Had lots of trouble with fairway woods off the deck last few months. Just picked this one up at garage sale $5.00, near perfect condition. Half a bucket of balls at the range, tee and ground, not one duff. Awesome. Quite easy to work the ball left and right, up to 160 metre carry is good for me, that makes 200 metres with run on hard fairway. Very happy. I am a new golfer and wanted to upgrade my old knock off woods. I never used them as they were hard to control. This set was used on ebay for next to nothing and since they matched my driver I gave them a shot.

I bought this club (5 wood/stiff Olimar Shaft) in excellent condition used from Golf Galaxy for $45 with the cartridges ,bag, and everything else. This is THE best wood out and in my analysis is very similar in top and bottom profile to the Jesse's new Bobby Jones woods that have been voted the best out.
Customer Service I called them once to see if there was an instruction manual for the club (it had the little information tags on it) and they told me that they were sold out and that the tags were all that came with the club.

Don’t use a 3 wood much. I had a Mizuno T-Zoid that I never hit well. I read the reviews on this club and decided to try. The price of $49.99 from TGW was low enough for me to give it a try. I hit it much longer and higher that the Mizuno. It has a small head and sets up nicely. Good club. The price makes it a great bargain. Customer Service Haven't used |

I purchased the orlimars thru a set and discarded the irons but kept the woods frankly these are some hot clubs! I have noticed an additional 10 to 20 yards immediately! I did not read any reviews before I purchased them I have interchanged the wieghts and noticed some difference howevever you must hit the ball at a steeper angle of contact as opposed to a flatter swing where you might not see a difference. In any event I carded my first hole in one with the vt 830 3 wood into a 20 mph wind on a 187 yard par 3 so I be keeping the club permantly. I currently play once a week on average generally in the 80's Customer Service none that I'm aware of Similar Products Used: none |

After searching for a dependable "go to" 3-wood for the past 5 years and, trying probably 10 various models, I have finally found a solid and very long fairway wood. I have been able to work the ball, but for the most part just enjoy being able to hit it straight. I haven't used the weight for high-ball flight because I like the trajectory of the low-flight weight. This is a sw-e-e-e-t club! Also, I picked it up on eBay for under $50!! I can only say that if you haven't got these yet you'd better hurry before there all gone. I've never had a problem hitting fairway woods but these go dead straight every time I hit them. I've never had a fairway wood that I could just aim and shoot like with these. I do think they launch the ball a bit high no matter which weight you have in them but for someone who has trouble getting the ball up these would be a real helper. Distance is about the same as any other fairway wood I've hit so no positives or negative there but dead straight, it's hard to beat that. These will be in my bag for along time to come. You can get these at RockBottomGolf.Com for $49.95 each and there is nothing out there that even comes close to the performance of these for this price. If you want to spend more money for a good quality bigger name club that's your business but don't expect to find anything much better than these and you can get about 3 or 4 of these for the price of similar performing fairway woods. Leave your ego at home and take these cheap clubs out and I'm sure you won't be disappointed. As for the sound that everyone keeps talking about it's most noticed in the 5 wood not so much in the 3 wood but it's not as bad as the cobra SZ series woods.
