I have been using a callawy womans driver, and i couldnt figure out wht it contuied to slice i thought that i had fairly good swing and that i had been making good contact. My dad asked if i wanted to try his old wilson and i thought what the heck. I usaly hit it 190 yards, and when i first teed up with the wilson i hit it 240 and dead straight. If you want a good, cheap driver, then the wilson Dd5 is for you |

Wilson Staff DD5 8.5
I just bought this driver off E-bay for $ 24.99. I took it to the course and the first swing hit it 250 yrds down the middle. The rest of the round produced the same results with the longest drive 286 yds. I love the feel and I dont have to swing hard to get great results. I am 65 with a swing speed of app 90 mph.I play golf in Texas in the winter and this club is going to save me strokes playing the the constant wind down here. I saw the same driver in the pro shop for $ 299.00. Best 25 bucks I ever spent. Similar Products Used: Wilson staff 9 degree driver. Custom fitted 10.5 degree driver. Ci6 irons. |

A very solid driver that swings easy, sounds good and has excellent feedback. The ease of use with this larger head is great. If you can't hit this bad boy you have a serious problem.

Wilson Dd5 11,5 Driver
Well I’m really not the right person to review any driver… But I have to say that I just bought this used Wilson Dd5 11,5 driver this weekend… Yesterday I went to the range and tried it out… I’m really amazed by this driver. I hit it looong and very straight already now after I’ve been hitting only 5 dozen of balls.

Well i just upgraded from my budget dunlop driver and the difference is phenomamal, i used to hit about 190 yds, with this i easily hit 250,the noise is tremendous. This club is so much more easy to hit and it goes straight with a slight draw |

DD5 10 Degree Stiff
I keep trying to get rid of this driver, but it keeps finding it's way back into my bag. This is one of the best driver I've ever used. I'm currently playing with a Nike SQ Sumo and it's a great driver, but this driver still stays in my bag as a backup. It takes a more consistent swing to hit this driver well, but when you do, it's as long any of the newer clubs out there. The Nike just help me hit it straighter, but when I need to play it left or right, the DD5 is called into action. You can find this driver for a steal now, so why not? DD5 10* stock stiff shaft
This is a follow up review to my first review. This driver has been excellent for me. I have tended to struggle with consistency and hitting a ball with a little too much spin. I swing between 95-108mph with a pretty aggressive tempo. This driver has the flattest trajectory of any driver I've ever hit. I've hit the FT-3 (ballooned the FT-3 9.5 Tour, but that could've been a shaft issue), SQ (awesome feel, just need to work on getting a shaft), G5 (awful), Hi-Bore (awful), Orlimar HipTi 420 (high spin, but great feel and carry), Cleveland Launcher 460 (longest carry of any club I've hit, but it stopped in its tracks on the fairway) ...You name it, I have probably hit it. I think the workhorse of this combination is the shaft. I have been pleasantly surprised with the feel of this shaft and clubhead especially on a pured hit. I have tried using two drivers (not for left and right, more for up and down). I use this driver whenever I have to cut into the wind. It hits the ball on a mid, possibly mid-low trajectory and seems to be unaffected by wind. The one thing that I do not like about this club is the closed face. I have a very slight out to in swing so I tend to pull the ball more than I would with a square faced driver. I do not notice any problems with the internal weighting, though. It works for me. This club is more of a hitters club. It gives me the best results when I really go after the ball and it feels extremely solid. You definitely can tell when you miss hit the ball. Distance won't suffer much except for those extreme miss-hits. The club does seem to have a pretty pronounced sweet spot. Unless you are really able to work the ball. I don't think you will find a better club for going into and through wind. Even if you tee it up just a bit higher you can get a higher trajectory for a little more carry. This is one of the best $60 investments I've made for my golf game. Yea, thats right. $60 including shipping. These things are dirt cheap now. First of let me say i only tried this driver at a range. For about 10-15 balls. I love wilson and always will but they struggle when it comes to keeping up with other companys in the driver and woods areas. I hit this ball very very high and it was a 8.5 with a v2 shaft and could not keep it down at all and when i thought i did it would go up very qiuk and baloon up. And just felt very unconfertuble with it. Sorry wislon i wanted to like it but just coulnt get used too it. But..... I will always have you wedges in my bag your the best at that and pretty much the creater of it. but my freinds hit the driver pretty good so its probley more me Customer Service n/a Similar Products Used: Bang-O-matic, Tm burner, and R7,Hibore |

Wilson Dd5 distance Driver 8.5 degree
I'm in the discount market and tend to hit the ball very high (too high) off the tee with a 9.5 loft, as a result I was looking for an 8.5 loft. The Wilson Dd5 was $99 at TGW, is great looking and gives everything you expect from oversize titanium. very satisfied. Customer Service Ordered over the phone...CS was fine.
