Srixon XXIO Drivers

Srixon XXIO Drivers

DESCRIPTION

Through exhaustive research conducted at the Srixon Golf Science Center in Japan, the XXIO incorporates technology designed to eliminate the tendency of the golf ball to drift to the right, which is normally found in clubs with large heads and a long shaft. The XXIO "Auto-Turn design also significantly increases the number of times the golfer will strike a more solid shot.

Maybe it's my swing, but this driver just didn't do it for me. Came to it with high hopes following the rave reviews in Golf World, but I didn't get great distance and the feel wasn't v satisfying either. Very light in the head (the club, not me!) and maybe this takes some getting used to. Looks to be very well-built club and the aesthetics are beautiful; glad that other posters here are so pleased with the club, but I just couldn't nail it.

I love it hit the ball farther and more consistante than my Callaway. The $150.00 I ever spent. I'll never change.

What a fatastic driver. I was very close to buy the TM 540 until I tried the Xxio . Very forgiving and sounds wonderful on the sweet spot. I have always been an Calaway man but I have a feeling that this club will stay in my bag for a while.

What an overpriced, overhyped driver. I have played with this driver twice and a few hours on the range and it just doesn't compare to some of the other drivers I have. It is inconsistent, has a cheap feeling and sound when hit. Distance doesn't seem that bad but he club is no fun to hit because of the cheap feeling. After the first use I had the shaft changed to a Grafalloy Prolite and still no better. I wouldn't recommend this club.

Customer Service

The customer service was fine. Its not their fault this club stinks. They never tried to tell me how good it was, it was my mistake for buying it.

From my very first hit with this driver I knew it was the club for me. Compared to other drivers I've tested, I found it hard not to hit this club straight and long. I'm not a big hitter but this club is on average 10-15 metres longer than my previous driver. The club seems to respond best to an easy yet firm swing. This means you can still get your drives out there without having to compromise consitency by trying to belt the cover off the ball. I find the new giant heads off putting so the 305cc head on this club is just right. Not too big and overwhelming, but big enough to inspire confidence at setup. If you are in the market for a new driver, this one will not dissapoint.
