Cleveland Launcher Fairway Woods

Cleveland Launcher Fairway Woods

DESCRIPTION

• The maraging steel face has a higher strength-to-weight ratio than standard 17-4 stainless steel. The high strength characteristics allow us to create an extremely thin and lightweight face. This makes the face “hotter”, providing maximum distance.
• The fairway woods offer optimal face depth, which provides a large hitting area for increased forgiveness.
• The combination of a pear shape and a proportional head size make it easy to square the face at address, providing confidence time after time.
• A traditional score line pattern ensures proper spin and launch angles, even in wet or heavy grass conditions.

Very long and forgiving. Ball flight is penetrating and high. thin shots still travel a long way. pure shots feel like a practice swing as if there wasnt a ball in front of you. well balanced and looks inspiring. I used to have problems with viciously hooking the ball once in a while like some reviewers here exclaim. found out it has to do with setup. the ball needs to be played 2-3" left of centre of stance. any further forward and you'll be pull hooking the ball when you swing hard. i also ensure that my hands are ahead of the clubhead at address. I consistenly hit straight or slight draw shots. try it if you've ever encountered the same problem of hooking. it worked for me.

The 15 degree Cleveland Launcher is my absolute favorite club in my bag. The small compact head feels so solid and gives me great confidence at setup. I am averaging about 250 off the tee and bombed a few in the 270-280 range. I am almost thinking about buying another just incase they stop making them in a year or two.

When struck perfectly, this club is very good feeling and accurate. otherwise shanks and snap hooks come easily.

Model Reviewed: Launcher Fairway Wood 15 degree with upgraded Grafalloy Prolite Shaft

Excellent fairway wood. Little longer than most due to a more boring ball flight. You can work the ball any way you want with the small head, up/down, draw/fade at will. The club lays very flat and is easy to line up. Good looking club and I like the ruby colored Prolite shaft better than the stock gold shaft. Best part of this club is the feel....best feeling fairway club I have ever hit when you hit the middle. Miss the sweet spot and you know immediately but no stingers, but just not that sensational feeling of hitting the middle. Again the feel is like hitting a great shot with a persimmon, this club is worth it for the feel alone...I'm very happy with my purchase.

I demoed a 15 deg. s flex at first was hitting it good. After a while I found the head snapping back exaggerating my draws. Tried to figure it out. Finally I changed the shaft to a GD YS-7 S flex with tour velvet grip (good combination for me) power fades and baby draws are a easy to do now. Head is more forgiving than my titleist 975F with the same looks. explosive face indeed. well designed clubhead

Amazing !!!!!! I have been hitting the older Mizuno woods for the last 4 years ...switched to the new Nike woods. Had trouble getting them to fly but the Clevelands flew perfectly ! Back to reaching 560 par 5's again !!! Very easy to hit, great feel ! Ball actually explodes off the face. Thanks Cleveland !

I'm not going to write loads. Suffice to say they are stunning. I'm a 20 handicap and yet week in week out hit long straight shots off the fairway. If only I could do this with my other clubs...

WOW I picked up a launcher 15* and I am blown away! I am a 8 HDC and I can hit the ball a long ways with my 9.5dg Taylor Made super steel with stiff steel shaft but the 15* launcher is WAY WAY deeper off the deck than my driver off the tee! and acurate! It favers a draw but it is VERY easy to hit fade. BEST THREE WOOD EVER!

Model Reviewed: Launcher 15/19/22 degree

I purchased the 15 degree (3 wood), 19 degree (5 wood), 22 degree (7 wood) to replace my Taylormade Burner Woods. I have been playing the Launchers for three weeks now and am convinced that I have picked up twenty yards in distance with each of the new clubs. I am also very happy with the forgiveness and the accuracy with the Fujikara shafts regular flex. Just last Saturday I hit a par five on a course that I play regularly from 250 yards out (with the wind) with the 15 degree (3 wood). The next hole 202 yard par 3 I flew the green with the 22 degree (7 wood) with the wind again. These clubs were extremely easy to get used to I am amazed how much distance I am getting out of them.
