Model Reviewed: King Cobra Ti Offset II 9.5

I have had an eye on this club for a while but had resisted the temptation, thinking it was admitting defeat to use offset in a driver. Well, this dummy should have swallowed his pride a while ago. My drives are now consistent draws with plenty of length. The ball flight is quite high, more than I am used to but the carry is excellent without any ""ballooning."" Actually, my confidence is such that on long par fives, I don't hesitate to take a good whack at the ball. Even on the hardest of swings with my hands more rigid and not rotating properly through impact, the offset will keep the flight of the ball to a fade at worst. I've always been a long hitter with a swing speed of 112 mph (long and into the woods, right that is). With this club, my regular swings produce similar distance as in the past, albeit resulting in a much better lie....in the fairway! But where I truly love this club is when I want to reach back and give it some extra. I seem to be able to call upon 300+ drives now at will with no worry of that nasty slice rearing its ugly head. Well, if others think I've sold myself out because of my switch, so be it. All I know is, after witnessing some monster drives first hand, my golfing buddies are trying to rule my driver as ""unfair"" and not allowed when $$$ is on the table......GET REAL. And show me the way to the bank!

I switched from the Big Bertha to the King Cobra and have added 10 to 15 Yards on my drive. My ball seems to explode off the club head without swinging hard. Keeping the ball more in the fairway and having to use less club for my second shot has reduced my average score.

I have been playing with a Callaway for a while now and having fair success with the driver but with the Cobra I feel as if the drive is no longer a concern. It is almost impossible to hit one poorly. The club is forgiving beyond belief. Get one and rip it. You will not be disappointed

What happened to my slice? For 30 years, I've been aiming left. With the King Cobra Ti Offset II 9.5, I am now aiming straight down the fairway and even getting the ball to draw a bit. Distance is great. Even mis-hits get good distance. I highly recommend this club to the chronic slicer!

Model Reviewed: King Cobra Ti Offset Driver

I just bought the Ti Offset w/Senior shaft three weeks ago. My driver was the King Snake 10.5 square model and when I was on, the ball was out to 220 yards but when I was off, it was behind the tree line. So needless to say the driver stayed in the garage most of the time. Now I have King Cobra Offset and the ball just rockets off the face. I get a medium trajectory and out 240-250 yards. Have had two out to 275 yards. A nice slow tempo to a balanced finish and the ball is out there straight as can be. At setup the clubhead must be kept square, if the face is allowed to close a bit the ball flight is between a draw and a hook. Of course this works fine when I need a draw on a dogleg or a long roll.

I have been only to the website, nice site to see pictures but no provision to ask a question.

10.5 Firm shaft. Don't buy this club unless you have a severe slice. My normal shot is a soft draw and I was hitting wicked hooks with it.
9.5 non offset. very solid club nice flight , easy to hit not as long as the Great Big bertha 10 degree

I used to use an 11 degree Callaway BB with erratic results - some left, some right etc. The 9.5 Cobra gives so much confidence it affects the rest of my game. Using this club I hit it straighter and much longer - consistently. It has already lowered my handicap by 3 shots.

I do not have this driver yet but am anxious to find a good deal on it. I hit it at a golf demo at a local course where they had other golf reps. They all had their version of slice busters. The Cobra went longer and straigher than any of the others.
