I've always had a degree of difficulty hitting a fairway wood, (because of that I would rely solely on my long irons), but not this club. I can hit it straight and reasonably long off the deck (230 yds). I using an Aldila NVS 65-S shaft (sweet). Orlimar makes a very good product in their woods. Try it, and I'll see you in the short grass.

As with the HTi440 driver I purchased in the set, the shafts were way too long for me. I tried them out at the range anyway and was very inconsistent. I'm a short guy, only 5'9" with my golf shoes on, so I took the grips off and cut down the shafts (EEK!!!) about an inch and regripped with similar Golf Pride Grips. Went back to the range and got all my accuracy back. The sound made on contact is very similar to my old Tri-Metal driver and fairway woods, so it doesn't bother me too much. The High and Low launch cartridges really work...but it is a very subtle change. I think some reviewers were expecting a dramatic 5 degree change or something crazy like that. I ended up reshafting the clubs with some Rifle Pures (which are on Golfsmtih.com for only $16 and already Pre-Pured) and now I've got a couple of really nice hitting clubs. I'm gonna swap out the shafts with some Fujikura Tour Platform 26.3 and see what happens from there.

I contacted Orlimar to find out more specs on the shaft like the torque ratings and tip diameter. They gave me the tip diameter, but informed me that everything else was proprietary. Oh well, I thought their shafts were crap anyway.

Awesome club for the price. Get these now while the buzz isn't out there yet! I got a 3 and 5 Wood, regular flex shaft. Easy to hit and launch without any difficulty.
Ignore the negative feedback regarding the sound on contact. A bit exaggerated. If you hit it good, it's as satisfying as a Cobra SZ or Big Bertha, which I own both.
So go get them now!

I got so impressed about the hybrid H830, that I decided to try the VT 830 3-wood. By the way, I bought it for US$ 49,99 at Edwin Watts. I just could say that there is no better deal than this on the golf market. The club is solid at impact, and very well balanced. Very forgiving, miss hits flies straight and long and center cut shots are like a missile. Very easy to work on both directions. Off the deck you just need to tee the ball very low and let it rip. Off the fairway is one of the easiest club to get the ball airborne. For me is one of the best option for tight driving holes and reachable par 5's. With such a low price, there is no way to go wrong with this club. Highly recommended.

This is a great club. Off the tee and off the ground this club is by far the best I've hit. The only downfall is the sound off the face when you hit the ball, but who cares. Not only that you can now get them for $100.

This is an overall just another one of those hokes in the golf industry to make you think that just because it has a "high and low luanch" that you will be a better player, in which seriously its not that hard to make a golf ball go low or high simpky by moving the ball up or down in your stance. The club sounds like your hitting a hollow metal box at impact and the shaft is to heavy(75grams)which makes the club head to light. Overall the ball goes pretty good off the clubface but its just a mediocore club that wasnt good enough for the PGA Tour.

I would highly recommend this club to anyone looking for more performance form their # wood. This club is very long. My very best drives are 250, 260. I can hit the orlimar 240 without swinging hard. Launches high and lands soft. The only aspects of the club that I don't like is the price (got mine used $125) and it sounds like a softball bat when you hit it.
