I got the driver for £100 in a clearout sale so about half price. I got the 10.5 regular stock shaft and took it out that morning. I hadn't warmed up and just went for it. I nearly also have a terrible tee shot on the first and without warming up, with a completely unfamiliar driver, I expected the worst. But the drive was straight down the middle and pretty damn long in comparison to any other driver i've hit. It just couldn't be sliced. Forget those pathetic Draw and Fade drivers, if you want to be able to work the ball as well as hit straight than get this. The one tee shot i wanted to fade did as well. Huge distance, literally unbelievable forgiveness, yet workable when you want it to be (ie. it will only fade when you want it to). Great club, please for your sake buy this not some "Draw" or "Fade" driver of a weight adjustable club. Similar Products Used: Callaway 454 and the TaylorMade r300 before that. |

Just bought this club for 199 and wow!!! what a difference it has made to my game. I use to hit big fades, and when i first tried this club I was actually hitting hooks. After one bucket of balls I was able to hit big powerful 300 yd drives. This setup is a dream come true. I am a big guy, 6 ft 4in, 260 lbs. with high swing speed, and i can really pound em out there with confidence now! |

This review is based on 1 round played. Let me preface it with the fact that 1 round is all that it took. I have played with just about every driver on the market. I have never stepped out to a course and had such instant success. I am not going to say that I added a ton of distance however I did find alot of fairways. I played in a charity scramble with this club on Saturday. I was able to step up and swing away, the amazing thing was that there were only 2 tee shots that i would not have been able to play, both were hit left. The first was on the first hole, the 2nd was on a par 5. Some of the swings that I made that day were even harder then I would normally have swung. I will take those results anyday. I am extremely impressed with the stability at impact. The club just seems to set up square when it is soled on the ground.

Overall out of all the drivers I've used this is the overall best. It has a great stock shaft(Stiff Diamana) no need to change it. It gets 15 yards to my last driver(r7 superquad) and is much more forgiving. I am a sweeper with my woods and I'd say this is great for a sweep swinger. If you hit this baby dead center it will fly forever, some times getting it over the magic 300yard marker.

Love this club. I demoed it at a couple of stores, hitting against the computer driving range and hit it well enough to pick one up. Finally made it to the range and love the club. My only concern is one I went into the test and purchase already knowing, it's difficult to shape shots. I came from a 350cc Nike driver and this really does blow the old one out of the water. It's very forgiving, but I can easily tell where on the face I've hit the ball which I appreciate. I'm a tall guy (6'4") and have the standard length which for me is suitable enough with a stiff flex shaft. I'd say I"m averaging between 290 and 300 which is about 10-15 yards further than my old driver, not surprising given it's age.

THis driver has helped my distande alot i dont reely have to much effort in to get a great result with this club but it is just like most drivers when it comes to hitting a bad shot. i seem to hit it about 250-270 so it is wel worth the money must buy... Similar Products Used: R7 Quad |

Nike Sumo 10.5 Stiff Diamana
I would like to start off by stating that this is not a miracle driver. However, it is a very good driver. If you have a bad swing, this driver will not make go away. All these jokers that hit bad slices and hooks and all of a sudden start bombing it 300 yds straight after buying this driver is full of !#*&. I'm decent with the driver to begin with. I usually hit a small draw and carry around 240 yds with a nice roll to maybe 260 yds. The Sumo did help with my tendency to go too far left. However, if I swung it badly, it will go out of bounds just like any other driver. The stock Diamana shaft is pretty responsive. Once I got used to it, I was hitting my usual draw nice and low. The Sumo may have added 10 yds at the most. A lot of people are recommending the Aldila shaft instead, but I'm not sure I would agree with that. It is a good shaft, but the Diamana was designed specifically for this driver. The Aldila is also designed for low handicappers. In summary, the Sumo is a very good driver if you have a consistent swing. I tried pretty much everything before I decided on this. Go hit a bunch in simulation booths before you buy. But I would recommend this driver to anybody. |

First time I hit the driver was on the course and it did not fair well. I was hitting it left and right. Next I took it to the range and hit a bucket of balls with it. Seemed to be going farther than my Taylormade 580. I then took it out to my home course again and was then bombing it on average 30 yards longer than my old driver. One hole was 360 and I was 40 yards off the green. another par 5 was 498 and I was 170 from the green. In a nutshell I think this driver is a performer and with a little more work I think it will be consistantly long and straight. It doesn't sound the greatest or feel the best but the results are amazing. Similar Products Used: Callaway X460,Ping G2 |

I have been testing out this new driver. I tried a regular flex with 10.5 loft. I found that I hit the ball to high into the air and I was looseing distance from my original driver (Nike Ignite 450cc 9.5 regular flex). I went back to the store and tried a 9.5 with a stiff flex (stock). I was told that I might hit a hook on my shots. I played a round with it and I was very pleased. The ball flight was a lot lower which is good because I am a high hitter and I had a lot more control when shaping the shots.

Won the Nike Sumo driver during a competition. It actually was the price for the longest drive which I won by using my Adams Redline driver. (still think it is strange to win a driver for a longest drive...) The Nike driver i won is a 9.5 degrees with a Diamana stiff shaft. I most admit I never have been able to hit any good drives (about 1 out of 10 goes straight)and tehrefore normally use a 1 iron of the tee. Unfortunately this new Nike driver is not going to change my love/hate relationship with drivers. I don't feel much difference with any other drivers i have ever tried. The sound is not that great. the distance is shorter than my Adams driver and when I slice it a little it goes even much more to the right than any other club i have ever used. So this driver will be probably end up in one of my team mates bag or will be soon on sale on e-bay.....
