I have the 11 degree and 15 degree. Have not been satisfied with 11 degree at all. 15 degree I have had good results out of the fairway and short rough. I thought these clubs were good for TIGHT LIES, I was wrong. Ball flight is often too high. Hard to control distance and accuracy from tough lies. Use it from the fairway, but take a different club from the rough.

Customer Service

I had one of the copper inserts on the bottom fall out after using the club for more than a year. Sent it to the manufacturer and they replaced the club with a brand new one in about 10 days time.

The ball flies high and slices without any effort. The head feels too light and gives no feedback. If you are looking for a club that hits the ball, anywhere, buy this one. If you want consistency, look elsewhere.

God these things are cute. The trimetals sit beautifully they give they hit strongly and viewed from above the face gives a lot of confidence...definitely the best "rescue" club I have tried

As everyone knows, the face is pretty shallow on these things...it was not a problem to get used to this, in fact it means you take less liberties with your swing.

The only problem I have with this club is the shaft. I have the steel one which is fine quality wise, I just think for the rating it is soft. I will be changing it to a stiffer rifle shaft real soon and expect great results.

I just got the 14 degree (#3) and the 18 degree (#5) as gifts from my wife. What gifts! They have turned my sorry game into something I can really work on. Instead of big slices and 150 yard 3 woods off the tee or outright mis-hits, I'm now whacking them 225-260! Best of all, almost all are straight. Let me say that again, straightttt... Even the mis-hits are not bad. My friends are amazed. I'm outdriving guys in my foursome 20 years younger and it's killing them. One just bought an Orlimar driver, 13 and 17 (but not the Plus Series) after I spanked him with mine last Sunday. He is a much better player than I am so I consider that a compliment. The regular graphite shafts are fine for my swing speed. Strangely, even my (Ram) iron shots have improved. No doubt, this is part of the confidence gained from my new straight & long tee and fairway shots. What a difference! Now I can hit the 14 off the tee, and the 18 as a second shot and have a shot at the green in two or at least a 9/PW as a third shot. Now if I could just avoid those three putts! I know this sounds like one of those trumped up infomercials, but I'm just excited. I haven't ever had a lesson and rarely break 100. In my last four rounds (the only 4 with the Orlimars)I broke 100 twice! I have a set of Ping i3s on order (2 degrees upright) so these clubs are just great to build my confidence for ther new irons. By the way, I'm left handed, so to hit them well off the tee is now a pleasure because as a lefty you are a bit of an oddity and everyone is always checking out your swing. Go get em'!

Balls come screaming off the club face, but with the slightest mis-hit they'll scream real fast into the woods, water or adjacent condo. These clubs can help the scratch golfer, but do very little for HPs over 10. And whats with the price? More expensive seldom means better. It's the archer not the arrows.

The orginal TriMetal had a great feeling and sound when you hit one dead center. But, the face was too shallow for the tee box (even teed alll the way down) and deeper rough. But I love the newer Plus! models. More solid feeling, sound, and forgivness. Just the best fariway woods ever!! I use the 14 degree off the tee and will never need to use a driver again. Great clubs!!

First tried the 14*+ for my 3 wood in the fairway and still cannot believe how HOT ball comes off club and how solid and straight this club hits. Now I see why so many pros have these clubs in the bag. The driver also has the TT EI-70 shaft stiff for me and is just AWESOME distance with a boring trajectory and carry that I haven't seen with others I've tried. Not cheap but worth every penny. Thanks Mr. Ortiz!!!

Very solid club. Very easy to get the ball airborn. I have a tendency to hook this club more than others. The balance and look is great. Looking forward to trying the new deeper face model.
