I had to have my Blue Rage reshafted. To me the stock Exsar shaft was too light. I was all over the place. The reason being I was over swinging because I couldn't really feel the club head. The reviewer before me stated he added head weight. I put a Proforce 75 S shaft in it and love it. If coule afford it I'd play around with a couple of different shafts to get the right one. My advice to you is reshaft the driver and you'll love it even more... if that's possible. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made 300, Nike Driver, Titleist 975.... Back with the update. I placed three Black Birdies (lead weight) at the lower back portion of the club head and everything clicked. Each weight roughtly equal to one swing weight increase. The feel is there. The trajectory is a moderate and everything is long, strong, with roll. I can also work the ball a little too. Best $203 ($4) for the weights. I have ever spent for golf. |

This is one of the best drivers I've owned.Very solid feel.Very long with a ton of roll.My only complaint is Mizuno's customer service. After hitting between 10 to 15 balls at range something came loose inside the head.Contacted Mizuno and they had me send it back to them.I thought I'd receive a replacement. What I rec'd was the same club back with added scratches to the face and heel in the same beat up carton. If I had to do it over I'd never had bought this club. Customer Service Very poor.It takes them up to 2-3 days to respond to any messages you send them.Sometimes you don't get a response at all.To me they don't seem to care about the customer. Great driver! It took me a while to get used to it but now I'm able to hit around 50% of fairways. (good for my skill level) Don't get me wrong this driver is very forgiving, it's just that I've never been a consitant hitter. 50% might not sound so hot but the distance I get more than makes up for it. When I hit this driver square, I'm usually left with no more than a 9 iron in. (265-300 yrds) Shooting a low score is nice, but there is nothing like the feeling of blowing it by everyone else in your group. Anyone else who tells you different are probably short hitters. This club cause a lot of problems for me first of all when I first tried it out it broke with a crack in the head. So I brought it back and didnt think much of it. Then 4 more hits on the brand new club it shattered. I brought it back again then I gave up on it and got store credit. This club is ok for the first 3 shots but dont expect this club to last long. Terrible Driver!!! Customer Service NA Similar Products Used: Cleveland launcher( GooD, Ping TEC(best Money can buy), Titlist 975D/J(another good) |

This driver is solid. When you hit the ball a loud "thwack" resonates over the golf course or driving range. The face seems hard as a rock, which I think is a good thing. I do not like the Nike Driver because it feels too hollow and sounds weird. The Blue Rage gives you a solid feel and great distance. The ball has a boring trajectory and you do get that extra roll. I've found out that if I try and unload on one the ball takes off straight and then after 200 yards it trails off to the right. But it will trail out of the fairway.... but that's my swing to be honest. Smooth swings will keep you in the fairway all day. I'm not sure if there is much of a difference in distance between drivers these days. It's all about what you like. If feel, sound and control are of your concerns try this out. Mizuno makes great golf equiptment. It's a shame more people don't know about it. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made 300, Nike 350 |

Simply the longest driver I've ever played. Used a CObra 427 earlioer in the year but made the switch based on my success with Mizuno Irons, Fairway Woods, and Wedges. Driving distance went from about 250 to 280. Not bad for a 15 year old kid generously listed at 5'4". Love the trajectory and the added roll. Very easy to work the ball although the fade can get away form you at times. This driver will stay in the bag for a long time as my handicap has dropped considerably since purchasing. went fom shooting in the high-70s to consisitenly under par. All in all, a great club Similar Products Used: Cleveland Launcher |

I never believed in the whole "new technology" thing with golf clubs until I saw a 16yr old kid hit this club straight down the pipe 300+ time and time again during a round I played with him. Needless to say, I went out and tried out some of the new clubs (Wilson Deep Red, Callaway C4, etc.), and this one blows them away! Everything you could want from a driver. Ball makes a thunderous sound when hit, explodes off the face, great trajectory on the ball and the best part, it rolls FOREVER! That is my favorite thing about the club. The roll alone has added a good 25+ yds to my drives. I used to be in the 260-275yd range on my drives and I am consistantly hitting near 300+ now. I had the club referred to me and in the 10 rounds I have played with it, I have talked two other people into buying the club. Do yourself a favor and if you are in the market for a new driver, AT LEAST try this club. You will most likely become a believer too! |

whatever "cor area" means, it's something good. the ball flys far and straight even on the off center hits. the sweetspot is amazing. i tried the taylormade 320i, and the 360i but these don't come close to the mizuno. Blue Rage 310 8*
Drawing the ball was a no no since it was a 8*. The ball quickly fell to the ground and rolled wide left. The lack of backspin is the culprit. Probably need to hit the weight bench for more muscle. Tried to adjust by hitting the ball on the up swing. This imparted even more topspin, which resulted in a quick landing and distance loss. I have a head speed of about 94 mph swing. For me, the best way to hit is club is to hit it at a slight descend or at the bottom of the arc for a little more backspin to keep the ball afloat. With this I was able to fly a bunker with extra 25 yards of carry but only about 15 yards of roll. The club kept the ball inbounds all day. Which is good. Lack of feel was a disappointment. I will continue to practice with my old driver and ditch my 3-iron so I can carry both of them (I don’t have a 3 wood but I have a 2 iron) to courses that requires some shoot making off the deck. At $199, this is not bad. Customer Service n/a Similar Products Used: Taylor Made 300 series. |
