Zevo Compressor Driver 9*
I have been playing the game for about five years and found my handicap was fixed due to my average driving distance. I have gone through several well promoted big name drivers without any real improvment and based on these reviews purchased the Compressor. Extrordinary, straight, very long and intutitive. Zevo has a winner with this club. The shaft is a "S" very well matched to the large head. This is the first "large" headed driver, 300cc+, that I can shape my drives with. Draw, fade, straight, high or low. Average increase was 17 to 25 yards. Some are close to 300 yards. I can't praise this club enough. Good job ZEVO! Customer Service Have not had to use. I became the proud owner of this killer club late last season. The first time I used it was a in a once a year grudge match that has been going on for 15 years. I told them I broke my driver and picked this one up at KMart for $59.00 as it was the only place open. I had the best driving day of my life and won the match. All they could talk about after was how the club doesn't matter if I could hit that KMart special 300 yards and past all of their top of the line equipment. They never knew I succered them until this year. Since then 6 of my friends have bought this jewel Customer Service Customer service has been outstanding. Wow, this is the real thing ! I am hard to impress and this club did it! I have a non conforming 420R club with a Penley shaft that is my benchmark club. Nothing until this club was even close in distance or control. The amazing part is that I tested in cold weather,(40 deg), and the distance was longer than my best with the benchmark club in normal temperatures. So I hit the clubs back to back and the Zevo won. The control was very good for a OE shaft. Not up to the Penley, it worked good on easy swings, but would not handle "getting on it" I am installing the Penley in the Zevo to try. Give this bad boy a try. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Zero Tolerance, Adams 363, Nickent, Golfsmith, Titleist, Taylor Made |

Zevo Compressor 10.5* Stiff
The demo at the proshop does not tell me anything about the distance but found a good deal on Ebay for $185 slightly used. Took it out to the range today and WOW! "Kong+Pang" is the fusion of soundwaves blasting from this driver. Everybody kinda looked. It is not the most pleasant sound, compared with the Callaways, Pings, or Honma. However, for the first time, I got it on the island over the pond lake (range). It must be 260 yards with a range ball. Thus, I'm satisfied with the club. I have a couple of mis-shots due to the 45.5" shaft I received but the club has been most forgiving. Haha... I never really used a driver I could hit accuratley and far at the same time. But the compressor has helped out a lot. I can concentrate on control more and let the driver take care of the distance. Very forgiving and very long. I've seen others note the sound, but it's really not that loud...just different, a great driver!! Customer Service Haven't needed them. I have used several drivers,(Titelist, Olimar, Ping etc.) and I hit this driver straighter and longer than any other driver I have used. Even my miss hits are better than with other drivers. On narrow, difficult fairways where I previously used a three wood, I now have the confidence to hit this driver. In summary it is the best driver I have had to date. Short story - If you have trouble off the tee, try the Zevo Compressor! It is very forgiving & very, very long. My background: I have never really hit a driver well. In fact about 2 years ago, I finally took my driver out of my bag and I have relied on my 3 wood ever since. I first read about the Zevo Compressor in Popular Science Magazine. I thought, what do a bunch of nerds know about golf clubs? I then read about it in Golf Digest and I thought, heck, all of the new drivers are alike. Then I was on the range at the local golf course and a guy from the pro shop was hitting the demo and raving about it. After watching him hit one over 360 yards I was interested, but man it was loud. I borrowed it for my round. My first shot was no more than 8 feet off the ground, but still staight and about 250-260 yards. My second shot was a high blooper, but again it was still straight & it cleared the fairway bunker. The third shot was awesome! A 412 yard par 4 and I was sitting a sand wedge out on my second shot. I was sold! I bought one that night and I have no regrets. The Zevo Compressor is very loud and very big. If you are a red blooded American you'll love it. It is a little spendy, but it is a must have for most every mid-to-high handicapper. Again I ask, what do a bunch of nerds know about golf clubs? Well, apparently more than I do. I don't usually write reviews, but I must say this club is surely worth the money. The noise this club makes takes a while to get use to. The awesome thing about this club is even on miss hits i'm still driving the ball 250 yds. Sweet!! Try it out Customer Service Haven't needed them. Zevo Compressor 9 degree
I usually buy one new club a season .. but hadn't seen anything that caught my eye .. until I read about the compressor. Hit a few at the store .. and I was sold. Ran to the range with it and bombed a few balls into the net at the end of our range. I normally draw the ball and Hook bad swings .. but this club had me fading almost every shot. I hit 16 very good drives out of my first 18 .. and a few that could have been close to 300 yards. The two bad shots were bad swings. Yes .. this club is loud and long, but the thing I liked the best was the forgiveness on mis-hits. All seemed to stay pretty straight .. and didn't lose a ton of distance. I got the 9 degree regular .. which has a pretty "whippy" feel to it. The head of this club is very oversized and the shaft is long but feels comfortable for a short guy. Looking forward to on-course performance. |

As I am left-handed and play right my natural flight is a draw, so this club's rather pronounced closed set up and hot roll made it "not for me". I lent it to a short-hitting, slicing buddy; he loved it so immediately that he paid me 100 cents on the dollar for my "used" club. So, on his behalf, I give the thing "5 stars".
