I would agree with a previous contributor. I would refrain from placing much stock in the word of a guy who list's his index as 6 but plays in the 90's. My index is presently 3. I play 5 days a week. Hey it's a hard life but somebody has got to do it (LOL) I use the 16.5 4+ wood (stiff flex). It's the only fairway wood in my bag. I would state that these clubs can be hit in your sleep. The standard stock Aldila shaft truly suits the head and they fly straight as an arrow. Personally I have to be concerned with draw bias when it comes clubs. A wood like the steelhead III has way too much heel weighting and is a detriment to a draw hitter. Not so with this club. The weighting feels relatively neutral and I personally like the sound. It's crisp and metallic like a fairway metal should (in my ears) be. The face is nice and hot. What else can one say? I got it with the Aldila HM 60 gram shaft, and loved it. The Shaft was sweet, and the soung when u drill was fantastic. i often used it on the tee, but in the fairway it was awesome. i was 265 out and hit it thinking i would come up about 30 yards short. i drilled that sucker onto the green and 2 putted for birdie. i dont know what happened but i killed it. i liked it but, it wasnt good out of rough. i switched to the TM V Steel which is a good club for faster swing speeds. Cobra SZ 3 Wood
The Cobra SZ 3 wood is a fantastic golf club. I am hitting it about 235 (carry and roll) from a tee and just a little less off the fairway. Nice straight, medium trajectory. This 3 wood outperforms my old Taylor Made V Steel 3 wood by a large margin. The Cobra has a 15.5 degree loft and is a little easier to hit off the fairway, (it is one of just a few 3 woods that have that loft, most now have 15 degrees). I would recommend this club to anyone. I use the stock Aldila HM 65 graphite shaft so I don't know about the steel shaft, but I would guess that the ball flight would be lower with the steel shaft. This is one very fine golf club, very forgiving. Customer Service Haven't had a chance to use yet. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made V Steel, Calloway Steelhead III, Taylor Made 200 Steel |

I own the SZ 3 and 5. Great clubs. Easy to hit... great feel and sound. The three wood off the tee is almost as long as my driver and is far easier to hit. You cant beat the clubs that your getting for the money. I paid about $170 new for each of the clubs with a regular flex graphite shaft. Customer Service Haven't had to use them Similar Products Used: Tommy Armour's, Taylor made's V-steel |

Bought the 3 and 5 woods in June because they felt best in the store. While I have been able to hit these a little longer than my past generic woods, I can't get consistent loft. The pingy sound of the 3 wood on a solid hit just isn't fulfilling either. I'm going to return these for credit for something else. Bottom line - no confidence in these. Customer Service n/a |

These are absolutely GREAT fairway woods. I truly believe "anyone" can hit these with a high degree of success. I have owned and used many fairway woods, including a few "custom made" and the Cobra SZ series is by FAR the best. Pay no attention to the low rating, it was for "2" people, one of which list his "handicap" as a "6" and then states that he shoots in the "90's" ??!!!?? Does this sound like someone you would listen to regarding a club review !!!! Will not "bs" you with how far they hit but they are long, high ( ball lands soft most times )and most important, STRAIGHT !!! Wow, what a great 3-wood at a great price in comparison to other companies. Replaced my Taylor Made Bubble Burner with it and I find it much more forgiving, longer, and a higher trajectory. Seems to have a very low center of gravity, ball gets up even out of the rough with ease. |

After using the SS310 driver and having success I tried the SZ fairway woods and love the 5 and 7, but not so fond of the 3. All are stiff graphite shaft. I can hit the 5 wood off the ground about 230 yds or better and hit the 7 about 200 so I leave the 3 at home. I agree that the 3 hits a long low burner but not always accurate and I get the same distance from the 5. Similar Products Used: Tried them all! |

Don't understand the negatives on these clubs. The low ball flights, you must have the wrong shaft. Best fairway woods I've ever had. Easy to hit and forgiving with excellent distance. Similar Products Used: titleist, tour edge, callaway |
