Drivers should be laef at home, or better still don't bother in the forst place. Not this beauty. Forget the past, go into the future, hit that white pellet and watch it go! It doesn't even sound tinny when hit in the huge sweet spot. Try it and trust yourself. Customer Service Not needed. Similar Products Used: LAtest Ping and Taylor Made drivers |

Cleveland Launcher 460 8.5 Reg
Bought a 9.5 Deg on Ebay, received a 8.5 Deg. (mistake of the seller), 8.5 deg and Regular shaft : what an odd combination. I was ready to send it back, but finally decided to give it a try, that was a good idea, as I find out that it suited me perfectly. I have no problems to hit the ball high enough, even if the loft is only 8.5 deg, so I presume that my shots with a 9.5 or 10.5 would have been way too high. This corresponds to the characteristics advertised, Driver easy to hit, very forgiving, not the club for the scratch Golfer, at the contrary this is the driver for the mid to high handicappers, much more than the TM580XD which I used earlier. The Fujikura Gold Standard Shaft designed for the launcher works very well in addition to be stunning for its looks, there is hardly any difference in the distance when not hitting the sweet zone (not spot), and the sound is not too tinny. Everything I wanted for a Driver I have found it in the Launcher 460. Similar Products Used: TM Firesole, TM Supersteel, TM 320, TM 580, TM 580XD, Big Big bang 525 |

I test all of the new drivers at the demo center near me. For the last two years, I have not found anything I liked better than my Orlimar 315 Hipti with the Bimatrix rocket shaft. I have not warmed easily to the light big head drivers with the strange sound and feel they all have. But my pro really wanted me in a lighter driver and this is the first one I found that made me switch. I spent a lot of time with this Cleveland on a few occasions and this one for me stands above the rest. It has a really hot face with lower spin and goes a long long way. Seemed to be the longest of any of the other drivers. Like every drive is as good as the best. It really may have the hottest clubhead going right now. The deep face allows me to tee it up higher than my Orlimar and is a lot more forgiving on off center and vertically along the face. I like the slight hook face for my swing as it makes the drawn ball easier and I can still hit the fade just as easy. I even tried some pretty out of control swings using every ounce of energy I could put into it and the results remained consistent. But one of the big keys was the ALDILA NV shaft. When I hit this club with the stock shaft, didn't like it much. The shaft is so key to a good feeling club. I think stock shafts in many cases don't measure up. If possible, test drivers with upgraded shaft options. The clubhead doesn't need to match your swing, but the shaft most certainly does. Damn the winter, come on spring... Cleveland Launcher 460
I finally got over the psychological barrier of hitting a big headed driver on a recent golf trip in Aruba. Upon returning home, I set out to find the best big-headed driver for my game to replace my trusty Hawkeye Pro-Series 9.5 degree driver that I've been using the past few years. I found the driver of my dreams in the Launcher 460 -- I have compared it to my Hawkeye driver, the TM R540, the GBB II and the Titleist 975K. This club is so forgiving -- I have the 8.5 degree driver with the stock stiff shaft and hit it dead straight to a slight draw (although I am able to hit a cut drive when I need to as well). From what I've seen, I'm looking forward to hitting more of my 2nd shots from the fairway -- the club instills confidence. Similar Products Used: Callaway GBB II Titleist 975K TaylorMade R540 |

Cleveland Launcher 400 Driver
I traided a Crobra SS 360 driver in for the Cleveland Launcher after being fitted with a PGA Pro. I have used the club 3 times in the two weeks since it was purchased. The club is about 20 to 25 yards longer and it is easer to hit. It gives me the ability to swing away on the tee box and know that I will be able to play the next shot. |

Cleveland 460 Launcher
The 460 Launcher is awesome, long, controlable and forgiveable. Had been playing the TM 360 with the USTPro65 shaft and the Launcher is much longer and easier to control. After playing only 18 holes I bailed on the Cleveland shaft, reshafted with the UST Pro65, what a difference. The orginal Cleveland stiff was difficult to keep in the fairway. Switched to the UST and all the problems went away. The launch angle, distance and imparted spin are exactly what I have been looking for. Don't give up on this driver until you have replaced the original shaft. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made 360, 510 & 580 Nike 400 Golf Gear Tsunami |

Great drive ,long and forgiving had a taylormade R580. After using the cleveland will never need to go back to R580 which is a good club but the Cleveland is even better more forgiving and a lot longer. I am at least 15 - 20 yards longer and it is winter time roll on summer time. Similar Products Used: TaylorMade 580 , TaylorMade Burner |

I used a launch monitor to find the right driver specs for my swing. Having found the right loft and shaft stiffness, I then tested various models to see which one felt best and which one produced the best numbers on the computer (ball speed, launch angle, backspin rate etc.). The best computer numbers were found with the 460 Launcher and the new Ping driver. Both felt great and the numbers were similar. I chose the Launcher because it is bigger and more forgiving. I purchased the 460 with the new Adilia 65 green shaft, after using the 400 all summer. There is more consistancy with the 460 and a littel more distance(5-6yards). I have also used the 330, Nike 350 and the TaylorMade 320. The 460 is a better driver than all of them. Upgrade the shaft. |

In one word AWESOME! I've been using the first Great Big Bertha for a long time. I've tried various drivers for the last few years and none of them were any better than my GBB. Until I tried the Launcher 460 last week. I tried it out at Powerline Golf in Woodbridge, VA and was amazed with its forgiveness. Furthermore, I was able to work it left to right and right to left much easier than I thought it would be with such a big-headed driver. Best driver to come to market in years!!!
