Taylormade 200 steel Driver, 9.5 S90 rifle
I''m a confirmed steel driver fan as I find Titanium too vague and expensive. Previous drivers I''ve owned include Callaway Warbird and Steelhead and Ping i3 which I thought was the unbeatable standard for performance and accuracy... until the 200 came along - its longer on an average drive and when you middle it a good 15 metres longer. The larger head with a rifle shaft really encourages you to wind up and really let fly with a lovely arcing ball flight which seems to keep on going beyond any steaal driver I''ve tried and the the Ping is an absolute peach with a wonderful sumptuous feel off the face - its hard to beat and I''m a big Ping fan, but give this Taylormade a try it has to be the best value big hitting driver available. I love this club. Had a Callaway VFT and after 6 months, traded in for the Taylor Made 200 (10.5 degree, S90 shaft). Very forgiving. Seem to be able to hit it consistently over 250 and straight, whereas I could not get any consistency swinging the VFT. The steel is more comfortable for me than titanium and I don''t feel that I am losing distance. Given the difference in price, buying this club is a no-brainer. TM 200 Series Driver, 10.5 Degree, Steel Shaft
Simply amazing stuff. Traded in my 1-year old Adams ST driver for this beauty and am really blown away. Personally, I''ve been messing around with all this graphite technology stuff for a few years and now know I''ve wasted my time. First, the ball simply explodes off this new TM club face, the steel shaft also suits me better than the "whippy" Adams bi-metrics. Live and learn I guess. Second, I''ve never experienced such a straight trajectory from a driver before. The prices for these 200 Series clubs also make this a no-brainer. Keep the titanium and graphite technology on the shelf, if you have a decent swing speed stick with the steel |

Taylor 200 Steel Driver
Can''t say enough good things about this club. Very forgiving and fairly long as well. The feel of this driver is great when compared to most titanium models. This club is a real sleeper! I''ve gone through many drivers (Ping TiSI, Callaway VFT, etc...) and in my opinion they don''t compare. This one is a keeper. |

Taylor Made series 200 driver
I like to check out the latest technology, so I got one of these on eBay to try it out. I also have a TM 320 driver, so I compared the two at the range side by side. I couldn''t hit the 200 to save my life, whereas, the 320 seems to hit itself. No matter how I swing it, the ball goes like hell. I sold the 200 on eBay and lost 60.00 in the deal. Live and learn. Maybe it was just me or the 320 is suited to my swing, but that''s my impression. Maybe it would be ok for someone who is poor or cheap. TM 200 9.5 Stiff
This is a good, solid, easy to hit driver that helps keep the ball in the fairway. It''s a valid competitor to the Steelheads and even some of the titanium drivers. Not a bad driver for those who like the 300 series but not their price tag. No real weak points. A good choice for Taylor fans. After 6 months I traded in my Callaway VFT for this 10.5, S-90, 200 Steel. Seems to go as far as Titanium (Taylor Made 320 and the Callaway when I could hit it). Most important, I hit this club more consistently around 240-260 and straight. I seem to have better control with the compact feel of with this slightly smaller steel head.
