ZT Crown Jewel Maxima 360
I was a little skeptical when I read the reviews, but I called ZT directly and spoke with John - he custom-fitted me for a club without any problems. This driver looks great and feels great. I was only getting about 230yds with the old driver, a Ping knockoff. I'm 30, 155lbs., swing speed of about 95. I got a regular flex shaft and I'm glad I did. This thing goes BOOM! when you hit it, and the ball flight is high and long. The sound at impact is a solid rifle shot, not a 'plink' or "boing" like some Ti drivers. It really instills confidence. I'm getting on avg. about 15-20 extra yards per drive, and my average drive is much straighter. I would advise teeing the ball up a little higher, for those unaccustomed to really deep-face drivers, but with a higher tee I've acheived great results. For the price this driver easily beats other clubs I've tried. Customer Service The best in the business. John knows his products and stands behind them. Delivery can be a little slow from ZT if they're busy, but I've never seen a company that takes care of you like this. Their website at www.ztgolf.com is also helpful for getting specifications. The first driver I owned was a ZT 260cc driver. Great driver but wanted to take advantage of the new drivers with bigger sweet spot, more forgiveness, and "advertised" longer distances. I tried several with the last being the Nike 350. I was all over the place with the Nike. Not to lay all the blame on the Nike, I had a stock regular shaft and my driver swing speed is 107. If I would have had stiffer shaft maybe I would have been more successful with it. I've had a chance to play four rounds with the ZT360 with an Aldila One mid-launch shaft. AWESOME. I've gone from hitting 8-9 fairways per round to 11-12 fairways. I've gained about 8-12 yards mainly due to the desired slight draw I'm able to hit now with the ZT360. I now hit @ 285 yards. The sound of the club is beautiful. Not ear piercing like some mentioned below. I would highly recommend this driver. I thought about waiting for the Ping Si3 but glad I didn't. Customer Service Have not used the customer service at Zero Tolerance for a few years. Use to be great. Jon at clubwerks.com is courteous, quick and does a great job with customization. I shoot low 80's, 6' 2", 170 lb., 54 yrs. old, Swing Speed 98, Tempo 1.3 sec. This is the best driver I have ever played. In golf terminology I hit it "good". The look is rich, quality and somewhat traditional. I made this driver for my girlfriend who is 5' 9" and swings 75 MPH, flex 228 CPM, loft 12 Deg, 44.5", Apache Shaft, D 1. I tried it on the range for fun and then in a scramble. I hit normal, more boring trajectory with a draw IN THE MIDDLE and LONG, REALLY LONG. Normally I play 245-250 CPM, 45", D4, 10-10.5 Deg. I would have thought I would have hit it high left and all over the place but no. The only thing I can think is that I have a slow tempo which allows me to play a softer shaft. I am trying the Maxima 400 in the spring. Headcover is good especially the new ones. SUMMARY: It's all good! Customer Service John is great. He really wants to help you and sell his product, but he wants to sell it for all the right reasons. If you need help he is more than willing and able. Club - CJ Maxima 360 - 8 degree with Penley Stealth 70 stiff shaft. What a difference the Maxima 360 has made to my game. Handicap has gone from 15 to 10 since using the 360 purchased in July. My drives are straighter and much longer. More drives end up in the fairway than when I used my Titleist 975. I now have more confidence using the Maxima 360 driver on tight driving holes where in the past I used an iron or 3 wood. I went neck to neck with the 360 and Nike 400, being Nike I wanted the 400 to win. But, after several rounds and trips to the range, the CJ wins hands down. The sound is awesome and just with a smooth swing gives me drives of 280+, I have not tried to juice it yet, because my next iron shot lands me on the green anyway. Plus with the bargin I received, the club is in the bag to stay. Anyone want to buy a Nike 400 9.5 s? Customer Service Not used Similar Products Used: Nike 400, Callaway BB, Cleveland |

Absolutely wonderful golf club. Accurate, forgiving and long. Played 18 today with it and hit all but one fairway. strange though...as long as my old Taylor Made but almost all carry - not a lot of roll...I wonder what a 7.5 degree club would be like??? Customer Service Excellent customer service - fast response. |

