TM 200 3-wood, S-90 shaft
I'm still new to the sport, so hitting a 3 wood off the fairway is a little intimidating. But that wasn't a problem with this Taylor Made 200. I have a wicked slice (getting better) and this club is letting me off easy. It's giving me straigter shots both off the grass and tee. I'm a big fan of TM. Bought a 360 driver two months ago, and it won't leave my bag anytime soon. This 3-wood is well worth the price. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants a good fairway wood, or something to use off the tee when the driver's not up to par. Customer Service Very polite and helpful. TM 200 3 Wood Rifle S-90
Confidence in a Fairway Wood has always been a problem for me. Strangely I'd rather hit long irons, but I found that I desperately needed a reliable 3 Wood. I've tried a few different makes and models with different shafts recently. I choose the TM 200 and I've never been more confident in any club than I am with this. The Weight, Balance, Feel and Set Up of this club inspires confidence even before swinging (which is half the battle!) Throughout the swing the shaft feels as though it is perfectly matched to the head, resulting in longer and straighter shots. This club won't fix a bad swing, but it will certainly reward good ones, and inspire more of them. If your in the market for a fairway wood give it a try it should be on most peoples short list. Taylormade 200 5 wood
I'm a very low ball hitter so I bought the TM 200 5 wood @ 18* to get more hight. Mission accomplished. This club is longer than my old standby '80s TM Burner 3 wood and easier to hit. Allowed me to hit higher, softer shots and eliminate the 3 wood from my bag in lieu of gap wedge which I use more often. My TM has the S-90 Lite graphite shaft. Since I tend to hit a strong draw/hook, I'm probably going to re-shaft it with Aldila or Graphalloy for more control. But I love the small sqare head and shallow face. I've tried all the top fairway wood brands and nothing else comes close for me. Easy to see why the Pros love this club. Wonderful club!! This club is awesome I will give you a tip to getting a great 3 and a 5 in one club I took the head of a 200 5 which is around 10 cc's larger than the three and four wooh and only 2 degrees higher in loft (around 6 feet higher in ball flight ) and I put a proforce fw shaft with a 350 tip I swing a stiff flex but anyway I kept it at the origional length of 44 inches and in order to hit a long drive of long fairway shot I use full grip due to slightly higher loft and larger head than 3 or 4 it is easier and for me alot longer and to hit a normal 5 wood shot I choke up about three inches and still a perfect shot with this setup (I've tried them all) I can not only hit it strait and very long but I can work the ball with ease this is a great clob at a wonderful price I spent around 230 for this setup and I can now have one more wedge Free advice give this a try it really works Customer Service none Similar Products Used: none that I have found that works like this does |

This is a great club. Replaced my Ping i3 with the TM. Very long club - only lose about 20 yards compared to my 975D...long, straight, forgiving, perfect. Customer Service ? Similar Products Used: everything...really. |

Very good clubs overall, had them replace my aging Callaway Warbird equivalents with better results from the fairway (straighter and consistant distance) but slightly worse from the rough compared to the old weapons. ?xD;?xA;?xD;?xA;Overall, a good tradeoff since I should be in the fairway anyway and very good value as well! ?xD;?xA;?xD;?xA;Nice job Taylor Made! TM-200 w/ S-90 Rifle
Season's done up North so my 2cents. Bought the driver & 3-wood in May. Used all season. Good clubs for money. Hits straight/slight draw. Toe hits are going hard right though. Fairways are rarely a problem but in the rough, it depends how tall and thick the shag is. If in deep, the club head dives under the ball = no control and poor distance. I would always check what my playing partners would have in my bag and try out a wood if I could. Tight Lies and Deep Red are not consistent with me, Steelheads are always slicing. Right now my only regret is not getting the 4 or 5 instead. My club budget was blown for a year or two (replaced EVERYTHING this spring) and I have reduced opportunity to use this club compared to past years. The TM200 driver is giving me straighter longer hits(~250yds) and the 3 wood is getting me around 225. Not that many long 4's or short 5's around here. Overall great value, quality is only OK. Shaft is great but I have 2 UGLY gouges on the sole already. I would think the sole should have been a harder alloy but c'est la vie. Glad I spent the money. Taylor Made 200 Series
I've found that the 200 series is an accurate wood with distance. The clubhead may be smaller than high handicappers prefer but still larger than the ping i3. My upgraded Adilda stiff graphite shaft also makes a ton of difference if you are looking for control. This club is best for mid to long hitters who are most concerned with control. I can regularly put one at least 250 yards off the tee, sometimes over 300. I suggest a stiff graphite shaft for more control. Give it a try, one of the best woods out there, value wise and otherwise. Similar Products Used: Ping i3,Wilson Ultra |
