I first demoed the Hip ti and new that I wanted to buy it right away. Absolutely launches the ball and I gained 35 to 40 yards even after i ran my credit card! I have never been good at getting the ball up in the air and this club seems to do the work for me. It is also nice to finally drive 280-300 yrds.

Club head is quality but the stock Fujikura shaft is a wet noodle. The shot dispersion is too great with this shaft. Hit it side by side with the Callaway VFT Pro Series and there was no comparison. The best thing that I can say is that when your timing is perfect, it goes farther than any driver out there.

There are not enough superlative words in the dictionary! I''m lost in admiration. I have increased both my yardage and the number of fairwayhits. Slender draws or fades is the medicine. Just buy it!

I want so much to write a "good" review as these folk make great club-heads. I hit "pro-rockets" with their 12+ fairway metal (much more satisfying than my TiSi 8.5 "attache case"), so I obtained their 8.5 driver "on faith". The head is great, but the shaft design is for the 100+ shooter. The absolute HELL of it is that the head cannot accept an alternative shaft with a higher kick that would get the same trajectory of their above-mentioned fairway metal, which I "kill". I have gone to another "high-end" alternative; the fact that I do not name it will, I hope, add credibility to this. 90+ shooters who can''t get the driver "up", this is the club for you; it will do that and roll forever.

Played my first complete round with this club, after spending about a week on the range.

Long and accurate. Bad swings produced bad results (duh!), while good swings produced sweet results. Easily the longest club I've ever played with (285 +/-). I've been a McHenry Metals man for while, believing that there wasn't any other club that was as consistently long & accurate as the Tour Pure. Well, now I've found it.

By the way, did demo the 975D, 975J, Ping TiSI, Ping I3 and Wilson Red. Of these, the 975J was the driver that seemed to stand above the rest. However, when compared against the HipTi, I believe Hip just nudges the 975J in the distance category.

I may reshaft to something with a lower kickpoint as the stock Fujikura has a mid-kickpoint which is resulting in high launches. Prefer something a little more boring and penetrating, hence, the 4 star rating.

Do yourself a favor and demo/hit the club. You won't be disappointed.

PLayed my first round with this driver today. I hit some of the longest and straightest drives I have hit in years(270 yards+). This driver also has a great corrective feature which makes it hard to miss fairways on bad swings. I have been a Callaway man for years. This will change has I will be getting HipTi fairway woods when they are available.

Simply the best driver I have ever hit. As long or longer than the Ping TiSi, Taylormade 320 Ti, Wilson Deep Red, Titleist 975D and 975J, Adams SC, Adams ST, Mizuno, and Ping i3. Forgiveness is where this club shines. Only truly awful swings are punished significantly. Good, smooth swings are rewarded well, and less than ideal still fly quite well, with only a little loss of distance or accuracy. It's a lot easier coming into a par 4 approach shot with a 7 iron or pitching wedge from the fairway than a longer club, or worse yet, hitting out of a bunker or deep rough. This is the most predictable driver I've ever used, and the only one I've ever had confidence in hitting into narrower landing areas. If you are considering a driver, do yourself a favor and at least try this great club.

I got an absolute steal on this driver. I went in to this store to have my irons regripped and while I was waiting to be helped, I picked up this club out of curiousity. $225? Are you kidding me? I tried it out at the range and then immediately bought it. I just kill the ball with this driver - I was allready above average in length with my GBB (290 avg.), but I consistently fly the ball 15 yards farther with this driver, and I get about 10 yds more roll. Unbelieveable! The head is large, but doesn't look awkward like the Ping ISI, or the Taylor made 360. Orlimar is definately back!
