Cleveland Launcher Ti 460 Drivers

Cleveland Launcher Ti 460 Drivers

DESCRIPTION

Launcher Ti460 Driver uses Thin Crown Technology to make it even longer and straighter than the original Launcher 460. By adding new Thin Crown Technology to the Launcher 460 driver, Cleveland Golf designers have managed to take an already successful driver and make it even longer and straighter. The key to this driver’s renewed success is in the fact that 15% of the weight has been removed from the top crown of the clubhead and redistributed into lower and deeper locations around its perimeter.

Best Driver out there for Slicers, mis-hits go FAR and also Slices are more Fades :-).
Definitely recommend the driver.

Customer Service

TGW sucks, they would not price match. They dropped the price the next day after I bought it. They wanted to me to return it at my expense, never going back there.

I have been searching for "THEE" driver forever it seems. Unfortunately I overlooked the 460ti during my search in 2006. I had used the 460 Launcher with some luck previously but never gave the 460ti much of a chance until now. I find the cosmetics of the club understated and very clean looking. It has a perfect shape and sounds great at impact. I surprisingly liked the stock shaft very much. I usually opt fot the NV or YS shaft. The best word I can use to describe the performance is consistent. I have never been more accurate and more consistent with any driver I have previously used. This is a very very solid driver and highly under rated. It is so much better than the Cleveland Hi-Bore. The trajectory with this club is perfect not too high or too low. And best of all you can find this club for around $129 online. A great deal on an outstanding club.

I just got this driver about 2 weeks ago. The first week I had a few problems keeping it in the short stuff (hooks, and some rare tops). The stiff shaft will make you top while getting used to it, no big deal. After I got used to it, I started hitting it a mile, im talkin 280 yeards carry! Now I'm only 16 but I know a good driver when I hit it. This is the best driver i have every used. For me it does a a higher trajectory, but thats never a bad thing. With my old driver I loved to play a high fade, but this driver is built for a draw (im pretty sure the club faced is closed a bit). So my advice to you is to aim a little bit right, and cover your ears cuz' this baby is loud!

I am a Freshmen and play on the golf team. i recently traded in my taylor made R5 for the Launcher. i ended paying $110 for this driver. i also had the choice between 3 different shafts they had for the driver. it took me a week or two to get the feel for the driver, but after i got the feel for it i was averaging about 270-290 yards off the tee. when i mis hit this driver, the ball doesnt go to far left or right. within the first couple weeks i have played this driver, i have driven 2 par 4's with it, so i am pretty pleased with the Launcher.

Model Reviewed: Cleveland Ti460 Driver

At a golf show in March,2006, I tried all the drivers that were available.Hitting into a net doesn't offer much feedback as to trajectory, but a friend watching from behind told me I seemed to hit the Ti460 best. I started comparing drivers at a local range which has good equipment sales and are willing to let players demo clubs on the range.I tried Ping G-5, Callaway, and Taylormade. Again I hit the Cleveland Ti 460 best. Price was $250 and I was not willing to pay that much since I am a cheapskate, and my Callaway Titanium VFT was very playable. I had hit it for a few years better than any previous driver, but distance was 190 to 215, but straight; Then my local Target Store surprisingly got 3xTi460 in before fathers day, price $250. I stalked the clubs until August when it was marked down to $125 and immediately bought the 10.5 regular flex launcher Fujikura shaft.
I took the club to the course with every intention of returning it (Target gives 90 days on returns with receipt)if I didn't hit it better than the Callaway.I did and have ever since.Distance 215 to 240 but have had some 260/265 and straight. I am a high handicapper,20 index, and have a slow swing speed. The Ti 460 will be my last driver unless it gets broken or stolen; and I'll request it goes into the coffin with me.
P.S. Two weeks after I bought, Target marked down the remainig Ti460, 9degree S shaft to $65. I called my aforementioned friend and he bought it immediately and loves it.

Straight and long is the best I can describe this driver. I've done a lot of research and tried multiple clubs out. I loved the G5 but it was out of my budget, I bought a Tour Edge Bazooka JMAX QL for $149 which was a really nice club that increased the number of fairways hit but distance was not great. The Tour Edge broke and the vendor didn't have another to replace and just gave me instore credit. I purchased the Taylor Made R5 type D which was not very long and strangely very hard to control producing hooks and slices(I usually have a playable slice). I returned the R5 for the Cleveland Launcher 460 Ti 10.5 Launcher shaft Flex S. The distance and forgiveness are as good as the G5 and much better than the JMAX & R5. The only problem I had was I tended to pull my shots and had to aim down the middle or right side of the fairway instead of the left side with my slice. I liked the JMAX more than the R5, however the G5 had a graffoly prolauch shaft, the JMAX had a graffoly shaft and the Launcher shaft supposedly is similar to the graffoly prolaunch. The R5 had the Taylor Made shaft and was 9.5 instead of the 10.5 on the other 3 so those two things might have been the problem. I really enjoy my father in laws snake eyes Viper Ti-460 which he put together himself for $139.97 and would have purchased one if I had been given a refund. It is better than the JMAX, R5 and close to the G5 and Launcher

Bought this driver 15 months ago. Easy to handle club. Gave me more distance than the Callaway GBB II. Used to be 5 to 10 yards behind my buddies. Now either on par or outdriving them by a couple. I am averaging 230yd (carry) of the tee. Longest drive this year is 280yds (carry + run) with a strong wind behind. I normally hit a draw. The performance of this driver on the course means I do not need to look for another driver unless that driver can guarantee me 240+ yards.

I bought this club for $199.99 at Golf and Ski Warehouse in Hudson NH last summer. I had tryed it out at the range along with the Sasquatch, HiBore, and the R7. For me, the Launcher performed just as well as the R7 and better than the others, and the price tag was a ton cheaper. When I first took it onto the course, I was dissapointed by my drives, but as soon as I got used to the large 460cc head, my driving has improved a lot. What i find is that my distance wasnt much longer than it was with my old driver(maybe 10 yards), but it goes much straighter and is much more consistant. Now i whip it out on holes that i never dared drive on in the past. Its a high quality club for a reasonable price.

I had bought a 410 cc Driver from USA during my visit in Feb 2005. The Driver Shaft was Flex. and it broke in April. I had sent them the Club thro the Indian Rep and got the shaft replaced at no cost.
Recently on 3rd of September, The Shaft again broke this time near the Grip. I just wrote a mail to the Indian Rep. Mr. Rahul Khanna. He replaced the Club with a new 460HIBORE Titanium Driver. I am indeed very satisfied with the customer Service provided. Hats Off Cleveland.

I am finding the Club very good and amgetting used to it. I am Getting 280+ yards on my drives on a regular basis. Thanks a lot.

Customer Service

I am indeed very happy about the response given by Cleveland.
