Nicklaus AirMax 360 Driver
I went shopping for a TM 320 and after talking to the salesman I tried the Nicklaus AirMax 360. The club looked huge but felt solid in the booth. The computer indicated a significant distance increase over my old driver so I decided to take the demo club for a spin at the range. The results were amazing! Side by side, the AirMax drove the ball at least 30 yards over my old driver (PRIMA SST 12 degree, circa 1986) But the really great part was how STRAIGHT the AirMax was. Even on slight mis-hits towards the toe or the heel the ball went straight at the target. A thin shot went just as far and straight as a sweet shot on my old club. You really have to mis-hit the ball to get it to hook/slice. The only downside I can see to this club is that with it's propensity to keep the ball straight, it's not very easy to induce a draw when you want one. That is easy to forgive for me. I just use the 3W when I need a draw and use the AirMax when I want long and straight, which is most of the time. Customer Service I have no idea, haven't had a reason to call them. All Nicklaus clubs come with a 5 year warranty, according to the web site. Similar Products Used: None |

Nicklaus Airmax 360 10.5
Bought this because my dad was bombing huge drives with his. I haven't learned to use it yet, but when I did hit it somewhat straight, I flew it far. Much farther than with my other drivers. The sound isn't real attractive at impact, but the when hit properly, the results are great. Seems forgiving, but it's hard to tell since I can't figure out how to hit it yet. I've been slicing it pretty bad. However, the large head instills confidence and I tend to try to hit it harder. I think that may contribute to the slices since I don't have trouble with any of my other clubs. If you're looking to bomb long drives, give this a try. Keep in mind not to swing too hard though and to swing within yourself and you should be able to fly it far. Good bang for the buck. Fujikura shaft seems solid and feels more consistent than any other shaft I've hit (I have a Reg. Flex). I rated it a 4 because the sound at impact isn't very appealing. Other than that though, it's a great club. Customer Service n/A Similar Products Used: Callaway Steelhead, Callaway Great Big Bertha, Callaway Hawkeye, Cleveland Quadpro |

Tried out a Clv. Launcher and a Miz. Blue Rage. The salesman reccommended the Nicklaus to me. The Head was little bigger than I was used to (360) But it was light and felt pretty solid. Purchased the 10.5 Stiff Shaft. Drove a large bucket of balls and sliced most of them. Went back exchaged the club for an Offset regular flex, Drove another bucket and I couldnt be happier. Every shot except a few which had small fades, went long and straight. My swing speed is 87-90 so the regular shaft was a better choice. No matter how much I closed my grip I still sliced the non-offset head. I was coming from an old style wood driver (small head) I had no problem with the larger head. Customer Service N/A |

Unbelievable!! I purchase the 360 driver, as well as, the 3 and 5 fairway metals. I hit numerous 300+ drives, with very good accuracy, the first time I played with it. I am also getting 240 and 225 yards off the turf from my 3 and 5 respectively. This set of woods are the best i have owned! Similar Products Used: Taylor Made 320 & 360 |

I have been playing golf for 34 years and have tried all sorts of drivers. From the minute I picked up the Airmax 360 I knew that this was the driver I had been looking for all that time so gave away my Callaway Biggest Great Big Bertha and purchased the Airmax. My drives are now 25 yards longer (average 275 yards)and accuracy has improved by 60%. My handicap has reduced by 2 in just one month solely due to the new Airmax driver and the confidence it has given me. |

Tried Adams, Cobra, Taylor 320 & 360. The Nicklaus (10.5 degree reg. flex) gave the greatest distance and was the most forgiving for my swing. I have used my 3 wood for the past few years because the drivers I tried never improved the distance and hurt accuracy. This driver has increased my tee shots by 20 yards and is very user friendly when you mis-hiymade mis-hits still playable. It comes with a Fujikura shaft and does not break the bank compared to some of the competition. A Senior Golfer who was looking for more consistent shots and distance. I bought this club, with "A" flex. I've added 20-25 yards to my drive, and most of them sttraight. I then went out and bought the 3 and 5 fairway woods. Love them too. Customer Service So far, so good. |
