Nothing to say other than the best 3 wood you can buy. Nothing compares to the 3+. On the fareway, or a tight tee, it delivers distance and accuracy. It is by far one of the best go to clubs in you can have in your bag. Hit it about 240 yards, straight or with a slight fade when you need it. If you want a 5 or 7 wood, recommend the Orlimar. But a 3....nothing buy a Callaway Steelhead 3+. Replace the grip with a Winn 5 and you'll fall in love. Customer Service Callaway Service???........The very Best. Have a lot of Callaway in my bag, never have an issue, if I do, the service Callaway gives is Top Notch. Similar Products Used: Ping, 975F, |

Steelhead+ 4 wood
This is a great club! Very easy to swing. Off-centre hits go dead straight and only penalise you in distance. I have never been a fan of woods off the fairway (I used to carry only a driver and irons) but this thing is so damn easy to hit! Great for high handicappers - I don't know about low-handicappers cause I certainly ain't one. Full marks to Callaway! Customer Service excellent Similar Products Used: Brosnan |

This club is very very good. If you connect on this, you will be 250 dead straight in the middle of the fairway. If you heel it, your in for some trouble, but if you toe it everything draws back to straight(but with a loss of distance). Club sits well and looks good. Makes a lovely sound and hits well until...........the top plate of the head sinks below the face of the club producing an ugly dent...... Or, as has happened to my mates' driver, the toe of the face has dented inwards......or the varished finish has chipped off with a minor roof with another mates' club. Overall mine and three others in my local club have sent back their woods as they hit them well but of the four of us, two replaced clubs have repeated their last performance. The quality, as you have guessed, is absolutely awful and I won't ever touch ANY callaway again. Does it happen to hawkeye's and steelhead +'s as well? Customer Service Replaced clubs but just as rubbish as before. Similar Products Used: Titleist 975d, TI bubble 2 |

I switched from a Biggest Big Bertha 8* with a graphite shaft to a Steelhead Plus 9* with a steel shaft. The trajectory is a lower, more boring flight that runs when it lands. I had more flight time with the BBB because of the ballooning effect I got from the graphite, but the roll I get from the Steelhead Plus more than makes up for it. I have found that the Steelhead is forgiving. Shots that would have sliced right or hooked left, are now fades or draws. That may be due to the shaft. The steel shafts have been a nice surprise. I was hesistant going back to steel after hitting graphite for so long. I am pleased with the results. The price isn't bad either. Callaway Steelhead Plus 7 wood
I shoot most of the time around 71 to 78. I can only play 9 holes once or twice a week. I don't have a lot of practice time. I got rid of my PRIDE and took my three iron out of my bag. I put in the Callaway 7. This is the best move I have ever made. People said its more like a 4 iron. No way!!! I hit it 230 off the tee and 205 to 225 off the ground. I hit my 4 iron about 200. Let me ask you something if your in the fairway or light rough and your out 210 what are you going to hit? That 3 iron that you haven't been practicing with or take out that 7 wood and put it on the green. I can take any 0 handicap player and drop 5 balls from 215 and see who gets closer with there 3 iron or my 7 wood. Actually its not even close. I win every time.(this is true if there is not a lot of wind) Obviously a 3 iron would be best in high wind conditions. I don't like a 5 wood because my Titleist 975F 13.5 degree i can take off. It all comes down to this. If your out there 200 to 220 what will be the easiest club to hit a 3 iron or a Callaway Plus 7 wood. Similar Products Used: None |

Steelhead Plus 11 degree driver
I have had problems with other drivers that really slice or pop up and this driver has solved them. I this this driver straighter and longer with great feel. I am a fader and I can occassionally hit a draw with this. I have tried several drivers this year and have settled on this one with a steel shaft. I'm having more fun with this club. I may try the three or five wood next. Similar Products Used: Orlimar driver, Adams TL2 driver. |
