee shot and landed it in the middle of the fairway, about 20 yards from the water. About 225 out, with a mist in my face and the wind blowing, I used the same club and said what the hell, let's give it a go. Over the water, took two bounces and landed 35 feet from the cup. Two-putted for bird. The entire day, this club saved me. The ball tends to stay on line more than any other 3-wood I've tried. I can't say enough about its power and accuracy. Demo'd the driver and hated it, but this thing is excellent.

I went out to by a Callaway Steelhead Plus and came away with Supersteel. I loved the driver so much, I bought the 3 wood, too. The sound and feel when you hit it is unbelievable. Not only that, they're really inexpensive. If you want to hit the best drives of your life I'd definitely recommend Supersteel!
