Great club for a great price. As you might know if you have seen my other reviews I golf quite a bit and by gosh if your looking for a straight and long club off the tee then this is the club for you. The only club that feels better are the Taylor Made Firesole and The Titelest. Similar Products Used: The Titanium War Bird, Great Big Bertha and the Biggest Big Bertha. |

I hit this thing long, low and with a slight draw. I've been playing titanium (which goes too high with no roll). Better than Taylor Made and Orlimar. Best wood I've ever hit. Customer Service I play x-12 irons. Broke one and had a brand new replacement with in the week. Simply the best. Similar Products Used: Orlimar trimetal, Taylor Made ti-bubble, BBB, GBB. |

I like this driver a lot. I have been able to hit it long, and straight. It's not as long as some of the titanium drivers I have hit, but it is more accurate and for the price you can't beat it. Customer Service My first driver got a dent on the crown plate, called callaway customer service and got a replacement sent to me in three days, with no charge to me. Love the relative smallness and feel of the head. I changed the shaft to a Grafalloy Prolite 35. Easily the best combination of driver head and shaft that I have ever played. I have hit this driver with more accuracy and distance now. Titanium heads tend to have much higher trajectory and can get caught in the wind. This club just rips right through the wind. If you don't like your driver, try changing the shaft first, I bet it may make a huge difference. Similar Products Used: Golfsmith TI 260, Callaway GBB Titanium, Taylor Made Titanium. |

Great club, I like how it's smaller than the other Berthas and if you are decent at golf, you should be able to hit it straight and far. I had an experience where with a Strata Balata, I hit it around 325 without swinging too hard and with little wind, I call them my ""Hawkeye Juniors."" |

I'd been having problems off the tee with my Ti driver, so out of desperation, I picked up a Steelhead 8 degree with the stock Memphis 10 shaft. I didn't expect much from the club. I just wanted something I could keep in the fairway. To my surprise, the Steelhead proved to be a fairly long club, with a boring trajectory. I carried it 240 to 250 yards (about 10 yards less than my 975D) and found I could work the club left to right or right to left. Very solid. Very dependable, inspires a lot of confidence. It's not the longest driver on the market, and I didn't care for the stock RCH 99 graphite shaft (though it seemed an improvement over earlier Callaway-branded ultralites) I found I could swing hard with the Memphis 10 and still control it. For now, the club is in my bag. Customer Service I've usually had good experiences with Callaway — unfortunately they seem very slow to answer e-mail queries. I'd like to know the specs on this driver. Similar Products Used: Titleist 975D, 976R; Great Big Bertha; McHenry Metals Tour Pure; Orlimar TriMetal Driver. |

I am a young golfer who needs a club that is forgiving and also has a perfect size look at address. This club isn't oversize like the Biggest Big Bertha. That thing looks like a garbage can lid. This club is the right size. I can make a swing that is marginal and still be in the short stuff. For me to post a round in the 70s or 80s I have to hit 10+ fairways. I get that with this club. I love the roll that I get as well. This is not like the Ping Isi where you are forced to hit the same shot shape every time. With this driver I can hit a draw, fade, cut, or reverse cut no problem. If you want a first class driver that doesn't cost $500, get a Steelhead. Similar Products Used: Ping ISI, Taylor Made Firesole, Orlimar Trimetal, Biggest Big Bertha, Titleist 975D |
