Taylor Made 200 2 Wood
I'd been striking my Steelhead Plus 3-wood exceptionally well, but never could hit the driver. I thought a 2 wood may be a better option. Callaway doesn't make 'The Duece' in a Steelhead Plus model, so I went with the Taylor Made 200 2 Wood. TM makes my favorite club, the Rescue Club and the TM 200 has received rave reviews. I opted for the R-90 steel shaft. I perfer steel over graphite in my woods (the extra weight keeps me from overswinging) and have an R-90 on my Rescue Club. Unfortunately I haven't been able to make peace with the TM 2-wood after 3 trips to the range. I've always hit the ball right to left. When I'm playing well, it's a nice draw, when I swing poorly it's a pull or a snap hook. For whatever reason I couldn't do anything with this club but hit a big old slice. Whenever I'm swinging poorly, I can always always take an 80% and hit every single club in my bag dead straight at about 80% of the regular distance. Even with this drill the TM would slice. I started jacking around with my swing trying to close the clubface before I realized what that would do to my other clubs. Fortunately the Steelhead Plus is still going straight. Lesson learned. I think this is a good club (judging from the other comments), it just didn't work for me. Similar Products Used: Steelhead Plus, Original Steelhead, Ping I-3 |

Taylor Made 200s
I purchased the Taylor Made 200 Steel 3 Wood and 5 Wood to go along with a new set of Taylor Made 200 Irons. When they are well hit, the ball literally explodes off of the face of these two clubs with a very satisfying "thwack!!" Distrance is great. Off the tee, the 3 wood can roll out to 285 yds, and the 5 wood to about 260. They both play very well off of the fairway, and 5 wood is sweet out of the rough. They are also accurate. Since I started teeing off with them on par 4s, my percentage of fairways hit has gone up from 39% to 60%. They are great looking clubs, too! Customer Service Haven't had any need to use them. |

TM 200 rifle R80
I was at a local driving range after a round just trying to work on a few things when a friend I golf with once a blue moon came by. He started talking about his new TM 200 2 wood rifle shafted club that is a joy to hit. He had asked me if I wanted to hit a few balls with it but seeing it was steel shafted S90, I told him that I can't even get the distance or consistency on a 3 wood. He kept talking about while hitting balls with his (joy to hit club). I must admit, I swing like a girl compared to his swing. Finally I decided to try his club. As it turned out, I was hitting straight rocket shots, I couldn't believe it! The club is the best 3 wood that I ever played with. I usually hit a 5 wood as far as a 3 wood until this club came along. I hit this club almost as far as a driver! Great feel off the face of the club. I'm not a steel shafted guy either but the rifle shaft works great. Fades are very easy, draws for me are easier than what I used to be. Was about 240 away from the flag after my first hit on a par 5, hit a draw just a bit fat but got it there at 220, pitched it on and made birdle. A must have club for anyone looking for a 3 wood. And for the price, its a steel! got it!? Customer Service Never needed it Similar Products Used: Mizuno, Adams, Top Flite, Nickent, Wilson |

TM 200 3 wood
New I'd like it after the first hit. As long as I don't overswing (draw to hook) I am very straight. I wanted a club that had the same shaft as my irons (LCGs) and the reviews here convinced me to give it a try. I am very happy I did. Nice Club. I wasn't in the market for a driver, but... Customer Service I sent in a club for a new shaft (I had no choice if I wanted the stock shaft as TM uses proprietary tip sizes). I was angry I HAD TO send it in to them, but they gave me a new club instead of fixing Similar Products Used: Adams TL2, BBertha, TM Bubble |

TM 200: #3, #5
A must-buy for new-to-the-game, moderate swing speed, mid to low swing angle, high handicap golfers such as me. I started the game 14 months ago armed with a generic-hand-me-down set and a patient golf instructor. Never shot better than 120! Now armed with basic mechanics it was time to improve my equipment. Instructor and I went to numerous demos and the choice boiled down to Steelhead III's and TM's. A close call but the TM's with S-90 graphite, I found, proved easier for me to handle. Shots are straight and true, feel solid, and am hitting @ 250yds with the #3 and @ 220yds with the #5. Shot 118, 112, and 114 respectively after adding these clubs to the bag. Next stop: a Driver and a set of Irons Customer Service n/a Similar Products Used: tried, Steelhead III's (good), Cobra SS's (hard time sweeping the ball), Mizuno's (couldn't hit the sweet spot consistantly), Orlimar's (forget it) |

This is the best fairway wood ever that i have hit. It goes far and feels soft. The trajectory is perfect and this club always manages to go far and high enough for me. |

TM 200 Steel 3 wood
This is a very solid club. Quite forgiving. Better than average distance. Extremely consistent. Workable, but not overly so (which is good for me). I have the Rifle S90 steel shaft and I don't think I'll ever play graphite on fairway woods again. I had a Cleveland Quadpro which was great but harder to be consistent with and less forgiving. Some of the bad reviews on this club I consider off base- pros play it for a reason and it is truley the best fairway wood I've hit.
