ZEVO COMPRESSOR 9 DEGREE STIFF
I'm not one to write reviews, but I AM one to read them and I studied up on a lot of drivers as well as test drive a lot of the new "HOT" clubs on the market, and I must say the ZEVO COMPRESSOR is by far, hands down , the most UNREAL club I've hit for length and accuracy.I played a CALLAWAY HAWKEYE 9 degree(stiff)for 2 years and really liked the ease of hitting it, as well as off the fairway, then switched to a YONEX V-MASS 400 for some added distance.I'm not overly long and averaged around 240-250 yards with the "C" & "J" clubs, but the ZEVO sails around 275 on the fly!!! Very straight hitting with very little tendency to fade or draw. I'm sold!!! Customer Service Haven't needed. Zevo Compressor
Great driver. I gave up on my crappy Big Bertha II. The Zevo Compressor is more forgiving, and just as long. It sounds like a softball bat, but keeps me in the fairway. I had a few drives drift 5 yards right, but not the major slices of the Big Bertha II. The Compressor is long as well. My typical drives are 240-260. With the Compressor, I averaged about 260-270 and very accurate. I'm using an Aldila One 65 shaft. It's a great combination. Zevo Compressor 10.5 R flex
I've struggled with driving this year. Tried 6 different drivers and swing changes this season, no help. I'm not only short but a slice to boot! About ready to throw it all in. I saw this club at Second Swing, it has a 47" shaft. Felt good in net, but thought the 47" would be a problem. Didnt buy. Read these reviews that night, wished I had bought the club. Next day my 975D ate me up on 18 and I drove to store right from the course after a terrible round. Bought club. Went to the course the next day without hitting the club to play 18. First tee I drove the green!!!! 285 yards w/wind. I could not even drive 200 yards day before! The entire round I increased my normal distance by 30 to 60 yards! Did I say they were all HIGH flying bombs and DEAD Straight! NO slice at all! Well time will tell. It works great for me. If I choke up 1-2" on grip I still have a 45-46" shaft with control. The only problem I have now is that I can't wait to play again. Just swing easy, its all you need. I now can compete with my fellow golfers. If this club continues to play this well for me I will buy another. First of all let me start by saying that this club is LONG. I get 30 more yards from this club that I did from my previous driver. From the odd sounding KAWOMP sound on you know you've smashed it. My club is a 11.5* model, with a regular flex. I recommend this club. For the price you cant beat it. Similar Products Used: King Cobra SS 3 and 5 Woods, 2002 Zevo Irons |

Zevo Compression 11.5*
I bought this club after testing many clubs and reading as many product reviews as I could. The first day I got the club I headed to the range and let a small bucket fly. After adjusting for the longer shaft and swinging smooth the balls rocketed off the face. The sound is kind of like a bat as mentioned in other reviews. This week I played 18 at my normal course and I must say that I never hit a poor shot with this club. Almost everthing was 275-300 with one that I must have caught the middle of the sweet spot on flew 310. I can't wait to play tonight and see what kind of movement I can put on the ball and dial in the sweet spot. I played a Taylor Made Super Steel prior and that club has been sold to a friend. I tried the Zevo driver 8 degree driver and just could not hit it straight. I pushed just about everything to the right. After using for 1 month I traded in for a Cleveland Launcher 330cc after trying several drivers and am hooked on this club. The zevo driver gave me good distance, I just couldn't get it to fly straight. I'm sure a good amount of this is the golfer an not the club, but I hit every smaller headed driver better that I tried. 9* zevo compressor w/ penley eta
ordered one from dynamicgolf.com as a christmas present for myself in 2002.it came w/ a 46-inch x-flex penley eta shaft. because i sliced it more often than a sous chef, i somewhat gave up on it and got myself a non-conforming 0.860cor taylor made r580, and an integra v550. however, since i had no idea how to swing properly (then) i just couldn't get it straight (i was fading and power fading or straight out slicing). in april 2003, while trying a power fade (which i could do to 220metre (abt 240yds), i hit the hosel with a swingspeed of 130mph and the head flew--along with the ball--to 150m (163yds). well, the x-flex was too much for me anyway. since my insurance covers the replacement of the shaft, i ordered a penley eta s-flex and it is marvelous. since i swing in the range of 105-115mph, this shaft is a perfect complement to the head. it is far and i've consistently outdriven my playing partners by 50m (55yds), averaging abt 250-265m (272.5-289yds) per drive. i'm very happy with these. the bang i own with the bimatrix is long as well, but it is abt 20-yards shorter since i put a 12* head on the shaft. the r580 i've driven to 300 (once) and most end up in the 250-260yd range. the longest drive i've done is 290m (316yds) but that was more the ball (pro v1) than the club. i use nike distance balls. the only other driver which is as long and penetrating as the zevo is taylor made's new xr-05 driver. it comes with a superlight shaft (40+grams) and i used a ladies flex and whacked it consistently at 280-290yards on a swing of 108-110mph (i have a beltronics swingmate). Customer Service not very good. i wrote to them asking abt repairs and they said they've been sold to either golfsmith or golfworks & asked me to wait. it's been 3 emails and 2 months and nada. horrible. Can only say WOW! Had to go out and buy 2 of these. First one I bought was a 9* stiff shaft, the other is a 8* X stiff which am going to add a couple of inches to shaft. Have only been playing for a couple of years but have purchased many sets of irons and woods in these past couple of years. Have a couple of friends that are scratch players and they have helped me a great deal with the understanding of the game and how I should attack it. Have been through several other drivers but never one quite like this baby. I generally average 280 plus on my drives but can be somewhat off from time to time...this driver just doesn't seem fair though. Never thought that I would be using a driver this with this size of head but it's great. Plenty of confidence at approach, easy to work, head turning sound...LONG, STRONG and STRAIGHT. Better hurry and getcha one. Customer Service Have no complaints yet nor do I see any in the future. Zevo Compressor 9'
I have been hitting the Zevo Compressor for almost a year now, I am extremely pleased with the consistent results this club provides. I have, however, changed the original "Compression Coil" shaft to the new Grafalloy Blue. I felt the Compression Coil shaft produced too much back spin on the ball that resulted in a rising ball flight and soft landings. With a swing speed of 110mph, I was achieving 241yds of average carry with only 260yds of total distance. With the new Blue shaft on the club, my carry distance increased 4yds and overall distance increased to 275yds. A nice improvement over the original shaft/clubhead combination. I would recommend giving the Compressor a try if your still looking for that "magic driver". At around $200 new, it is definitely a good value.
