Taylor Made 300 TI S 300
I played this club(with the S-90 tour shaft) the whole last year and decided then to switch to the R 300. I thought this has the same good feeling with a little more distance. But it has definately not, so i changed in January to a new "normal" 300 TI 9.5. after i tested some new driver-models. The speciality now: I put on a True Temper S 300 steel shaft, and i was very impressed! The accuracy is much higher than with the S 90, the distance is the same! I have quite a strong swing, and this combination really fits very very good. Don´t be afraid to use a steel shaft, it´s not that hard to play, i´ll tell you! So, if you have any problems with your Taylor Made-shaft, change into a steel. It´s not that expensive but can bring you very much!!! Customer Service no experience yet |

Taylor Made has come with an excellent driver. I was using Orlimar, but this is above by much.Only concrn is that I am using 9.5 degrees, and ball is ballooing too much for my taste. Similar Products Used: Orlimar, Titliest. |

This club really smokes! It is a cannon and has increased my drives by 20-50yds.over my old Ti bubble shaft driver(9.5degrees, S- 90 shaft). I am very happy with this purchase. The small-ish head still allows me to shape the drives, but it usually goes pretty straight or with a slight draw. I can fade it, without slicing. The 45inch shaft is a tour S-90 TM version, with lots of feedback. I need all the length I can get, but I figured if the shaft sucked I could get a reshaft; but they are shorter by about 1/2 inch and are stiffer. I could get a bubble shaft, but this one is grooved for my swing. The only thing I don''''t like about this driver is the headcover. You can''''t easily get the sock to stretch over the large head. Also the headcover does not designate a driver from a fairway wood. It''''s kinda like TM said "a different club for each player, same headcover fits all." Next to my friends, I am now out driving them by 10 yds. I ''''ve been in places on courses that I use 1-2 less clubs for the 2nd shots. The trajectory is medium-to- low and I get more roll even with the the Strata balls I use. This the biggest improvement over my old driver that would tend to balloon. I am now a great wind player, but I can''''t wait for the weather to warm up. I have a feeling I''''ll be hitting fairways with ease. I hope my 16 handicaps melts away, but only my putter knows for sure. It is great. And the price I got it for is a complete bargain. Customer Service Never had any use for them. This club makes it very hard to mess up. Even if I dont hit the ball as far as I would like on some swings, which is still pretty long with this one, it still goes straight as an arrow. Very forgiving and I can aim and tell you where the ball is going to go before I hit it with the TS-100 shaft. You should swing the 3 different shaft types (r80, s90, ts100) to get the best for you depending on the speed of your swing. My speed is over 100 mph. I like the smaller head on the 300 because it feels like I have more control and the ball doesnt get lost at contact. I would recommend this club for all levels of play. Real cheap right now!! Very easy and forgiving club to hit, fun too!!!!! Customer Service Taylor Made can be a little slow. Similar Products Used: 320 Ti, 200 series, Callaway Stealhead III. |

Ok, wow! I am a 15 year old golfer, I carry a 15 handicap. When I first hit the driver (I was trying a friends) I hit a bomb dead straight 285 yards. I was sold, I was in love. The sound is one of the best sounds I have ever heard. Before I bought this driver, I was using a Taylor Made TiBubble 2. I could hit that about 250-260 and would hit about 60% of the fairways. Now, I have had my 320 for 2 months now and I average about 280 yards and about 80% of fairways. I must say though, from what I have seen, if your swing is less that 80 mph, dont waste your time with this club. Finally, the perfect ball for this club that I have found is the Callaway Red Rule 35. I have hit numerous shots from just about every ball with that club and that callaway is the best I have found, with the V1 right behind it. So, if your looking for a good driver with monster distance, great control, and an amazing sound, go pick yourself up a Taylor Made 320. While I have not yet received my new driver, I have hit it several times at demo days and ranges and think it may be one of the best clubs I have ever hit. The ball sails off the face with a great sound, and my drives were going straight and about 15 yards further than with my Cleveland QuadPro Ti. For the prices this club is going for now, it probably can''t be beat. Similar Products Used: Cleveland QuadPro Ti, Steelhead, Ping iSi, Callaway VFT |

i took this out to bear creek g.c. last week and played the masters. on the first hole(par5 468yd mens) i drove it right past the trees on the left and ended up 160 out! that is AMAZING considering that i am only 13 yrs old. i nearly got on in 2. the problem was that they had EXTREMELY slow greens and i never reached the hole. i shot 44 that day for 9(sucky for me). i averaged around 260 with my driver that day and my other driver only averaged 235.DO NOT BUY THIS CLUB IF YOU ARE A HACKER, YOU WOULD SLICE THE HELL OUT OF IT! Was looking into replacing my old driver and had tried a couple of drivers. Tried 300, 320 & 360 but prefered the 300. I am now hitting about 20-30 yards longer than my old driver. My frequent fades are almost non-existent. The 300 is well balanced and is a very easy club to hit. Had a go with the Callaway VFT driver as well and was just as good. None I have been using this 300 series with with the firm standard shaft for about 14 months. It has been a great asset to my game. I am not going to say I have picked up 20-30 yards like a lot of other reviews, however I know I hit it farther since I play with primarily the same 15-20 people and I am now longer against the same players. I don''''t think it goes a great deal farther that my previous Biggest Big Bertha when both are hit well. I think the added distance is more from being confident with the dispersion and being able to go ahead and swing. The ball comes off hotter and produces more roll. This club has made a big differnce in my fairways hit and therefore in my scoring. My handicap went from 4 to 1 after I began using it. My swing speed with the driver is about 112mph. I would not recommend this club to those with a swing speed in the 80-90 range. They would probably benefit from the 360 series. I highly recommend this club. Customer Service Have not used as of yet Similar Products Used: You name it, I''''ve tried it. This is the best. |

None I demo''d the Taylormade 320 (10.5 degree) driver on two occaisions, both times I played my best games with an 85...not bad seeing that I average in the upper 90''s. I was totally impressed with the feel of the club in my backswing, and the crack of the club as it found the sweet spot. I was able to manage 14 out of 18 in the narrow fairways. Golf companions were so impressed that they asked to use it several times throughout the game. My current irons were given to me, but my best deal was the purchase of the 320 driver.
