Bought this Cobra SS 3+ wood as a demo. Great club! I already have a Cobra SS 350 driver, and was looking to upgrade my 3 wood. Acts very similar to the driver - very forgiving (everything in my bag is about forgiveness). I went with the 3+ (13 deg loft vs. 15.5 deg for the regular 3 wood) to get a more boring shot, and it sure does the trick. I finally have confidence in a fairway wood, which was always a gamble before.

Model Reviewed: Cobra SS 3wd 15deg. reg flex

This is a magic stick period. Best 3wd I have ever owned. Only club out there that I might hit as good might be the Sonartec in my opinion. My Mizuno T3 Ti has been great, but the Cobra is consistently longer and straighter. The Calloway's I've owned and since sold were not even close to the Mizuno or Cobra. I still cannot believe the distance with this thing. 230 yds, no problem at all. Effortless swing as the ball rockets off the face. Cobra really has something here. I lprefer a regular flex in my fairway woods since I am 85-90 mph swinger off the turf. The Cobra shaft flex fits my swing perfectly and the 15 degree loft is ideal as well. The Cobra really gets through the ball and is great off the tee also. It has replaced my Mizuno T3, but I still consider the Mizuno a great club as well and won't part with it. Try the Cobra before you buy anything else. With a price of $149, it has to be one of the best values in golf. Truly a pleasant surprise.

After three drivers in the past 5 years, the Cobra SS is by far. It is long and forgiving. The fairway woods are the first to finally make me consider dropping my trusted Taylor Made Tour Spoon.

Bring on those par-5s. This surely is a confidence booster. It can be hit off the fairway or in slight roughs with ease. I have since dumped my 3 and 4 irons. Anything around 200 metres, this is the answer. You can even take some divot with this fellow. Go get yours now.

Model Reviewed: Cobra SS 3 & 5 Wood

Last year I was looking for some new fairway woods to replace my old System 2 Taylor Made woods and after testing several I finally decided on these. At first I only purchased the 3 wood, but I liked it so much I soon after I picked up the 5 wood off of Ebay. It took only about two trips to the range to get dialed in on these clubs. They hit a nice solid trajectory, when hitting into par 5's they don't come in very high so you better roll it on to the green, but they are very easy to hit off the ground. I tried almost all the Cobra SS drivers (all but the 310)but I have not had the same success with them. I have learned not to put my reviews up right after I get my equipment. Sometimes when the new wears off I am ready to get rid of it. However I have had these since last Summer and I am still using them and have no desire to get anything new.

I am in the process of sending back a SS 290 driver that I cracked the face on. They have been very helpful with getting that setup.

I read so many positives about this club that I had to go get one. Unlike many reviews I have read my first few experiences with the club were not great. It took a while to get used to and once I did what a wonderful club it is. The ball flight is true and I found myself not hooking the ball like I am accustomed to doing. Good club. I would recommend it to anyone.

just like the 427 driver this is one amazing club. The shaft feels great and as good as any aftermarket to me. I swing about 90 tops but still went with the stiff shaft, as i get better and get my speed up i wanted to "grow with the club" as they say and also its a pretty long shaft so the stiff just feels alittle more under control ala distance might suffer but distance is almost a problem. I can hit this around 230-240 from the tee on the average and its almost to far since i have a driver in my bag i paid twice the money for to hit just a little bit further. I really wish they made a 4 wood that hit a little bit less far. I tried the 5 wood and didnt get must more distance than my callaway GBB 3 iron which is about 200 yards. Overall its a very straight club and it feels so solid off the face with the margining steel. Sounds excellent as well.

Model Reviewed: Cobra SS 3-wood

Incredibly friendly. I never hit a 3-wood as forgiving as this Cobra SS. This club gave me so much confidence that sometimes I took wreckless swings with it, and I thought the ball would end up in the other fairway (the right hand side one because I naturally slice), but it ended up just 10 yds off the center of my fairway. This club will not put on excessive side spin, so you can be more aggressive with the shots because you know that you'll not get in serious trouble. The result is you'll get more distance as well. I can even draw the ball, which I could never do with any club longer than a 5-iron. As the club gets longer, my slice gets more horrendous. Fairway wood was the weakest part of my game. Well, not anymore. I'm really enjoying hitting this club. I love par fives and long par fours. For 149 bucks, it's the cheapest game improvement that you can ever find. I doubt that the more expensive brands can do a better the job than this one. I'm gonna get myself a 5-wood and possibly a 7-wood also.
