I bought 2 on Ebay used. One with a fujikara prototype still flex and one with the standard mizuno stock stiff shaft. I never believed all the hype about hot faced drivers but this one delivers. Long mid trajectory drives that explode of the face and roll alot once the ball hits the ground. Before I bought the 300S this summer I was using a 13* 3 wood and could hit my drives 230-240 yards. When I hit the 300S the ball goes 250-270 yards easy. Some drives go even further getting me to those par 5s in two. The "twack" sounds great. I also think the club is pretty forgiving for a high end product.

I love Mizuno High End Products. So I decided to give the Mizuno Pro 300S Driver a whirl. WOW! This thing hits rockets. I bought it Brand New on EBAY for around $200. It came with a Fujikura Prototype 70X shaft. The head is 9*. First off this club is absolutely beautiful. From the color to the graphics. The set up is dead square and very pleasing to the eye. When hit it draws attention just from the solid sound alone. Very easy to work the ball. Shots are low and penetrating. The ball sizzles off the club face. Definitely designed for a stronger player. High handicappers will hate this club. NOT FORGIVING! I've hit many USGA legal drivers. This thing is no joke. I love it.

NASA never built a rocket like this club produces. Not the most forgiving club, what more than makes up for it in quality of well-struck shots. Nixed my 8.5* GBB II/Vista Pro 70 for this in 9*/Proforce 65. Shots felt good with the GBB even when they weren't, shots look good with the 300S II even when the feel isn't like butter. On the screws- forget about it, picked up an easy 10-15 yards.

Best driver !!! I tried almost every driver. This is one is #1 for good player. For beginners, I recommend Titleist 983K or Nike 400cc. Originally Fujikura VP 70 stiff shaft was installed (I don't like this combo. bad feel and I would rate about average)Then, I reshafted with Fujikura pro 95 stiff. Then I fell in love with it.

I picked this up on Friday afternoon. This thing is DEEP!!! I have the Fujikura Pro 95 X Flex Shaft in it and this combo of head and shaft is DYNAMITE!!! It delievers a hot, boring, mid-trajectory flight with carry range around 260-270 and since the Fujikura is a low spin shaft, it was rolling another 20-30 yards. Very consistent. Very Solid. The sound is what gets me. Sounds exactly like a Wilson Staff Persimmon. LONGER THAN THAT PIECE OF CRAP TITLEIST!(I'm talking about the 983 series) Very solid and LONG. Very easy to control.

I HAD ONE OF THESE IN 2000 AND I THOUGHT IT WAS THE LONGEST & MOST SOLID (QUIET) DRIVER I HAVE EVER OWNED. IT FEELS AND SOUNDS LIKE THE GOOD OLD PERSIMMON DRIVERS WE HAD IN THE 70's & 80's. I JUST BOUGHT MY SON THIS ONE ON EBAY AND BEFORE I RESHAFTED IT I HIT ON THE RANGE AGAINST MY TITLIEST 983K & 983E WHICH ARE LONGER AS ADVERTISED. (10-15 YS). NOW I AM GOING TO SELL BOTH TITLEIST 983 DRIVERS AND GET ANOTHER 300S FOR MYSELF!!!

I have read reviews of this driver that it will hit 20 or more yards farther. I beilive that it can hit it 10 yards longer, but I though that it was ridiculous to gain more that 15 yards. I bought it with a Fujikura vista pr0 70. It is a little bit lighter that the driver I used before (Muzno T-zoid T3), but my god, this driver blasts the ball away and really far. I have hit the ball 320 yards (if the marks are correct). The sound is what I like the most. I have learned to hit the woods with persimon woods and I really really really like the sound of the persimon woods and not the nowadays dirver sounds which is metallic. This driver sounds the same as the persimon wood. So for those that are looking for a metallic sound, you will not like this. But this the forgiveness and feel is very good. If you hit the sweet ball you will feel as if you have never hit the ball, but in the other parts, it will sting, but not as much as other dirvers. I recomend this driver for serious golfers. I bought it at ebay at a very cheap price compared to the original price (around $500). Buy it now, because I guarantee you that you will never regret it (only if you will work hard to be able to hit the driver if you can't). It is the best compared to the drivers listed in te "similar products used".

Orginally came with a UST Proforce 65 stiff(which I did not like). I gave it all of about 6 months before having the club reshafted with a Accuflex Vizion (stiff). The lighter and lower torque Accuflex made all the difference. Where before I felt this club to be akin to swinging a 2x4, I now felt like I was getting my moneys worth(alot of money). Sure this club doesn't have the sound of some of a Callaway Great Big Bertha, but it is long. The club doesn't seem to be as forgiving as the Great Big Bertha, but when you hit it sweet, "How sweet it is". I have experimented quite a bit in an attempt to increase my drivers' distance and this club head in combination with this shaft are awesome!

Customer Service

I have not had any reason to aquire service, yet.

After buying the club I immediately re-shafted it with a Fujikura Pro 95 X-Stiff. The dispersion pattern with this combo is outstanding. With the 9 deg. I was landing my drives in the 300-310 range with good accuracy. Sweet spot seems to be just on the toe side of center. More consistent and just as long as my Harrison shafted 975D 6.5 Degree

Customer Service

I have traditionally had very poor customer service with Mizuno
