While wondering through the local golf store I found a great deal ($149) on this driver and figured why not give it a shot for that price. Not to mention it had an X-flex shaft which I desperately need for my 120 MPH swing speed and is hard to find off the rack. Decided to take it to a tourney the next day instead of my Callaway FT-3 with x-flex Graffaloy Blue 9 Degree. I gotta say that I def like the Cleveland 8.5 degree better. The ball flight is tremendous and its easily 10-15 yards longer than the Callaway. Looks like I'll be keeping the $149 driver and selling the $400 one!

Just acquired the Comp, was using the regular 460 Launcher, and I couldnt be happier. I have added an extra 10-15 yards on my drives!

Model Reviewed: Cleveland TI460 Comp

I researched/hit the TI460 Comp Driver by Cleveland as well as others for about two months before finally buying one. My old driver was one of the original Orlimar Tri-Metal which I've had for years now and I knew it was time for a change. Mostly because I was constantly being out-driven by my friends on the course. Had the regular shaft on my old driver but moved to a stock stiff shaft on this Cleveland. After my first round with it today I know that I've made the right choice. Averaged about 15 yards longer off the tee but more importantly, very straight. I used to lose a lot of drives to the right with my old driver (not slicing just pushing) and now I actually hit where I aim. No more aiming left. Awesome driver. And for the first time, I had low score in the group! And it felt GOOD. I highly recommend this driver to others that need a little more distance but even more straightness off the tee.

Haven't needed anything yet and I'm hoping that I won't.

Model Reviewed: Comp 460 10.5* V2 shaft

I bought this driver as a backup to my Taylor Made 460 and my Mizuno Mp001 460 drivers. I always use 10.5 degrees of loft and then bring down the ball flight with the shaft. People say the Cleveland sets up closed but it looks square to me. Great setup and the head hides the 460cc's well. Looks like a 400cc driver. Head has a nice finish as well. I have a Proforce V2 shaft in my Comp and this combination is deadly. The 10.5 loft gives me control and the shaft keeps the flight down. Trajectory is perfect. No balloon balls. I love the sound of the Cleveland Comp. A nice thud and then the ball explodes off the face. I hate those drivers that cause your ears to ring after impact. Composite technology is definetely the way to go. All the comp drivers I hit have produced nice results. This Cleveland drivers is also very straight and easy to control. I can really go after it and not worry about hooking it. I can tee it low and hit a nice wind piercing fade or tee it high and hit an absolute bomb. I realize everyone's swing is different but this club works great for me. I don't know if it's any longer than my Mizuno or Taylor but it is at least produces the same distance or very close. I will favor my Taylor because I can move the weights around to hit a big fade which I have come to rely on in tournaments. I prefer to hit about a 10 yard fade when circumstances allow. I wish Cleveland would produce this driver with moveable weights. That would be the ideal driver. You can't go wrong with the Comp by any means. I will continue however to use my Taylor to compete but I won't be afraid to go to the Comp if necessary. Plus I will use the Comp when playing for fun with my buddies. Give this driver a try with a higher loft and a heavier shaft with a higher kick point(Near grip) and you won't be dissapointed. Proforce V2 is an excellent choice. This driver is also much better than the Hibore. I can't keep that club on the planet and I'm quite a good player with alot of clubhead speed. I lose that club either way right or way left. No consistency at all. The Comp is the best driver Cleveland has ever made.

What can I say about myself except I am the poorest good golfer ever. Untill yesterday I have been playing with a Wilson executive driver (Compressed wood). It for me has filled the driver position in my trusty bag since I turned 12 years old. (I am currently 21). So yesterday, I went with my first paycheck (not needed for food, rent, etc...) to buy myself a new set of clubs. After spending over three hours demoing drivers into a net (What can you do?) I came to a conclusion. The Cleveland 460Comp was for me. So today I went to the driving range and hit a few balls. Now, the best part of my game is my drive its always strait and always far and this was the reason I never changed drivers. So I hit my old wooden driver a few times to give her one last glory run and I was hitting good 280-290 yard carry (I won a long drive contest with this club a year ago!). So then I broke out the new Cleveland Comp. I stepped up and on my first hit I unloaded. This was my farthest drive I have ever hit in my life. The last marker on our local driving range is 320yards and I blew past it another 40yards before the ball hit the ground. So instantly my "Manhood" increased 3-4inches. All, I can say is I am glad over the years I never borrowed or used another players club. If I had I would for sure be in debt today. I am not sure that the cleveland comp is the best of the watermellon on a stick drivers (460cc). I can tell you however that come spring I am going to tour all the local drive contest and win myself some prizes!

