The part of my game which has struggled the most recently has been my driver. I purchased this driver last week and on my second round was able to shoot the best round of my life, a 76 with drives that went straighter and longer than ever. I love this club because it is so easy to play a draw that it immediately will improve your game no matter what handicap you are. I had several drives that exceeded 330 yards and with my old driver rarely hit a ball over 275. I love the feel and the confidence when looking over this club and the added boost was just what i needed to put me on the next level of my game. great driver!

This club is remarkable. i bought mine with a regular shaft, 10.5. My buddy uses a callaway FT-9 and has a swing speed thats about 10mph faster than mine. i CONSISTENTLY out hit him 15 yards, when i make real good contact, ill be 25-30 past him.

its so well balanced, and very pleasing in hand. by far the best club i own.

Yashin must be one of the few people who want to be different and not like this club. I found this driver to be very forgiving and when you get a solid shot with this thing, wow! Great construction, amazing balance, a great driver!

I have always used Taylor Made Drivers. After reading the reviews on this one I felt I had to buy it.I believe itis the worst driver TM have ever brought out.I put the weights in the neutral position & offI went.I was 20--25 yards short off my normal drive & had a huge slice slice to the right. This is one driver that is going back to the pro.shop.

I did not see this one coming. I did not care too much for my Sumo SQ2 driver, But thought I would give Nike a second chance. After a few buckets of range balls. I purchased STR8-FIT Dymo 9.5 with an Aldila VooDoo xvs6 shaft. It has been great right out of the box. I yet to adjust it at all.

I NEED A LOT OF INPUT IN REGARD TO THIS CLUB. This club is 46.25 " long. I BELIEVE THAT THE ADDITIONAL SHAFT LENGHT can be a positive or negative thing.. Unfortunately, I DON'T SEEM TO HANDLE THE EXTRA SHAFT LENGHT VERY WELL BECAUSE MY SHOTS ARE SHORTER THAN NORMAL AND TO THE RIGHT.

IT ALSO FEELS THAT I MIGHT BE USING THE WRONG GOLF BALL.

AS FAR AS THE APPEARANCE AND THE PRICE OF THE CLUB, I WOULD GIVE IT AN EXCELLENT RATING.

AS FAR AS ACCURACY AND DISTANCE, I NEED SOME INPUT FROM TAYLOR MADE AND OTHER USERS. The overall performance of the Burner is terrible compared to my 45" TAYLOR MADE r7 CGB Driver.

I tried out almost all brand name drivers on the market before settling on the Burner. I can afford the TP version of the R9 with MWT and that’s what I was going for or the Ping G10. After trying almost all the brand names I was never afar with my present driver the R7 with the duo MWT. The salesman at one point said “well looks like your driver is as good as it can get”. To be honest while this is true I wanted (just being a man I guess) a new club in my bag. He brought out the ‘09 Burner in stiff shaft (my SS is around 90-100 … getting closer to 100 as I warm up and the season progresses). MAN !!! was I impressed. Keep in mind I was trying these drivers at a range OUTDOORS. The worse hook I hit (when I tried to “kill it”) would still be in play on most courses. Most drives which I hit solid was in 10y left or right. I don’t hit it very long to start with but I have given myself a good 10 yards + more with this. My advice is try them all out and then buy one. The best club for you is not what’s good for me or any other person even be it a pro. If you are serious about this game go try them out and hopefully you will find one that suits you … just like for me. Keep it on the fairways and greens … and try not to 3 putt.

I usually shoot in the high 90's. I have never been consistent off the tee with my driver. I just bought a used 07 burner online for $80 plus shipping and I can't say enough about this thing. I was using an old Taylor Made firesole driver before this. This burner is nothing short of amazing. I just hit a full bucket of balls and absolutely launched each and every ball. I have never done that before. This club inspires a lot of confidence. Even off center hits go a great distance. A+++++++

While at the golf shop, I was looking at the 2007 and 2009 ladies burner. What's the difference besides price and year? I was wondering if the salesman was trying to clear out old stock?

Also, this site is aking for a value rating, which of course, I don't know, so I used 4.
