This is a great driver. It is longer than my previous driver (lots more roll than Ti Bubble 1) and avoids those pop-ups. Reshafted with Aldila as I didn''t like the performance from the stock shaft. Not quite sure why Cleveland discontinued this model (not sure the Launcher is longer and/or straighter than this one). For the money, probably the best driver on the market. I also looks really good.

Instant gratification, that sums up the Quad Pro for me. I had been using a Topflight Intimidator for a couple of years now and driving from the tees has been the weakest part of my game (due to a wicked slice). After picking up a 10.5 degree Quad Pro Ti with reg BiMatrix shaft I immediately headed for the range. After my first few swings I was thinking I bought a Game Improvement Driver! I was consistently hitting the back fence of the driving range with great accuracy (230 yards). With the Intimidator I would hit the fence maybe one out of 20 times and accuracy was just a random thing. Now my slice looks like a gentle fade. I have noticed that I can pull the ball a bit left if I am not careful (might be the 44” shaft). My focus on mechanics is much better now that I am not cursing a 90-degree slice all the time. This will shave 10 to 15 strokes off my game and a lot less time OB. I would recommend picking up the Quad Pro -$119 at Golfsmith, it’s a steal, if you don’t like it you can probably sell it on Ebay for more than you paid for.

I have tried them all in search of the perfect driver. I have finally found it. I tried out the QuadPro with the stock, BiMatrix and the ProForce shafts. I wanted the BiMatrix to win out because I thought the ProForce "Laker Shaft" would be too distracting. The BiMatrix, while very controllable, gave me too low of a ball flight and I lost distance when compared to the other two. The Cleveland stock shaft was a little to weak when I really went after it and I would lose the shot right. In my opinion, the ProForce 65 is the perfect mate for this club. I could take an easy controlled swing and hit it sweet and straight. However, this shaft does not wimp out when you really bear down and go for distance. I could not hit this club too far off target no matter how hard I would swing. I felt like the priest in caddyshack waiting for a lightening bolt when I tried out this club! At $159 this is without a doubt a steal. This club goes as far if not farther than the Taylor 300, Ping TiSi, or 975J and with more control. Save the extra $250 (or more) for lessons from a PGA professional. The only drawback is now we have to wait 5 months to play golf again in Pittsburgh. Hopefully, the magic will still be there in March. You should be able to find this club cheap on ebay. If you really need to spend $299 for a club, the Cleveland Launcher is also very sweet. However, I still prefer the lower profile (260 cc head) on the QuadPro. Good Luck!

This review is for the new Launcher wood with Fujikura made shaft (I don''t know the specs, but it was very light and as stiff as my grafalloy +35). Anyone know how to add a new model to the review list? The last driver I purchased, and the one I currently use is the Titliest 975D. I put in a Graffaloy Prolite stiff shaft and found this driver to be better than any other at the time, but a lot sure does change in 2 years. I demoed this Cleveland driver, not because I was looking for a driver, but I was trying out some new irons, and the dealer asked me to try this driver as well. I must say I was impressed. The set up, weight and feel of the club instilled confidence from the beginning. The club had a bit of a hollow sound to me (I think most of the new ones have a similar sound), but the result was far from hollow. I won''t say I gained a ton of yards, but a few, and the ball flight was better and more consistent than with my current driver. Its a pretty big club, but doesn''t look near as bulky as some of its rivals. I didn''t buy it because one, I wasn''t looking for a new driver, and two, I haven''t tried anything else new in a while. But, it was enough of a boost over my 975D to put me in the market for a new driver. I would recommend anyone looking at upgrading from a 2+ year old driver to take a look at this one from Cleveland.

Okay, read the posts and decided to give this baby a try. Went to Golfsmith found them on sale for $159. Bought it! Went to the course and played two balls. Tee''d one up with my 975J and the other with the Quad. First two holes, the 975J played best. Down the middle and long. The quad wasn''t quite grooved yet. Hole #4, the J went left (my usual screw up shot). Put the same swing on the Quad (decided what the heck, let''s jump on it) couldn''t believe it. It went a ton and felt solid. Long and straight. To sum it up, I hit more fairways with the Quad and was just as long, if not longer, on shots in the fairway. When my shots went wild, the J really went wild. The Quad stayed tame. Bottom Line. . . . I don''t know how much better the Launcher is, but this club is truly a steal, especially at $159 with the Bi shaft. The J''s going in the closet or maybe the auction block.

I have tried out my share of drivers and purchased many of them, but this may be the best of them all. It has a 330cc head and beta titanium face, with a Fujikura shaft (dark-gold color). The underbelly is chrome. This is a beautiful club. But it plays even better than it looks. The feel through contact is solid, not tinny. Feels like 975D with much more forgiveness and accuracy. Ball never seems to stray off course. It goes where you hit it. Length is its real plus. Had been hitting a 975J and a Bazooka 320J the past year or so, but this club has them both beaten rather easily. Man who sold it to me said it was the best driver on the market right now, and I believe him. Just hit this thing. And at only $299, it''s about a hundred bucks cheaper than the other top-notch drivers out there. Another quality product from Cleveland.

This is the best driver on the market, in my opinion. I have been in search of the "perfect driver" for some time and have finally found it. I have tested it head to head against many of the more expensive, newer "trampoline faced" drivers and it keeps beating them, hands down. I competed it against the Tour Edge Bazooka 320J, the Integra V-505 titanium, the Stilleto driver that has the infomercial on the golf channel, and the Wilson Big Red, among others. There is no driver on the market that can match the combination of distance and extreme accuracy of this driver. The feel, look, and sound of the ball at impact also add confidence. If you can find one, buy it. You will not be disappointed.

This is probably the last club I would have picked when I was shopping for a new driver. I demo''d one at a outdoor range and loved it. They wanted $299, so I looked on ebay and found one for $80 less. The bimatrix shaft is so much easier to control and I get good distance even though my swing speed is only 90 MPH. I average 250, but have clocked some 270 yarders. My buddy who is a big hitter tried it on the teebox Sunday and he hit a 300 yard drive without ever practicing with it. He said he loved the sound at impact. Why these drivers aren''t more popular, I''ll never know. Give ebay a look... there''s usually a few with bimatrix shafts. I had no trouble finding one. Spend less and get more club for your money. You won''t regret it.

I have just bought this driver, and I lover the feel, looks, and compliments from my foursome. I must say, however, that too many people read these reviews, and feel that if every one else likes it, they must too. For the people who rate it a 1 or 2, you should be only rating on what you feel it should be, not on how "dissapointed" you were with other people''s reviews. This is an amazing club for the money, and I am very glad that I bought it. I am a Cleveland fan, and always will be. Cleveland golf is, as I see it, the best kept secret in golf as we know it.

Customer Service

None with the driver, but for my old irons, they were fast and friendly.
