Model Reviewed: Cobra Ld Offset M

This past year I had thought about giving up golf and start knitting. I had been in a car accident several years back and my shoulder was not like it use to be, I have played horrible ever since, just couldnt get rid of slice I had obtained due to limited movement. But little did I know relief was just arond the corner. My golfing bud had bought a Cobra ld Offset M 10.5 deg reg/flex driver. One day at the driving range before a round I asked to hit it, he was reluctant fearing I might top it, but he let me hit it anyway. BOOM staright down the middle, great distance (more than I was use to) and easy to swing. Went the next morning to the loacl store and bought one just like it. I am not going to sit and lie and say I was 10 to 20 yards longer than my old driver, but to say how straight I can hit this club now with acceptable distance, try one and you will buy.

Model Reviewed: Cobra Speed LD - M

Being thinking about changing to a bigger head from the 440 SZ I've being using for sometime. Guess I'm a sucker for Cobra drivers, the moment the Speed LD series was released, my hands were itching to get one. Got the M series, which is more for slower swing speed and those who tends to slice. First round on the course with this with one practice in the range, I only missed two fairways with relatively easy swings. Great confidence at address, and I'm finding it difficult to slice the ball!

Model Reviewed: Cobra M Speed LD Offsett 10.5 Regular

I went to a Cobra demo day at 4.00 PM on Friday afternoon and at 5.15 PM I was the proud owner of a Cobra M Speed LD Offset 10.5 Regular.
I then used the club in my normal Saturday round and hit 12 fairways out of 14, the other two, including the very first, marginally off to the left. Distance was 10 to 20 metres better than my normal driver. I shot four strokes under my handicap and I couldn’t be happier.
I tried a number of clubs at the demo day and found that my normal slice was there with all of them except the M Speed LD Offset. The club gave me the confidence to make a decent swing without holding back for fear of a bad slice, and this together with the technology built into the club gave me the additional distance.
I bought the club because I didn’t hit a bad shot with it at the demo and this was repeated during Saturday’s round.
If you tend to hit to the left of the fairway and rely on the slice to centre the ball, you need to change that with this club and take aim straight to the target area and then trust the club. It works.
I needed to fade a couple on Saturday. The closed angle clubface looks strange when you open it up, but a deliberate fade is still possible.
I recommend the club for those players who lack confidence in their swing because of a tendency to slice.

Fantastic! I'm a fairly new golfer and average playing once a week. I didn't own a driver until I tried the Cobra. After testing this driver as well as Ping Rapture, Titleist, Taylormade R7- Cobra was the one for me. Only driver I hit straight and consistant right off the bat. Changed my game from the low 100's to low 90's in 2 weeks!!!

Good club. I'm 74 and was having trouble with ball going to the right. I tried Nike, Taylor Made, Titleist, didn't do too good in the practice net. The sales person suggested the Cobra M series offset. I didn't like tthe looks of the lay of the club.

I found the lay didn't matter.. the practice hits were farther and straighter than any other club.

I would suggest anyone 80 or above player looking to improve his drives look at the Cobra Offset

Model Reviewed: Cobra M Speed LD Offset 10.5 regular

Cobra happened to have their demo days at the local course over the weekend. I was at the range hitting balls before my round. I told the rep I was interested in a driver. We figured I needed the M speed. At first I tried the regular (not offset) driver. I was surprised how far it went , but I was consitently pushing it about 40 yards to the right about 250 yards out (I normally only hit it about 230). Then he had me try the offset. What a difference! I put 5 in a row at least 250 yards out right where I was aiming. I've never done that before.
If you consistently slice or push your shots off to the right, try this club. At the very least, it will help you recognize why your ball isn't going where you want. The whole thing is that it helps you square up the club face. Now, the only delema is: should I get the club and not worry about my swing imperfections, or should I work on my swing and deal with the fact that any mis-hit will be off to the right somewhere.... What to do, what to do....

One more note: I wasn't crazy about the sound of the club. My buddy next to me thought it sounded real good and loud, but I thought it sounded hollow....What do I know?

Model Reviewed: Cobra M-speed Driver

I tried several of the new model drivers (Cleveland, Ping, Nike, etc.)on a demo day at a local course. All the factory reps were there. My goal was to find a driver that kept me in the fairway, out of trouble. Distance didn't really matter. The last driver I tried was the Cobra M-speed 12 degree loft (I was disappointed in all the others, and hadn't even considered Cobra, but thought what the heck, as long as I'm out here). I needed a club that could work with MY swing, and boy, this one was it! Every drive was in the fairway, and distance was pretty good. The 12 degree loft produces less sidespin and the offset works with my swing. The result has been lower scores because I'm in trouble less often...and that was my ultimate goal. Thanks, Cobra!

Wow! What a club. I've spent a bundle on drivers but this is the tops. No matter what I do this club sends the ball straight and long. I highly recommend this club for senior golfers.

Stugled for 2 years with drivers (amongst everything else!) until I bought this one as a replacement for ping G5 (also offset 12*) and I can now strike the ball with confidence, only the occasional push / pull so think its me not the club! looks great and sounds awesome, this driver alone is helping me to reduce handicap! I recommend this highly for players with slow swing speeds (regular shaft) and how tend to see too much of the right side of the golf course!!
