I picked one up a couple weeks ago and I've added length and accuracy. This club is easy to hit (contrary to what some say) and gives you plenty of room for error. I tried a Callaway Supersteel but I hit it about 15 yards shorter. Great driver for a fair price. |

This is a great driver. I had always had problems with other drivers, slicing just about every attempt. This driver keeps the ball in the fairway consistently, with no major changes in my swing. I'm concentrating on straight drives, so I'm not getting super long distances, but I'm getting at least 250 yards on most drives. Definitely a bargain. I have never loved a golf club before this driver. I used to tee off with a 5 iron almost every time because I didn't want to role the ball off the tee infront of people. I could never hit a driver consistantly. Then for a birthday a golfing relative bought me this driver and I have been crushing the ball ever since. I still slice a little bit sometimes, but I almost always hit is 250+ plus. I usually hit multiple 300 yard drivers per round. Of course I swing very hard and sometimes pay the price, but this driver is a real monster. Perfect for people that like to crush the ball. I now have bought the matching 3 and 5 woods. The three wood is a normal (90) flex bubble graphite shaft and the driver and 5 wood are (80) which I think is senior or week. I hit all three really well and don't swing any differently. Get this driver asap. now. |

Taylor Made Supersteel Driver
The Taylor Made Supersteel driver isn't terrible, it just is a little tough to hit consistantly. I only started golfing last year and I immediately bought this club off of a friend...that explains the cheap price. I had a hard time hitting it, probably due to the offset clubhead it has (and because I just started). At this point I would have to rule that it is very unforgiving-I CAN hit the ball, however, if you don't hit the sweet spot you were better off not hitting the ball at all because you're ball has just sailed somewhere far, far from home. Then I lent the club to my friend-(a friend who swings harder than Tiger Woods nonetheless...*sigh* what a freak) and he hit the ball and the head flew off-great luck eh? No customer service, I didn't buy from Taylor Made. To make a long story a little shorter, I just got a ProForce shaft put in it...merry christmas right? I hope to have it tomorrow. To be continued... To sum it all up in a sentence, not very forgiving, not good for the new golfer however for the good golfer who likes steelheaded woods-have ats, this driver could be for you. Awesome driver. Was a little apprehensive to TM but saw my buddy hit the ball over 300 yards. SO I gave ti a shot and the club plays like a dream. As some reviewers saying it's unforgiving, I have to disagree. My main problem of driving is leaving the face open making the ball slice badly, this club solved my problem. Was looking for more distance than my old Warbird, and decided to buy this club after swinging it at a range. When you hit it, it has a nice low boring flight, but I found it unforgiving. It is longer than my Warbird, but too hard to hit. Similar Products Used: Callaway War bird, Mizuno TZiod |

This is a great club. The first one I bought was a regular flex and the head of the club broke off on the 7th hole. I got a mnew one in stiff. Every shot goes far dow the fairway. |

I have nothing but good things to say about this club. I hits straight and consistently long. It looks beautiful at address and feels great on contact. An absolutely great driver, especially for the price! Customer Service n/a (lets hope it stays that way) |

The Fat Shaft does work to reduce twist and as a result this driver is very straight. When playing badly, I tend to hit sweeping hooks but with this driver they are draws that often stay on the fairway. While perhaps not the very longest driver out there, ( I doubt if there is any one driver that is longest for all types of players) its consistently long.Ball flight tends to be high (my driver is 9 degrees) and the stiff shaft may not be stiff enough for those with very high swing speeds --but lack of torque helps make up for that. An excellent driver for all levels of play. Customer Service Fine Similar Products Used: Callaway Hawkeye, Great Big Bertha |
