I've owned this driver for the past 10 years (yeah I know... I should upgrade). It is a really good driver with a good feel to it. The sweet spot is not much compared to today's drivers though. On average I can hit 270 (with carry). My Ping Si3 is 380cc with a 9° face and a Ping stiff flex graphite shaft. The 9° face helps with the roll/carry so you can still hit it only 250 yards, but the ball will continue rolling and rolling down the fairway.

For 2 months i averaged 300m, so for those looking for distance this is the club for you. Unfortunately any drive sub 100% saw my ball bend as if striked by "Davy B". The 7deg loft ensures that your ball rolls on quite a distance which may help your short game. |

Have this driver for 3 years now, it has been solid enough to be kept in my bag while the newer drivers such as the R7s, 905s and the G5s have been introduced. I recently replace the stock speeder shaft with Harrison Pro 3.5 Titanium 65 S-flex trimmed to 44.5" The club cannot be any sweeter. Drives are straighter, longer, with greater feedback. Really like the old TiSi Tec/ Si3 look at the address and at the sleeve area. Hope they can bring it back in the future with a 400cc model. This is the best driver I've ever hit...bar none! It is long, accurate and most of all forgiving. I've hit Taylor Made, Orlimar, King Cobra, Titleist amongst others and can say that this is truly the best club for me. I had always had a tough time off the tee box with a driver, but the confidence this club instills is amazing. I've hit the Ping G5 and found that the Si3 has more of a soft feel and not much of a thud when compared to the G5. If anyone is thinking of getting this driver, it is worth it's weight in gold... |

I bought this club last year after getting my clubs stolen. I had a Ping TSI and really liked it so that's why I bought the SI3. From the very first time I hit this club, it felt great. This is a very forgiving club. I have tried the G2, G5, SQ, R7 and the Cobra 454 recently to see if I could tell a difference. To be honest the I couldn't tell a difference. The SI3 was just as accurate and long as any of the newer drivers. Mis-hits off the toe and heel still find the fairway. I have waited to write a review b/c I wanted to play with the club for a while. I'm 6' and have a club head speed 95 to 128mph usually average about 110mph. The last couple of times I played, I was able to drive all par4 that were under 330yds. I smacked one that carried around 350. I take a lot of clients and friends golfing and everytime we play, they still can't believe how long and accurate this club is. I am very surprise that this club didn't sell better. Good for me b/c I bought mine for less then $80. Customer Service n/a Similar Products Used: Ping TSI, G2, G5, Taylor Made R5, R7, Cobra 454, Cleveland Launcher |

Well did not expect much since the model did not sell well. I have to say great driver, great feel and weighting with a very good stock shaft. Slightly closed face helped my fade (no shame is some help here people!) Hits on a nice high and straight flight. Distance is up there with the best I believe. Have a larger head driver and prefer this one! |
