When I bought this driver, I was expecting a better trajectory(lower) than my Wilson Invex 10.5 .Results are= even higher than the Invex. I was expecting to hit more fairways with the Steelhead. = worse than the Invex. Similar Products Used: Wilson Invex, King Cobra Deep face |

I was a very bad woods player for the first couple years that I played, especially bad with the driver. I had this club during part of that time, but of course it was my mechanics that were screwed up, not the steelhead. After lots of practice I worked out the kinks and let me tell you this is one consistent driver. The distance isn't superb but it makes a sweet sound on contact, is straight, and is quite forgiving. If you don't want to shell out big money for the TiSi, Hawkeye, etc. etc. then this is the club for you. Great value. Similar Products Used: None |

This is a great driver if u hit it clean. When i hit it clean it flies, and another good thing is that it is forgiving. I hit it off the heel and still manages to go straight. I really like this driver and would recomend it to anyone. Similar Products Used: Daiwa, Infinity, Ping |

I have been playing for almost 2 years and I shoot in the mid 80's. This driver is not long but it is very straight. I hit draws and straight balls with a boring traj. Got the driver a week ago and just shot a 78 and an 80 from the blue tees on a windy championship course. If you want consistency off the tee than this is the driver for you. Best damn driver available. Straight and low for added distance. Callaway does it again with a great product. I'm not great at driving but have hit 265 yards on the fairway with this club. Customer Service Callaway........Excellent service, no other golf company comes close. Similar Products Used: Firesole, Orlimar, TM 320 |

I loved this club... Best driver I ever hit, then the face caved and the shaft broke off in the clubhead. Callaway's customer service was excellent. They are sending me a replacement Steelhead plus. I can't wait to try it. Customer Service Excellent customer service. My shaft snapped inside the clubhead and the face caved in by the toe. They are sending me a new steelhead plus, no questions asked. Similar Products Used: Big Bertha Warbird, Taylor Made Burner Bubble, King Cobra Titanium |

I really like this club. It has a really nice sound and gives me good distance. One thing that I don't like though is that it gives me a tremendous slice and I have tried other drivers and haven't sliced at all. I think it might be the shaft though so that's not too much of a problem. Overall-Great Club. Similar Products Used: TM Ti Bubble 2, Orlimar Trimetal (JUNK). |

I like the club. Although not as long as the Taylor Made, it makes it up in accuracy. I have been hitting most of the fairways, and i have been hitting out of the short stuff more frequently. Overall its a very good club for me. Similar Products Used: Ti Bubble 2 |

For a while I thought this was the greatest club in the world. Especially for the price point, and I submitted a good review about it (you can find it in the woods section - sorry). However, long hitters out there be forewarned, because you can expect a barrage of headaches on this club. I am on my fourth driver!!! I have caved the face in on two of them and on the third the head broke off of the hosel area. These where all from clean hits off the tee, one a little off center towards the toe, and I don't even use this club off the fairway, roots, or as a tree killer. I don't know if it's quality or if the club is not designed for fast swingers. Customer support was great; they replaced the club all the time, however, I think they are getting tired of me calling, but that means you don't have a driver for a week. In one instance it was two weeks. I suggest if you are a long hitter or swing very hard at the ball consider twice about getting this club. Obviously it is not designed for fast swingers and long ball hitters! Customer Service Excellent, great response, however delivery times where not fast enough Similar Products Used: Taylor Made Bubble Burner, Big Bertha Warbird |
