Model Reviewed: Cleveland Quadpro Titanium Driver 9.5 Stock stiff shaft

Have only been playing for a year with low quality drivers, and was looking to move up to a "real" driver, but cost was a factor. Was scanning the racks at the local Sports Authority, and saw the Quadpro at a reasonable price and couldn't resist. I checked out these reviews after the purchase, but before I was able to take the new club out to the course. The reviews set some pretty high expectations that have been more than met during the first two rounds of use. After a little adjusting of my grip and swing to accomodate the additional inch over my old "economy" driver, I started hitting straight and in the 265-275 range-- a 25 yd. improvement for me. On the second day, with a bit more confidence with the Quadpro, I actually cranked one out there dead straight to about 310 with roll, to the absolute envy of all in my foursome, who were hitting Callaway C-4s and a Ping. That may be a "once-in -a-lifetime" drive for me, but it is an awesome feeling to know that those kinds of drives are at least a possibility. Given my lack of experience, I can't say I have much to compare the Quadpro to, but I can say this: Hitting long straight drives with a classicly beautiful , smallish club, just completely demoralizes others in your group hitting those huge headed drivers 30 yds. shorter. Now that is one cool feeling....

I previously had the regular quadpro and over a year ago a special came on the quadpro titanium to make room for the launcher, i bought it immediately wiht a stiff graffaloy prolight shaft and it took my a week or two to become acclimated with it (The shaft) but after i figured it out i hit the ball beautifully, iwent from hitting about 230 to about 270, with about 15 yards atleast due to the club itself, when hit well it feels like butter, u feel miss hits but they are not harsh, i recommend this club to everyone, u can probably get it cheap now also, great club.

Model Reviewed: Cleveland Quadpro Ti 9.5 S

I've built a number of drivers for myself, and liked my latest creation a lot, but I'm always looking for more consistency. At the local shop one day, on a whim I tried out the new Cleveland Launcher and just for grins a Quadpro Ti w/factory stiff shaft (I'm a Cleveland fan... have a QP 3 wood and like it a lot). For whatever reason, I was hitting the Quadpro pretty much in the middle of the clubface every time, which is something I never do. That was enough for me. The local shops are all smoking something, and want $200 for the club... so that night I hit ebay and bought one brand new for $109 plus $10 shipping. For the money, it's great. I've given up about 10 yards on average vs. my homebuilt driver, but I'm in the fairway a LOT more often, and that's a good trade. When I tag it perfectly, it really goes, too (I've hit some of the best drives of my life with it)... but I'm not good enough to produce that result consistently. Grab one before they're all gone!

Customer Service

N/A from the manufacturer. The dealers need to wake up... trying to sell a discontinued club for double what it's bringing on the net is NOT the way to clear old inventory!

I have been playing with an original Big Bertha that I bought used in 1995. I didn't buy all the hype that each and every new club introduced was longer and straighter. How much can technology do to improve the same old swing? Well, I was wrong. I purchased a near new 9.5 Quad Pro with the regular Bi-matrix shaft and I've instantly picked up 25 to 30 yards on my average drive. Even the mis-hits keep 90% of their distance. I've played 4 rounds with the club, and my scores have already dropped into the 80-85 range. Unbelievable!

I bought a QuadPro due to a friend, he has the bimatrix shaft stiff and I have stock regular. What a difference. No wonder no one bid on the club. I can consistantly drive the ball 225 carry, but lose about 5 with stock (amazing how many people can drive the ball 300 on this site) and I duck hook with the stock more. I draw the ball naturally and wish not all clubs were draw-prone (I hate the Launcher with the 2* closed face). Well my point is I still think this club is amazing, but just hate the stock shaft. I would advise the bimatrix, but everyone is different, so test for yourself.

Great value. Good feedback on poorly struck shots. Setup and feel remeniscent of Titleist 975D for about 1/3 the price. Bought this club in like new condition from 2nd Swing in Chicago with the Grafalloy ProLite 35 shaft. When I miss it, it goes right on me (like all my shots) but will little loss in distance. When I do straighten it out, it goes forever with good carry and tons of roll. Can't say enough good things about this driver. Only complaint I have to date is that the finish, while very attractive, doesn't seem very durable. Only played 54 holes with it so far, and already there are a couple small chips in the dark grey finish. No big deal, though.

This club has been awesome. I am now confident in the tee box instead of wondering where my drives will end up. My distance has increased to 260-280 consistently, with occasional 300+ drives, which makes playing those 400+ yard par-4s much more manageable. The mid-size head suits me much better than the over-size ones like the TM 360s, and the lightness of the club allows me greater swing speed. Definitely recommended if you want to improved your game off the tee.

Model Reviewed: Cleveland Quadpro Titanium 9.5 with stock Cleveland stiff shaft

I wasnt even looking for a new driver until I started reading some the very positive reviews on this club. I am a huge Cleveland fan and recently got the TA5 irons with sensicore (awesome)and had an original quadpro stanless driver and strong 3 that were stolen a year ago, but loved both of em. I have been recently playing with a Taylor Made 300 9.5 with a UST Proforce 65 stiff shaft and hitting it very straight and about 255 or so, but wanted something with a little more pop. Hit the new Launcher and didn't like the "ping" hollow sound and not that long. So I was looking on ebay and saw the Cleveland Ti Quadpro for $66 on ebay--had to buy it, even if I didn't like it. Hit it yesterday for the first time and killed it. Easy to swing and hit the sweetspot over and over. Shaft is firm but has a nice mid to low kick. Hit two drives over 290 and averaged about 270 and didn't miss a single fairway. An absolute great club for the $$ and I've hit everything out there. The head looks identical to the Titleist 975D at 260cc. You can find great deals at ebay.

Every time something new hits the driver market I rush out to compare it to my Quadpro and to this day I have not found a driver I would rather have in my bag. The combination of feedback, feel, and workability is amazing! Get the shaft that's right for you and you can't miss! Literally you can't miss the fairway! I chose the True Temper Dynamic Gold X100U (steel) Best value around.
