I had been looking for a decent driver for the last 6 months. I tested several notable brands and finally settled on a King Cobra SS427. I still had a tendency to fade my drives with that club but I figured it was the best club I could find. The day I went to buy one, the salesman to me "if you like the King Cobra then try this club " and handed me the Airmax 430. He swore that it was a better club. So I figured I would give it a try, it cost less than the Cobra and if I didn`t like it I could always return it. Well that was 2 months ago and I absolutely love this driver. The ball flies off this club high (10.5 degree loft)and straight. Distance wise the club is just as long as my old driver but now it doesn`t fade away. Just by being able to hit drives that land in the fairway has given me a newfound confidence from the tee box. Now if I could only develop a short game .

Model Reviewed: 430-S Stiff OEM shaft 10.5*

Most accurate driver on the market. After years of slicing and hitting high fades. This driver has me hitting straight. I even opened the face up and tried to slice It still goes sraight. Stiff Fujikura shaft is great.Distance about the same as TM360 proforce 65 reg shaft. Good Price Great Product definitly try it before you spend $300+ on big name driver

Oh...My...God! I am carrying the ball past where I used to roll it to. I would estimate that I have gained at least 20 yards. I went with the 9* which came equipped with a UST Proforce 65 Stiff Shaft. What a driver! Distance and Control like never before.

Model Reviewed: Airmax 430 Driver

Tried one of these on the Ping simulator along with several other drivers. Decided to pick one up on eBay and played 36 holes with it this week. This one was the Airmax 430 with 10.5 degree loft and a stiff shaft. I found it to be slightly shorter on the course than my Bazooka 320j (9 degrees, shaft reads regular, clubfitter says it tests stiff to X-stiff). Swingspeed with both on was around 98-105 mph for me, and carry was between 245 and 272 yds on the simulator, with longest two drives to the Bazooka. This seemed to also be the case on the course. I was very accurate with the Airmax-I didn't count, but I probably hit about 70% of the fairways, compared to about 50% normally for me. I tended to draw the ball a little more with the Airmax. A friend used it on 7-8 holes, and offered to buy it on the spot. Summary - I'll keep the Airmax in the bag for now because of accuracy, but go to the Bazooka with the longer, wide open courses. I'll experiment more on the range. I wish I had gone for the lower loft. I'll give it 4 stars, but it's probably a 4.5.

Great driver. Have been hitting a Callaway Warbird. Purchased the Nicklaus driver with recommendation of local golf pro. Hit the Callaway 250 - 280 and am now consitently hitting the ball 320-340 off every tee. Makes a big difference, especially on short par 4's and long par 5's. Great club, would recommend it to anyone!

This driver is awesome. I am in the golf business so I get to hit every driver out. I've been using a callaway great big bertha with the proforce shaft for several years now. I never found anything that felt as comfortable until I found the Airmax 360. It's about the about the same with accuracy if not straighter, but def. longer. 5 out of 5 on my scale

Wonderfull club. I was looking at the Taylor Made 300 series clubs and the store and they handed me the air max 430. it looked huge but it hits great. very forgiving. took about 2 rounds to get used to the size, now i don't even notice it. i used to hit my calloway steelhead about 230 very straight. now i am at 260 to 280 very straight. i am just amazed at how great this club feels and sounds.

This driver is awesome!! I used to drive the ball 230-250, now I drive 260-280 consistently. Ball comes fast off the face. I only paid $49.00, well within my budget.
