Having just taken up the game again after a 10 year layoff, I was supprised by my progress. All except my drive. I hit between 280-310 yards, but they are all slicing almost every time. I have used a Callaway Hawkeye VFT, and ERC II, but the Taylor Made 360 is 100% the better club. I was using my ERC II, and could not stop slicing the ball, as my frustration grew, I took out the Taylor Made 360 that I had just gotten that day and had never hit before. From the first shot, it was straight and long. No slice at all. I could not believe how awesome this club is. Mine is equipt with a Fujikura Speeder 757 X-Flex shaft, and this seems to be the perfect combination for me. If you have any trouble with a wicked slice, go get this driver. It solved my main scoring problem in one swing. Amazing.

It rocks and is a very well made club. Anyone who doesent like it is probably four feet tall or has a weak swing. I being 6''4". Think its a dream come true. The clubs bubble shaft is much sturdier than others and lessens the slice effect from weaker more bendable shafts when swinging hard. Therefore if you swing like a man its the way to go. As far as distance just try not to get too crazy you might over drive the pin. Remember when switching to a new club there is this thing called "adjustment". You dont swing it the same cause its not the same club. So think about the fact your using a superior piece of fire power not the usual .25 calibur clubs made by other manufacturers. Oh yeah when you swing be sure to give her hell, thats what it was made for. You''ll be surprised and pleased with the results.

I love this club, I was sold on the ERC II then I tried the Taylor at a demo day and hit my first 10 balls long and straight, I thought it was a fluke and went back after an hour and did the same again and decided right there and then I had to have one.
The only time I hit this club offline it is with a draw which is very rare and I have never had a draw before.
No wonder this is the #1 Driver on tour.
Every one I have let hit it loves it to bits.
I used to have trouble getting height off my drives but now I've got this in my bag I have no problem.
Awesome club....go buy one.

Model Reviewed: taylor 360 8.5 prolite s

There are two types of Taylor 360s. One has the stock bubble shaft, and has a big time hook bias, and high launch angle. I was lucky enough to hit an 8.5 version with a factory installed prolite 3.5 S shaft. This feels like an entirely different club. The ball flight is a strong mid flight, and no hook bias at all. Control and shot despersion is very tight. If you had a negative experience with the 360 try a version with a non bubble shaft. It a much more solid club.

Overpriced, oversize and overlong.
I tried this and the 320. If the 360 is aimed at the less able player then why is the shaft so long? I have a very full swing and just couldn't keep this under control! The 320 is a much better bet.

I actually got a Wilson Deep Red as it was much more forgiving and cheaper!

This driver is just average. It is not as consistent and forgiving as I had hoped. While it did have good distance I just couldn't get a feel for it. I think the long shaft is the main problem.

Compared to the Wilson Deep Red the TM360 doesn't even come close. While the two had the same distance the Wilson Deep Red is much more consistent and accurate. In my side by side comparison at the range it was obvious which was the better club for me.

This club may work for some and I REALLY wanted it to work for me but it can't. Whatever you do don't buy this club without trying the Deep Red.

I now crush the ball off the tee. 289-320 yards. Sometimes it pushes a little right if gripped to hard. You can really let this club do the work. I demo'd the 10.5 as well, but for me the 12 was very forgiving.

Very poor experience with this club, the club is falling apart, face and grip. Not as long or straight as 975J.

Really avoided this club because price was so high and Taylormade had not produced a decent driver in quite sometime. Admittedly, I have improved my swing mechanics, but this driver is still AWESOME! I had heard that this model in the 300 series hit the ball very high. I almost bought the 8.5 degree, that would have been a big mistake. The 9.5 teed high hits the ball high, but very, very long and very, very, straight. The ultralite bubble shaft is 46 inches, but very stable. This version of the bubble seems to be stiffer than previous versions, but lighter in weight.I don't know what I averaged off the tee because I was so excited about being in the fairway and also very close to the whole. I would guess and say 275 to 280yds on average, but the bigger news was that it goes where you point it. You can work the ball but it very hard to do. The predominate ball filght is straight. I would imagine that for courses with lots of doglegs and tall trees , I could actually tee it real high and hit over the threes on to fairway. This driver is like none other. I tried the 320ti and its excellent also, but the 360 is is even more forgiving and longer.

I am 67 yrs. old and hit this driver 275 yds. straight. I am also a clubbuilder and I put a Grafalloy .370 shaft with a shim. This cut down on the height of the drive as well as giving me more distance. By the way Sam's Club has this driver for $299.00!
