Take my advice here, go out and at least try this DRiver. Once hit, I was 100% sold, and I haven't looked back. This hot witch is Long and forgiving. I thought that 460cc was just too big, but this Monster gives me confidence to swing hard, cuz I can't miss the sweet spot! I spend some major bucks buying, then reshafting Drivers, looking for the ellusive "Excalibur". Well I hope I've found her. I currently have the 983k w/ Fujikura 757, Ping Si3 w/Grafalloy Blue. The Launcher, for me, is longer more forgiving than these two, with the STock Shaft!! I am sold on this DRiver. Give it a spin, you won't be sorry. This club is one beautiful piece of work. Customer Service Outstanding. They bent my TA5's in one week, no charge. Similar Products Used: Titleist 983k, Ping Si3, TM 540, Waiting for the ERC Fusion. |

I got the cleveland because there were no more cobras available, and I'm happy it happened. This club is long and forgiving. It seems cobra sacrifices the 100% COR center for the say 90% huge SS face. So off centered hits fly best with the cobra. But for some reason the launcher managed to do the same, only keep the 100% COR in the middle and gradually fade it to the outside. Anyway, my dead center hits fly WAY further then the cobra, and my off centered hits are pretty much on par with the cobra. The reason I love this club is at least there's the CHANCE to get the 100% spot. Also, unlike the closed address of the cobra, the cleveland sets up square and is therefore way easier to aim. Cobra flies straight 5-10 yards left or right where the cleveland is more to just 5 yards. Almost as accurate as the Wilson Deep Red II I tried, only a LOT further. The only regret seeing cleveland "launch" and even more forgiving 460. Hopefully, I won't need that big a head to really crush a ball off the tee anymore. Customer Service Not used. JUST TRADED THE CALLAWAY BB2 FOR THE 460. I HAVE USED THE CLUB FOR ONE ROUND AND WOULD HAVE TO SAY THIS CLUB IS UNBELIEVABLE! IF YOU WANT A LONG,LONG STRAIGHT DRIVE, BUY THIS CLUB. VERY FORGIVING! TENDS TO HIT STRAIGHT BUT IS WORKABLE EITHER WAY! BUY IT, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! |

Cleveland Launcher 460
Bought Launcher 460 R flex with stock Fugi shaft after reading many positive reviews. Previous driver was Ping Tisi 11.5 degree stock R flex shaft and RSD hosel. Launcher is slightly longer but real beauty is tighter shot dispersion and forgiveness. Launch angle is higher but does not balloon unless ball is teed too high or swing is very steep. Club is very easy to setup and aim. Mis-hits definitely go farther than my old Ping and I am hitting more fairways. Bad swings with the Cleveland result in a fade, no big slices. (Hard to draw ball with a clubhead this large but straight and long is easy. Just don't overswing.) My distance is now a consistent 240-260 yds off the tee and in the short grass more often. Price was good value for the quality of this club and I am completely satisfied with the results. As I gain more experience with this club I expect to pick up a few yards over my old driver but for now the big bonus is the pleasure of hitting the ball "hard" with confidence and not seeing that occasional dreaded big slice. Cleveland Launcher 400, 9.5 degree Stiff
I've been reading all the reviews here and I can't believe all the B#LLSH#T. If you think this thing is the Holy Grail of Drivers' and it's gonna fix your messed up swing.....think again. To all the morons that have Swapped Shaft after shaft thinking that'll fix everything...you should have swung the thing before you dropped your benjamins on it. I've Hit all the new drivers this year, and the Launcher 400 compares favorably if not surpasses everything out there for distance. Only the 983K and the Ping averaged more distance for me, and we're talking maybe 5-8 yds on average. The 983K is the price of a good used car and the Ping..... well who wants to swing a volkswagen on the end of a stick. The Launcher is very Classic looking (you WILL learn to appreciate the Shaft Color), and No fancy paint job to chip. Distance is great and it's relatively forgiving off the tee. Give it a lousy swing and you'll get a lousy drive...Hit it on the screws and "YOWZA" The thing i like about this club is it's feel when you set up, it inspires confidence and consistency..... For the price you're not gonna find another club that compares. Customer Service Had mine 7 months now and it still looks great. Don't anticipate requiring Customer Service. Cleveland Launcher 330
Purchased the Cleveland stiff shaft 9.5D 330 launcher on sale at Golfsmith. The same day I took the club to an outdoor driving range and was immediately impressed by how easy it is to make solid contact with the ball. The club is easy to line up and you quickly feel comfortable over the ball. Hitting the sweet spot rewards you with a confidence inspiring ting and a ball that jumps off the face of the club. The 330 launcher doesn't have that same hollow sound that the larger clubs have. The ball flight seems high for a 9.5 degree club. Consider going a down a degree and try the club on an outdoor range so you can see the entire ball flight. I had hit about 25 balls when the shaft broke just above the club head. I expected more from Cleveland Golf. Golfsmith will exchange the club but is still an inconvenience. Hopefully the first club was just the one bad apple and the second will give me years of great drives and lower scores. Customer Service My experience was with Golfsmith and they quickly agreed to exchange the club. |

Didn't get on with this club at all, admitedly I only hit about 20 balls with it but I really didn't enjoy the experience. The sound the club makes at impact is too hollow for my liking and sounds like a tin box. I had no feedback through the club and had no idea where the ball had gone until I looked up. Compared to my Titleist 975D it just was not enjoyable to hit. Maybe it was the larger head that did it but I found it harder to find the middle than the 975. Not one I will be looking out for on Ebay. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Titleist 975D, Callaway ERC II, Yonex ADX |

Wow. If you thought the 400 was long, try out this baby. Ball is easier to get in the air and it just keeps on going. This whole high launch, low spin thing is accomplished very easily here. Don't overswing it. It goes forever. Customer Service Don't know Similar Products Used: All of them; and I mean all. |

This is the one! Unbelieveablely long and most important, straight drives. The ball feels like it explodes off the face. I wouldn't be surprised if this club isn't the hottest legal club ever. Just hit it and you will see. Customer Service Good Similar Products Used: All the top line drivers |

I have been searching for a driver that's right for me for a couple of years. This is the best driver I have hit. I found this demo club at Golf Discount in perfect condition for $140 and could not pass it up. I tested out the driver at a driving range before buying. I would highly recommend trying out anything before buying. It's very easy to get hyped up from all the good reviews and not making sure it's the right one for you before buying. Anyway, I tested the Launcher against the Titleist 975J. The Launcher is, by far, easier to hit consistantly and accurately. The Titleist 975J is a heavier club for me and not as easy to swing. The Launcher instills confidence and the sound at impact is sweet to the ear not like the muted sound of the Titleist 975J driver. The 400CC Launcher is next on my list to try.
