I have been playing this driver for about a year, and have demo'd numerous other drivers along the way.
Customer Service I bought the D2 in stock from the club where I belong.
Similar Products Used: The D1 flys a little higher, but sounds like hitting a trash can compared to the D2. I didn't see it going any straighter or farther. |

This is a great diver for working the ball off the tee. It is a good driver for single figure golfers and those aspiriing to that level like myself. I have gained alot of confidence off the tee with this driver and my scores have dropped since i bought it. The Aldila VS Proto shaft is excellent. The ball flight is medium. The driver gives a very solid feel and sound when hit. Whilst I would not describe the driver as forgiving it is much easier to use than earlier Titleist models. The appearance of the driver is very simple and clean. Customer Service NA |

no offence ladies and gentlemen but reading permanently how this is a club for the better player and sinfle handicappers even make smy laugh. Golf depends to 95% on your swing and all the equippment will work well for you if your swing is on on the day. I am not a single handicapper and shot around 88-92. So according to the general statements here, not a club for me. I hate to say it but i have never hit an easier driver,. I tried a ton of them which are supposedly more forgiving and got no results. I am a long hitter and could always hit the ball around 280-300 but not consistently but with this club I have no trouble doing so. It depends what suits your game. I always seem to play better with equippment that supposedly is for the "better player". Golf is a mental game and if a driver looks right to you at set-up, chances are you can hit it better than a club Having said this. I obviously love the Titleist 907 D2 and won't mess around with any new drivers for some time to come. I bought the driver a few months ago and all what I can say is "WOW". I played in the last two years Taylor Made R7 Quad, Mizuno MX 500, Taylor Made R7 Super Quad. In comparison with these driver the Titleist is much better. Why? The ball fligt is awesome and penetrating, the length is incredible, the forgivness is medium. My recommendation is for 0-15 Hcp. The player in this Hcp area will have a lot of good shots and a lot of fun with this driver. Try it and I think you will be very responsive. All the best from Germany Similar Products Used: Taylor Made R7 Quad, Mizuno MX 500, Taylor Made R/ Super Quad. |

First off, I play titleist 680 blades vokey wedges and Pro V1. Have allways played TM drivers. Traded in my trusty R580 for a R7. The R7 just didn't work for me. I average 260-270yds. off the tee with a 85% swing. I can hit it further if I want to,but you loose accuracy. Just like Tiger can hit it 340 if he wants, but he is in the short grass alot more often with a 290-300 yrd. ball.It makes me laugh when guys say a driver adds 25-30 yards, they are a 14 cap and can work the ball left right high and low. If you are a 14 and can work the ball, why are you a 14 cap? Titleist is mostly for serious players, make out standing equipment that isn't suited for every one. I here that titleist has dead irons on previous posts. My 680's are tradional lofts. There PW is 50 degrees not 46 like other companies so on. This is why some do not like Titleist irons they do not get the distance they are use to. Who cares if the guy next to you is hitting his PW 150 yards ,I am hitting a 8 iron all day from 150, and its near the pin! This is why the average score in this country has stayed the same forever. Even though equipment and balls have gotten much better. Now that I got that off my chest the D2 is a nice driver that is very workable. I have a 11.5 degree and love it. It cuts when I want it to cut, and draws when a tell it to draw. All the major companies make good equipment that suits various types. To say titleist has dead drivers and irons is just unfair, and untrue. Demo a D2 you may fall in love with it, I did!! Customer Service no dealings Similar Products Used: TM R580,TM R7 quad. |

over the years, i've fallen in love with clubs with relatively low launches. this one has such a penetrating ball flight and is probably the best driver in the world for windy conditions. when buying the club, i narrowed it down to the two titleist models (D1 and D2) and the callaways. (never been a taylormade fan and their new drivers aren't exactly good looking). Interestingly enough, i was sure that the callaways would be longer, but found the titleists to match them in that department. For me, the decider was the awesome workability of this club. there really is no better feeling in golf than when u draw this club. Even though u can play around with your ball flight, the club is forgiving enough to allow you to easily control the ball path. |

Titleist 907 D2
The first thing that struck me when I lined up to hit the ball for the first time was the gigantic club head of the 907D2, the club head is so big that you feel that it is your obligation to try and smash it. This is where the 907D2 comes into its own - you can pile drive it off the tee and it is so forgiving (or workable depending on which way you look at it) that the ball will inevitably find its way onto your fairway, or at worst the first cut of rough. This is great for the straighter holes as you can crunch it off the tee an easy 275m / 300yrds and watch your playing partners struggle to keep up. But the 907D2 is not one dimensional, when you want a nice controlled swing to go around a dog leg the driver is very responsive without a large loss in distance. My swing speed is around 90, so not particually fast, yet with a smooth controlled swing with a draw I can almost drive the 290m par 4 at my local golf course. The 907D2 is very forgiving when you want to spank it off the tee and equally impressive when you want great control without the extreme loss of distance. I play with a Graphite Design YS6+ shaft in Regular flex and find the combination is great. This club is perfect for the scratch golfer to anyone to around a 12 handicap (mine is a 10.5 presently). Customer Service Excellent, my 905T cracked on the face and sent it away to Titleist and they replaced it with the 907D2 withen a few days. Service cannot be faulted. Titleist 907 D2
After hours and hours of reading online reviews, hitting demo clubs and trying different shafts, and then going to the golf store launch monitors, I finally narrowed my driving problem down to a combination of swing mechanics and shaft selection. I had made the self-help mistake of going to a stiff shaft to help control a tendency to push slice. My SS in the mid-90s seemed OK for stiff but the results with the shaft were disappointing. I finally got down to the proper shaft spec to suit my swing and then just had to find the right club head to attach to the shaft. I tried the various Burners, Cobra and Mizuno offerings and both the 907D1 the 907D2 with the Titleist Spec 67 by Aldila in R flex. Eureka! The D1 was just so ugly it was distracting my concentration. Finally with the D2 a set-up that feels good, looks good, and delivers consistently down the middle with 20 more yards. Thank you Titleist and Aldila. Customer Service Haven't needed. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made R7 460Ti, Titleist 905R, Big Bertha 454, Nike 400cc |
