Just purchased the #3 & #4 CFT Ti Ben Hogan hybrids with regular Aldila shafts and couldn't be happier. The shaft is great for me (about 96mph driver speed).
Hit almost every shot really well, was getting about 185 metres on the #3 and 165 metres on the #4. They are so good I am now after the #1 the 14 degree 0 hydrid and probably the #5. Used the #4 on 2 long par 3's (165m & 168m) and hit long & straight onto both greens. They are so easy to hit, beautifully balanced & designed. Would recommend to anyone. Real Quality.

I started out with the the Hogan #3 and found it so versatile and easy to hit that I got a #5 as well. Just easier to get the ball up and work it either way. I then got a #2 to replace the 3 wood, it's long and sweet and easy to hit off the fairway. My latest and last purchase was the #1, I hit it nearly as far as my driver but much more accurate. The prices are great. These clubs will be a great addition to anyones bag who is looking to lower their handicap with less effort and for less money.

I'm not sure why these beauties rate an overall 4 on the average of the reviews. Now, I know there are some squirrelly dudes who post here, not sober and sharp like moi.

I have the #3 steel shafts in mine, and they are among the best hybrids out there... if you take the performance and price together, they are the best, IMO. Got mine for $29.99 plus S/H new.

It's all personal, but I love the balance and feel of these hybrids. The 17* is very easy to get in the air, and both are hot faced clubs, great distance, and great accuracy. I could probably do these hybrids all the way down to the 6 iron like some senior pros, but will wait a bit, as my current irons (good old RAC OS with S graphite) are pretty darn forgiving as well. Great job, Hogan, too bad nothing else of Hogan's is any good any more! Maybe that is why these are cheap.

I bought my CFT 3h after trying out a demo at my local club. I was having trouble hitting my long irons like most 12 handicappers in their early 30s. My days of puring 3 irons as a 5 handicap had faded away. The ball just explodes off of these clubs. I hit my 3h about 205 with a nice, high draw and it's basically impossible to fit it fat. I've recently replaced my 4 and 5 iron with a 4h and 5h and I'm loving it.

its a great club the first time i used it i hit it 190 to the green. i actually just took it from my friends bag but then bought it later. i recomend it to anyone!

I love this club its super forgiving and i hit it farther than my 5w. its almost always straight and it sticks to the green

Replace both my 3 iron and 4 iron with these Hogans. Love them both. Previously used utility clubs setup with a closed face which I didn't like. These clubs feel great at impact and will stay in my bag for some time to come. Can't beat the price on these and can be found cheap on ebay.

I just recently received the hogan cft ti 4h(24deg)club. The club was intended to replace my inconsistent 4 iron. I was a little concerned at first because of the way the club aligned. On a flat lie, the club wanted to open up considerably. I think this is due to the heel design of the club. The heel of the club appears to shallowed out compared to the toe of the club. I called Hogan customer service and they reassured me the club was designed to have a nuetral face - no draw or fade enhancements. I recentlyh took the club out on the course (Southers Marsh) in Plymouth,Mass and on a par 3 175 all carry, I hit about 8 yrds beyond the flag on the green with a nice easy swing. Great feel, large sweet spot and you know where the head is at all times due to the weighting. I am very pleased with my choice based upon Golf Magazine's review. Visually, the club is also pleasing to the eye.

The first Hogan CFT Hybrid iron I bought was the 2 iron. I purchased the club after testing against all the competitors at a demo day. I've never in the past had success with 2 iron, but for some reason I think I need one in my bag. This club is as easy to hit as a 7 iron, my favorite club in the bag. I've since gone out and bought the 3 hybrid iron and the complete graphite CFT iron set 4 through FW. I love my irons. My iron play has improved dramatically.