This came stock with the Aldila NV 65 stiff, tipped and splined, 10.5 degree. I've hit and owned WAY TOO MANY DRIVERS . . .Thank god I found this . . . !!

I'd been hitting Cleveland TA7 irons and added the CG10 Black Pearl wedges . . . great stuff . . . played 'em for three years after owning a set of Ping Eye2 irons I'd played since '86. (I don't really change clubs a lot - so it better be good if I'm gonna fork out the cash) Long story short, my existing driver developed a hair line crack . . . so I went in search of the next best thing. Never owned a 460cc driver . . . learned on persimmons, so these things are big. My friend owns a driving range/shop . . . I hit everything on a monitor . . . hundreds of shaft combos with heads - four weekends worth. The Cleveland Comp had not only the best ball flight, but also was the most forgiving driver for me. I typically hit about 270 carry . . . I hit the Comp approx 280, but the accuracy and flight make this an absolute perfect driver for me. I have NEVER hit a driver with better feel, sound, forgiveness, workability and length in one combination . . . Needless to say, I bought it. They are an exceptional value new or used with the coming of the Cleveland Hi-Bore . . . which I also tested . . . the COMP is a winner . . . if you have any game, this will make it even better. I've now added the launcher fairway 3 wood and a Halo, playing all Cleveland . . . couldn't be happier and the handicap is dipping . . . !!!!

Customer Service

Excellent . . . service reps via phone are courteous and responsive . . . the demo day vans are great . . . had my club lofts and lies adjusted while I left them for the afternoon with the Van for $30 . . . great people and superior products. I won't change brands for a long time.

I'm writing this review on the Cleveland 460 Comp Driver. I purchased it with the 9.5* of loft and Grafalloy Blue stiff flex shaft. I like this club a lot. It has the traditional driver look, feel and sound. I'm coming off of the Callaway FT-3 Fusion Tour 9.5*, so it's nice to get back to traditional. The one thing I've learned from reading these reviews is that people want to gain distance over accuracy. The actual club head doesn't really do a whole lot for distance. If you look at it percentage wise, I would say the club head does 35% of the work, while the shaft and person split the rest. If you're looking to gain distance, then you have to have the right head/shaft combination. With that said, the only way to do it is to do a launch monitor test, try out as many different drivers as possible with as many shafts as possible. Give yourself the best situation to hit it farther by getting fit. I do not lie when I say I've hit anywhere from 8-10 drivers this season, seeing that this season was a big technological jump in club heads. Through trial and error I've come to the perfect club. This club with any shaft is very forgiving. The sound is nice and feel above all is key. Distance for me is not a big deal. I don't hit the ball far. I hit my Callaway FT-3 Tour about 265yds including roll, and I've been getting about 285 or so with the Cleveland. I have to credit most of that to the shaft, but this head/shaft combo is awesome. Do yourself a favor and try this club out. Make sure to use different shafts too with different flex. I've been swinging a Stiff flex shaft, but since Grafalloy shafts are stiffer than normal, their "stiff" flex really is comparable to an extra stiff. The ball flight is penetrating! Have fun!

Customer Service

Never had to use it.

My uncle left his launcher at my house so I took it out for a round and I loved it. It was 10.5 degrees and every time I went to look for my ball it would be about 50 yards in front of where I was looking, great club.

this club is one of the worse i have ever tried to play...for me it is anyway someone else might be ok...but THIS club sets up closed baldy might not seem like it but hit some balls you will soon see what am talking about...if you have a huge slice and wated to hit it straighter and longer then this is your club..i have two buddies one plays a power fade the other a fade they both were drawing the ball hard with there normal swing...its a great club if your swing suits it
