Cleveland Launcher 400 Drivers

Cleveland Launcher 400 Drivers

DESCRIPTION

New technology has made it possible for golf clubs to be more effective and powerful than ever before. The Launcher 400 has the technology of the original Launcher 330 with the added benefits that come from a larger clubhead. This great feeling driver produces a higher launch angle with lower backspin for more carry and increased roll, and also offers an increased moment of inertia which reduces the amount of lost distance on off-center hits. With these new technological advances come restrictions to keep the game fair and fun for golfers of all levels. The rules of golf dictate that a driver face can only offer a certain amount of spring-like effect known as the Coefficient of Restitution or C.O.R. The USGA has officially ruled that the maximum amount of C.O.R. allowed in a golf club is .830. The New Launcher 400 precisely meets this legal limit allowing you to post all of your scores. So, you'll be able to put this club into play in any tournament at any golf course and feel confident that you're getting the distance, the great feel and accuracy of the most technologically advanced club in the game.

Just finished my first 9 holes with this driver...hit every fairway! This driver is consistent...straight and long. I have confidence with his club. Very forgiving. It's staying in da bag. I also have the Cobra SS 427...which is going to be out of the bag. The Cobra is a little longer, but a lot wilder. I'll take long and in the fairway anyday over really long and in the left rough.

Model Reviewed: Launcher 400 with stiff shaft(9.5)

I went to golf town and tried everyone of there top drivers on their virtual driving range and this was the best driver. With my old driver i was hitting the ball about 220 now i am averaging around 280 - 290. The regular shaft is too whippy and is not accurate, the stiff is perfect and allows you to shape the ball to your desire. Also if you have a fast swing speed you will not want a 10.5 it will balloon like you wont believe, the 9.5 or the 8.5 is the way to go.

I've played the launcher 330 9.5 Stiff and it was a good club that I should have kept. I tried the Launcher 400, which really feels like the 330, but a different trajectory (perhaps R verses S shaft). The 400 launch seems better on first trial. Distance is equal to any of the 400+ CC drivers and it really come down to shaft and ball. I had to revisit my old draw stance to produce the power and accuracy from the 10.5 R shafted 400 launcher. When I did, I found the club to be long and straight. This is a great club for you average hitters - with the R shaft you'll will be sneaky high and longer than you expect. I won't brag, but it's long. Try the 10.5 R shaft if your swing 103 MPH. I'm somewhere in between and I tried the R for now with my club, thinking a re-shaft is always possible. The 9.5 can't be longer than this.

Glad to be the first one on the list. Nothing special to say, with this price, there's nothing more you should expect! If there must be something to complain, it's the shiny colourful shaft, and the non-cord grip.
