Fujikara X-Stiff Prototype X-70 shaft 8 degree loft...Bought this club a few weeks ago... Straightest and most forgiving club I have ever used. Not to mention I reached green on a pin straight 312 yard par 4 in 1. The drive was about 309 yards with no wind or elevation. Enough said. In my opinion this needs the X-Stiff shaft for better than average swing speeds to utilize full potential.

I haven't even been to the course yet with this driver but could not believe the feel and distance. I am hitting straighter and longer than ever before. One of my shots hit the back post of the range - dead straight from the tee box - on the fly. The range length is stated at 240 yds. WOW. Excellent club - swings so easy. I didn't like the feel of the 400+ cc woods out there. This one is just right. TRY ONE.

For whatever reason I woke up and forgot how to hit my TM300 series Driver. Honestly, I never hit it consistent from go. I know it is all my swing plane! However, I play with MP14 blades for irons and loved them so much I thought I'd give their forged driver a try. Got mine at 2Nd swing for $99 so the value was great. Took it to the range and found that it really felt different from my TM310 9deg. This Blue Rage is a 10deg -1deg closed. It has a stiff shaft and you can tell. I swing around 97 – 102mph. The ball sounds good at impact—a real nice crack. I widened my stance at address to stay in position and have enough power at impact. The BR has a 45.5 length on the shaft. I had cut down my TM310 to 44 so it took a few balls to get used to the new longer length. All-n-all I liked the club. It wasn't like “wow howitzer.” It was like wow 210-225 straight, left and right of center in the air. Also had some roll at the end. To me that's what’s important. I want to stay in or near the short grass. I had been slicing my TM310 REALLY BAD. Even when I concentrated on a 7 to 2 swing path. I sliced the BR also but it just didn't float off as far. Out of 60 range balls on the first time out I sprayed 5 - 10 balls (slice) that didn’t go too terrible far out of play. I hit maybe 3 -6 left. Flubbed 1 having stupid swing thoughts. ALL the rest were in the middle or left or right of middle. I'm happy with that. I wouldn't say run out and buy the BR or get rid of the TM300 series I'm just saying if your fighting a slice and can play pretty well everywhere else give'em a try if your looking for a change. I don't have any buyer’s remorse. Once I play with it a few rounds I'll repost and give a total review.

Have had this driver for 2months now, and changed factory shaft to a Penley Tour Light Stiff flex. Took some time to adjust to this driver and now my average drives are much longer and staighter than my old driver (previous T-zoid Forged). Sweet feeling when you hit the COR zone and ball flies off the face. When it lands you still get a lot of roll.

I bought this driver in December, hoping to get a more forgiving club with a similar feel to the Mizuno TZoid Forged I had been playing. It has taken a while for me to warm up to this club, but I'm glad now I put in the time. While the club head and club face are larger/somewhat more forgiving, I initially didn't feel the same "bounce" on a well struck ball, the same heat. After some experimenting, I have found that while my very longest balls with the older driver are longer than this club, the Blue Rage has been very consistently long, and more forgiving on slight mis-hits. Teeing it a little lower has given me a huge boost in consistency of ball flight, averaging 280 yards total distance, with a little draw. Teeing it a little higher and ripping it gives me 300 yards total distance, with a baby fade. I also added 3 inches of lead tape to the hosel area of the clubhead, to promote a draw and add some weight, as it initially felt a little light. My club came shafted with a Fujikura Vista Pro 70, stiff flex, which I have found to be adequate, if a little light. I am now very happy with this piece of equipment.

I had an Olmar tri metal and I just could not get the distance I was looking for in a club. I went up to Nevada Bob's and tried it out and I seemed to like the way it hit in the store, but I really couldn't tell inside, because of the shot distance I had to hit. So, I went ahead and bought it and I don't regret it in any way. Not only I had my distance increased by about 25 yards from 270 to about 295 now. I am hitting it alot more straight and consistant.

Customer Service

They were real mannerable and were alot of help.

As with most Mizuno products, you need to have a fairly decent swing to get good result. The Blue Rage was good off the rack. After reshafting, it was very good. More forgiving than the Forged Ti, mis-hits still get out there 220-230. Solid contact easily carries 240-250 with a good amount of roll for me. Overall I've been pleased with the club, but anyone serious about their game, spend the extra $$ and get fitted for a shaft. If you're already keeping the ball in play and want more distance, this is a good club to try. I would not suggest it for a player struggling off the tee.

Customer Service

No issues.

Roll on Blue Rage! The "COR" seems to do something for the roll. I added 25 yards to my drive with this club. I was using Cobra, then Cleveland. This club looks good, sound good, and just plain stays in play with lot's of roll. I hit the 310cc, 9 degree about 275 yards everytime!

I play to a 4 handicap and play the Mizuno MP33 blades and I have tried practically every club on the market. This club is in a word the Best. Mizuno makes the clubs you just have to get to the tee - swing through and the club does on the rest. I averaged with my Tayor Made 320 around 270 - now I am a consistant 280 plus - straight and long and the roll at times put on another 20 yards. The feel is strong as is the sound. Super club !!!