Maxima 360
Me: 5''10", 185lb , driver swing speed is 97- 102 mph with a medium tempo. Appearance: The Maxima 360 is a great looking club. Finish and paint job surpass most of the big boys'' offerings. The Ion Plasma treatment gives it a better look, more durability from scratches and ball marks and a more solid feel than other ti driver heads. Appearance is a bit smaller than the size would indicate. Head looks like a cross between a TF 360 (face area, shape at address) and an Integra C2/C4 (C2 also has the same shiny look and good feel, but is done with a cryo treatment). I really like the larger alignment aid they put on this club (and on the 330). The club has a fairly deep face at 2" 1/4, so you do need the longer tees. Headcover is quality and matches up well. Performance: Distance was in line with TF360. This is a long club, but they all seem to be these days. I can''t make any claims of big-time increased distance. I can say that my overall average drive did increase, because........ Forgiveness is amazing....hit one drive on the course that went about 230 on a rope and knew that I''d mis-hit it. I looked at the face and realized that the ball imprint was only half the ball, at the bottom of the club and at the heel. I just about fell over. Trajectory is pretty high, as expected with a 10 deg club. Ball seems to carry a LOT, but does not roll as much as other drivers---this could be as a result of the moist spring fairways here in Toronto and in Myrtle. But hit more towering drives than boring ones. Verdict: Very happy with the club. It''s in the bag and knocked out the TF360 based on looks and feel. Excellent value......blows away drivers costing 3 times the price. Clearly strong in looks, feel and forgiveness. As long as all clubs out there of similar size, but forgives everything. You have to put an awful swing on the ball to move it out of play in one direction or the other. Customer Service Excellent. The company always responds to e-mails. CJ Maxima 360
Crown Jewel Maxima 360cc 9° XLT 70 Stock 45 “ Stiff Flex Golf Pride Tour Wrap Grip The CJ Maxima 360 is without a doubt one of the more aesthetically pleasing golf clubs that you will find on the market today. Its deep blue color is luxurious and its shine quite appealing. I’ve received numerous compliments on the look of this club. Too bad it has the same color scheme as the Nike driver. The CJ Maxima 360 sets up very well and is comfortable at address. Its big but gives an illusion of a smaller head perhaps because of the smooth tapered back which helps make the transition from a smaller club like the 975 D a little easier. The 975 D has performed very well for me. My tendencies for this club were a straight ball or a slight draw. The average carry is about 275 yards. The CJ Maxima 360 by comparison had an average carry of about 290 yards but the ball flight is dramatically different. As opposed to the boring trajectory I had with the 975 D, the CJ Maxima 360 had a much higher ball flight. Perhaps some of that can be attributed to the .5 ° difference in loft but more likely it’s the result of head weight distribution. Similarly, my tendency to draw the ball had almost disappeared, being replaced by a high fade. Initially, when a first hit this club, the ball sliced so much that I was convinced I had forgotten all I know about the golf swing. However, a few set-up alterations, necessitated by the 360 cc head, brought much more control to the shot. The result was some bombs of mega-large distance that had me shaking my head. Part of the fade issue, I believe, may be shaft related. However, until I can test other shafts, the jury is still out. Overall, the CJ Maxima 360 is a very solid driver. It is very forgiving (at 360 cc how could it not be) but there was at least substantial feedback on mis-hits. This club was also very audibly pleasing. Unlike some of the high-pitched tuning forks out there, the CJ Maxima 360 had a sound that says “power”, and turned heads on the range. I’ve only had this club for a few weeks so there hasn’t been a lot of on-course evaluation but the initial impressions are quite good. For those of you, who believe there is life outside of the pricey OEM market, check out this club by Zero Tolerance. You will be happy that you did. Customer Service Not required to date but in initial contact seemed very accomodating |

CJ Maxima 360
Value/Quality: Contrary to what many have written, I found the quality of this head to be a notch below the OEM''s and top quality components from Golfsmith (granted I''m pickier than most). Overall very acceptable for a component driver, but probably not worth $95 for the head only. Forgiveness: This is where this driver shines. I''ve hit nearly everything in the universe and this driver is on a very short list of exceptionally forgiving OEM / component drivers. It just wants to go straight no matter where you hit it on the face, with very little penalty for not hitting the sweetspot. As with all large heads, it will slightly exaggerate the banana ball, but not too badly. I can''t draw this no matter how much I catch it out on the toe, however - VERY forgiving here. Distance: I have a swing speed of roughly 100mph and normally hit most 10* drivers in the 275 yard range. This one consistently gives me all of that - IN THE AIR. I have yet to hit a driver that has the high, floating carry that this one has. It''s not a great wind driver, but it''s OH MY GOD long when conditions are calm. Because of this you only get 10-15 yards roll, but who cares when the ball is out there 300 yards Customer Service Good, if you can get past the language barrier. Similar Products Used: Everything |

Maxima 330
This review is for the new 330 not the 360 (which I happen to also like very much) Club: Maxima 330 9° (actual 8.5°), 0° face angle, 200g Shaft: Penley Stealth 70 Stiff, 45" finished length Other: Winn All-weather XF, 4g tungsten powder, D2 Tester: 12 hcp (though you wouldn''''t know it by the way I''''ve been swinging) 5''''8", 195lb, father of two, master of none Driver swing speed approx 100mph, med tempo Appearance: The Maxima 330, as stated many times before, is a beautifully finished club. The head size from address is very compact for a 330cc, consequently quite deep in the face. Heel to toe dimension is a touch small for my taste. Overall, traditionalists that fear the new oversized heads will find this head more attractive than most. The alignment mark is a touch large though it doesn''''t bother me in the least. The Bang P3 is also a very attractive head...a little ''''racier'''' while the Max330 is pure elegance. Feel/Sound: The club has a very solid feel on well struck balls. Like KZG PFT and MP, there is a feel of the face flexing and releasing on nutted drives. The head, I believe, is a blind bore so the Stealth 70 was feeling stiffer than it did in the last head I had it in. Off center strikes were apparent but not harsh in any way. Sound is slightly metallic but muted and solid. Performance: Frankly, I hit most high quality drivers a similar distance. Distance was very comparable to Bang P3, KZG PFT, SMT Shinnecock that I had on hand. Forgiveness is good, a little less tendency to fade than the P3 and Shinnecock but not as easy to draw as the PFT. Trajectory seems a degree higher than stated. I hit the 8.5* on more of a 9.5* trajectory despite the rather stiff Stealth 70. I had a slightly higher trajectory with the Rifle 75 stiff that was in it previously. Verdict: A very solid performing club with alot of appeal for those that are uncomfortable wielding a 450cc behemoth. Good forgiveness and length as most clubs out there of similar size.
