After hearing all the hype and trying to play these clubs, I have finally given up. They are way too inconsistent, and require a virtually perfect swing. I did not find them as easy to hit off the fairway as everyone says. I have much better success with a Titleist 975F, and that club can at least be teed up normally, should the situation require it.

decent club for the money, brass weights scratch easily, as well as face, i am only 14 years old, but i hit my drives 235-250 yards, i like the distance, but limited control, seceptable to pop ups etc.. good buy

well balanced club which is easy to swing. easy to align, but inconsistant in result. the shallow face is off putting but when you hit them they are wonderfu. i tend to swing too hard and am practicing a smoother sweeping style. good for 240 yds when you're playing well and good for a laugh when your playing badly. dont use from the tee and forget the hype about the rough, they are designed for the short stuff.

I bought the Driver and the 13 degree after hitting both clubs owned by a friend. Up to that point I have always used a steel-shafted Old Taylor Made Burner. Both clubs are very light, so do get this one if you like to feel the weight of the clubhead. The driver I can hit well when I hit it. Lately it's been very inconsistent. The 3-wood is rididculously inconsistent. My playing partner and I (we all own them) have nick-named this club "The Razor", for that quality that has been mentioned in previous reviews. It is capable of sliding right beneath the ball in the rough and leaving you right where you started. This is not a rescue club. Fom the fairway I can hit it well about 2 times out of ten and when I do its wonderful. My only possible explanation is the regular flex graphite shaft, which may be too flexible for someone used to hitting steel.

these clubs were supposed to be fantastic from the rough, sweeping through the grass with ease. NEVER hit one from the rough, it WILL go straight up as the thin head go straight under the ball. If youre on the fairway there is no better club, every time straight and long, with good workability

As far as my own personal experience goes, these clubs are very inconsistant. The very first day I had these clubs I fell in love with them and pured everyone dead straight and high, but ever since then they have been terrible. Don't get me wrong when you do connect, they fly as far and straight as any club but have small room for error. I have a handicap of 4 and I usually do not mis hit my woods that badly but one minor toe or and the ball goes flying sharply right or left. It is very hard to create a consistant ball flight with these clubs, I never knew what it was going to do. Some days I would be hitting a hard draw and all I would hit with the orlimars is a high slice. Before buying such a club I highly recommend trying them out first. The infocommercial's seemed to good to be true thats because they were. I am much more happier with my Steelhead Woods even though I have sacrificed about 5 yards from the Orlimars. The Steelheads have been muuuuuch straighter.

I bought this at Golf Day's closeout sale for my spare set. Absolutely amazing distance! The first round I played I was finding places on the fairway that I was unfamiliar with. I never needed to hit the driver. Make sure you tee it low, (just barely off the ground) swing smooth and watch it go! Went out immediately to buy the 9 degree driver and 20 degree 7+. Don't buy another 3 wood till you try this first!

Keep in mind that I'm a bad golfer but this club is magic. I can finally go for the green after a typical 175-200 yd drive. I just hit easily down on the ball to make contact from the rough, fairway (rarely), cart path and the ball flies off the club face. Seldom use a long iron any more and have dropped several strokes per round. great fun!

A few hours ago I recieved an Orlimar TriMetal. I was hesitant to buy this club because I thought the club face was too shallow and I heard a lot of crap about how you get under the ball in the rough. Let me clear this up, I can't hit a three or four iron more than 100 yards off fairway grass, but the first shot I took with my Orlimar (out of thick grass in a field) went dead straight 200 yards. I'm 14 years old with a twenty-one handicap. And my swing is a little wild and I lack some fundamentals, but I hit ten in a row out 200 yards+. If it works this well for me imagine how it can improve your game.
