Cleveland Launcher Fairway Woods

Cleveland Launcher Fairway Woods

DESCRIPTION

• The maraging steel face has a higher strength-to-weight ratio than standard 17-4 stainless steel. The high strength characteristics allow us to create an extremely thin and lightweight face. This makes the face “hotter”, providing maximum distance.
• The fairway woods offer optimal face depth, which provides a large hitting area for increased forgiveness.
• The combination of a pear shape and a proportional head size make it easy to square the face at address, providing confidence time after time.
• A traditional score line pattern ensures proper spin and launch angles, even in wet or heavy grass conditions.

Bought 15 degree 3 wood with a grafalloy blue shaft(stiff), great combination. Used launch monitor at store to check best head shaft combo. The standard shaft was to weak for me, have a pro check shafts for you well worth the extra cost. Carrying the ball consistently over 250 yards this is 15 yards better then other 3 woods( have same shaft in launcher 400 driver gained no distance just accuracy). Highly recommend bought check shaft options for best fit.

It always kills me to see guys posting reviews on here, "I've had it 2 days (or two weeks, or last night at the driving range)...and this club is great!" Well, I've been playing these Launcher Fairway woods since they came out and they're the best thing that ever happened to shots from 170 and up. I started with the 13* and loved it so well I've since bought the 17*, 19*, 22* & 25*. I split 'em up with my wife & she loves 'em too. It was the woods that got me to try the Launcher driver & I've gone from 330 (9.5* stiff) to 400. My wife tried my 400 one time, bombed it like nothing before & sent me out to buy another one of those, for myself! My bag has the 9.5 Driver, the 13*,17* & 22*, basically strong 3, strong 5 & seven woods and I love the combination. My friends accuse me of being a 'golf club slut,' always switching irons, but they have noticed that after years of every kind of Callaway wood the Clevelands have found a home to stay. It's not always looking for a new club, it's looking for the right clubs & the Cleveland woods are it!

Two words about this club - buy one. This club is so solid and straight it doesn't seem fair. I am not a long hitter, yet I consistently hit this 200-215 yards. I bought the 15* w/ the Stiff Fujikura shaft and it is a pleasure to hit. Now I know why all the reviews for this club were so good.

This club is brilliant. I dont claim to be a good player, but everytime i strike with this club it makes me look like one. I have no idea why, but its a HELL of a lot easier to hit than my driver (titliest 975d 10.5deg stiff), and rips through the air to 220 yards. I have some mates who play off a 6 & 8 handicaps and they ask to borrow this club over there own 3 woods. I would strongly recommend this club to any level of player. Just be careful with what shaft you get! Brilliant!!!!!! I got mine secondhand for 100 quid, it was pretty nearly flawless.... so if your just starting for look second hand beauty to save cash!!!!

My favorite club in the bag. I play about 4 times a year and now trying to improve with lots of driving range time. I purchased the 15* with R flex standard shaft and I consistently hit it 210-225; I have problems getting my driver that far. The weight is proportional and balanced, is very easy to swing and rarely slices (my big problem).

Strange! the 3 wood is just about the best golf club I've ever hit, normally use reg shaft (as in my launcher 330 10.5 driver) of the deck this club is just sooo easy to hit and is almost as sweet of a low tee peg.........but why do I struggle a bit with the 5 wood (more miss hits and therefore much less confidence!and a much lower ball flight?) will stick with my Mizuno fli-hi reg steel 21 degree for now, has anybody else had similar experience? 5+ stars for the 3 wood though

I went to find a new three wood and had three in mind to try, the Adams GT, Launcher and the new Nike. I hit the Adams first and its a good club. Then I hit the Launcher. I was sure I was buying this club after about 5 hits in the simulator. When you hit a good one, this could be the sweetest feeling club I have ever hit. I didn't even bother trying the Nike, because I couldn't see it being better than this. Plus I have a Launcher driver and wedges, so I like Cleveland products. I have no problem getting this club up in the air from the fairway and its good off the tee as well. The only thing I don't like is that I can't go after it really hard. When I do, I get a hard hook. But that I hit long enough to where I don't really need to do that anyway. If you are looking for a 3-wood, definately give this one a test. It may not work for you, but its not going to leave my bag any time soon.

An incredible piece of artwork and engineering. I had troubles getting my Nike driver to hit the fairways. I opt for the Mizuno Fli-Hi utility iron which is a great club but distances are not substantial enough to combat with 370+ yards par 4's. I then bought the Launcher 15 degree Stiff flex. In the beginning, I would hit this club high and to the right(a little fade) which did not produce great distances. I then strengthen my grip which allowed the club to hit very very beautiful draw shots which traveled an extra 30 yards then when it was fading. The shaft took getting used to but once I had learned its nuances, I can pretty much hit this club with great ease. WAY TO GO CLEVELAND!

Customer Service

None...by the way, The stock shaft is amazing.
