So I thought I was happy with my Hip Ti! Well, it is no longer in my bag. The 300S is a very special club. Long (Very Long), Straight (very Straight), and the balance of the club is perfect. I got the club on Saturday, but did not use it until the 11th hole on the Sunday. Just thought to my self, "Apply a nice swing and aim just down the left". The result was a rocket, straight down the left of the fairway. 12th hole, "nice controlled swing over the bunker at the 220 mark". The result was a rocket, straight over the trap, and landing in side 30 yards of the green. Every other hole had a similar experience. I just can''t wait till the next time I use it. Oh yes, the clube is the 9 degree with the tour stiff Acel a what you me call it shaft. I have no complaints with the shaft either, feels nice and solid.

I first tried this club with a rifle grahpite shaft. I couldnt hit it at all. It felt so empty (like a beer can). I tried it again today. This time the shaft had been changed to a Fujikura Speeder stiff shaft. It is the best combination for long straight drives. In the wind I was getting around 270 yards. It is not very forgiving compared to my Callaway Steelhead Plus and Stilleto II but gets around 10 more yards. Not worth the money when compared to the Stilleto at half the price, but a great driver for those rich guys

After reading several reviews about this driver I decided to take a chance and buy it.I have the 9 degrees with a Accel-Arc regular-stiff shaft it has more torque but it is perfect for my swing because it gives me more feel. The price is very high, but it is one of the most beautifull drivers I have ever seen, nice classic shape and clean cosmetics. Most importantly it does the job It produces a penetrating ballflight and it has a great feel when you swing it. At first you need to get used to it but eventualy you will be hitting the best drives of your life. The feel at impact needs a bit of getting used too. When you hit it in the sweetspot it goes longer then any (legal)driver but mis-hits go quite a bit shorter. It is easy to shape shots with this driver which makes it a better-player''s club. The best things about the Mizuno pro300S are the looks, the workability and the feel. It is not the most forgiving driver, but in the hands of a good golfer a deadly weapon.

I have been playing a Ping Tisi for the last year. I have played the 8.5 with a UST Proforce 65 stiff. I have been very happy with the Ping after playing Callaway products for sometime prior to that. I bought some Mizuon Pro II forged irons and fell in love with them so I starting looking at all the reviews I could find on Mizuno drivers. All reviews I read were very positive very few negative. It was hard to justify going with the Mizuno big brother compared to what the T-zoid forged cost. But I felt if I was going to upgrade from my solid Ping that I would go with the 300S. Again there are not near the amount of reviews on the 300s do to the higher price. I found a great deal I felt on Ebay with the shaft I wanted direct from Mizuno (a special order backed out of). My first day at the range very much concerned me that I had made a mistake. First the sound was very dead not the pinging crack you get from typical modern drivers like the Callaway and Ping. But I new there was a sound difference going in. I was able to get over the difference within a week. Do not get hung up on the sound difference. I believe truly that the complaints that some have written about feel are more about the feedback you get when you get that hard ping/crack sound on solid hits. I think that there is feedback not only in feel(hands/arms) but in the way it sounds. I got through this difference though it takes time to get through it becasue of playing modern drivers for 5 years now. I much more worried about feeling the club and it''s feel feedback that it''s sound. This club is the best at setup and appearance that you will find. I is like a newly polished car, perfect and appeaing to the eye. Head weight slightly higher than a Ping but feels more solid. The distance is slightly longer than the Ping but only 10 to 12 yrds. Distance is this big thing that you have to watch out for in reviews some claim 30 yards gain in drivers well that''s bull. I can hit a wal-mart special and still be within 20 yards of any modern driver. There''s no magic out there at all. It''s in your head and what you precieve about the club your hitting which allows you to make better swings which creates loner distances. I do however believe this is a little harder to hit than the Ping so if your 15+ hdcp than stay away. Solid swings will enjoy the distance and workability of this c

Great driver. Best yet. Long, very slight draw is its natural pattern. If you are looking at getting one, make sure you either get the Accel-Arc PRO shaft or a quality low-torque after-market shaft. The stock normal Accel-Arc has 5.5 degrees of torque, way too much for anyone except perhaps seniors, leading to some wild shots for normal speed hitters and above. The upgraded Accel-Arc PRO stiff shaft elimated this, leading to a tight pattern, and since it's lightweight too, it's easy to swing and get fantastic results. I also tried one with a Ei70 stiff shaft and it had a nice tight pattern too but the heavier shaft seemed to overpower the head and felt a little harsh.

This driver is long. Longer than my Titleist. I hit it on a more boring trajectory that still manages to carry quite a ways. It seems pretty easy to work either direction unlike some of the clubs out there. The sound is the only thing that is going to take some time to get used to. All in all a great driver. Just wish it didnt cost so much

I received this driver on a Sunday and left for Florida on a Tuesday night, never having hit. I was so impressed after my first round that I sold my 2 Ping drivers. This driver is so long and consistant that I highly recommend it. I was hitting some of the longest drives I have ever hit. This club looks good, feels good and delivers unbelievable distance. Highly recommend it is worth the money.

This club should be illegal! I finally found my thrill in this baby..It costs alot but worth it for all around performance. The head 300cc is perfect size and feels much smaller for us low handicappers that actually hit the sweet spot!..This by far outperforms any driver i have tested or bought..I also haven't changed out the stock stiff accell pro shaft and don't plan on it!..I feel for the golfers changing out shafts constantly and throwing away their money..you need to get a swing before you rate these clubs and their shafts..
