This club is great I am only 14 but im pretty good im in the jr. pga tour right now. I had a lot of trouble getting a fairway wood that fitted me I used to have a tight lies wood but i scrached that. This club hits it very crisply and it sounds nice also. It really has much forgivness as well. I woud highly recomend this club to any yteman who is looking for a club that will lower the score in your game. |

Cleveland Launcher Driver
Was able to test this club during two rounds this summer. The results for me were remarkable. It made great use of my swing - which is not particularly fast but is very solid. I drove the ball consistently straight and lofted and about 250 yards or so. It is now Christmas time and I am seriously thinking about purchasing one for my present to myself! |

This is a very very solid wood i own the 9.5 Launcher with GD YS-7,so it was only natural to get the fairway wood.I have the 15* with a YS-7 and this buy far is the longest 3 wood i've ever hit so ling that i dropped my Titleist 975F in favor of this.Look around before you buy so you can get the shaft you what the shaft makes all the difference in this club.. |

Nice club. I like these fairway woosds much better than the Drivers. Very solid and explosive off the clubface--nice stable shaft. I do have one big complaint to Cleveland, and that is that they got caught up in the "we want the longest 5 wood in the industry " game and so they put three wood plus length shafts in thier 5 woods. Shame on you Clevland, you know, as experienced golfers do, that the extra shaft length hurts more in consistentcy than any increase in yardage can make up for. If you are a tall golfer that usually likes to have clubs built longer than standard length then these might be just the ticket for you. Otherwise, if Cleveland offers this club in a more standard length steel shaft, then that would be the prefered option for the average golfer. The extra weight of a steel shaft would also help get the club down to the ball off of a fairway lie. However, for a tall golfer looking for a two wood set up-- driver and fairway wood, then a 17* Launcher might fill the bill perfectly as your one fairway wood. For those seeking a 5, 3, driver set up, I think there are better choices out there Customer Service NA Similar Products Used: Callaway Steelhead Mizuno Blue Rage Titleist 975F |

Clevelland Launcher 15 and 19* stiff
I thought I'd have to search long and hard to find better fairway woods than my previous Ping i3s but these Launchers suit my game perfectly. They set up perfectly at address and the head and shaft balance means I can really let rip. They are long and controllable. The 15* almost makes a Driver redundant and is almost as long off the deck as the tee. I find the feel at impact is both solid and explosive and the ball flight is excellent and the 15* seems to generate more roll than any club I've played - the club sets up for a slight draw. The 19* has quickly become my club of choice on the fairway and I can work it under the wind better than any higher loft fairway wood I've previously used. I've become a Cleveland convert - using TA5 irons as well. I compared these woods to many other brands including Taylormade and Ping. The combination of design, wonderful shafts and a good clubface depth ( TMs to shallow) and consistency ( Pings are superb but pea sized sweet spot make them a real handful on an off day) makes these Clevelands a real revelation and for my money a genuine step forward for players looking to improve their long game. Launcher 13*
The "honeymoon period" is over so I'm pretty sure my opinion is fair. I've played the Launcher since May and I have never been happier with a golf club. The 13 degree is suprisingly easy to hit off the ground. In fact, it is so easy to hit that I don't even tee it up on the tee box. The trajectory is piercing. I find it extrelemy difficult to baloon (even in the high winds we usually have here). I am hitting more par 5's in 2 than ever and I'm hitting the fairway more often on the par 4's on which I don't use a driver. The stock shaft at first felt feeble and weak, but after a summer and falls worth of abuse it has held up nicely. I never keep a stock shaft in my woods, but I see no reason to change. The feel (with the stock shaft) is very metallic. It soounds a little funny, a high pitched ping, but feels pretty good. The sound and feel are a little hard for my taste but the results are typically outstanding. Distance and accuracy with this club are the attributes tha have kept it in my bag. I hit the ball so far that I had to add a five wood (TM 200 also a good club) so I wouldn't be long on the par 5's. I know distance is different with every swing, but an example for me happened a few days ago. I hat my drive around 290 into a 10 mph breeze. I was standing on a sprinkler head that said 260 left to the green. I was having a good ball striking day so I decided to give it a rip. My partners just shook their heads because I had to carry a creek that was 5 yards in front of the green. I hit it and put it just past pin high with an easy 2 putt birdie (needless to say I won some money that day). I won't say that everyone will hit it this far, but with my 110+ mph swingspeed it is an absolute cannon. Hope this review helps. Customer Service No need yet, but Cleveland is typically pretty slow. Cleveland Launcher 25*
Sets up very nice, good distance, sounds good, workable, Cleveland has a real winner here. I was looking at 7 and 9 woods to hit into longer par 4's and I went thru many of them before finally settling on this little Launcher. I thought I didn't want anything higher than 23* but it turned out I was wrong. I tried Wilson Deep Red 7wd, Callaway SH III 9 wd, Titleist 975f 20.5*, Mizuno, you name it. Well I finally gave in and tried the 25* Launcher and boy I am very satisfied. I am not hitting it any higher than I want and if I need to hit it lower, I can turn it over and hit a draw to lower the ball flight. Great club, especially for the money. Cleveland Launcher 15 degree, S.
I brought a Callaway steelhead III 3-wood this week, and took it to the driving range to test it out, I was hitting it fine, but after about 10 balls later, the flight of the ball start going weird, and I look down the club, the top of the club's paint is coming off, and the face is all dented in, and top line edge is completely cracked, I can not believe Callaway makes a such poor product that sells for $249.99! If Callaway people is reading this, please paid attention! You just lost a customer, and if you don't improved your quality, you will lose a lot more future customers. I took it back to the shop and got a new 3-wood, and went back to the range, and it feels awful when you make a contact. I either hook it, or slice it, can't hit anything straight, so in a hurry and went back to the proshop and look around and saw a Cleveland Launcher 15 degree 3-wood, stiff gold shaft in the domo bag, and try it, and love it, balls go straight, perfect trajectory, after hitting about 20 balls, I finally hit a bad shot, it is about 10 yard left of the center (normally, that would be a good shot for me, but today I am dead-on with this club). Went back to the proshop, but they are all out of the this club, so I brought this domo club for $149.00. Friends, you must try this club!! now I am a believer of Cleveland! Customer Service Not yet. Terrific club. Much longer and more consistent than Steelhead 3+ and 5. Heavier feel and solid profile builds confidence. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Steelhead, Nickent |
