Steelhead plus
I bought the steelhead while it was on sale and I broke the club (It wasn't my fault). Callaway replaced it with a steelhead plus driver. It's long and straight (not much difference with the steelhead though). The shaft is only okay (but the callaway steelhead plus driver graphite shaft costs more than 100 bucks itself). Dispite its volume (204cm3), it has a large sweetpot and it's constant(in accuracy and in distance). Great club with great looks and great sound. Callaway Steelhead Plus 9 degree Steelshaft
This club is absolutely awesome. I have learned to cut down my slice and this driver has given me the confidence to consistantly drive 250 plus yards. Very forgiving club. Great distance. Great value for the quality of the club. I would recommend this club to anyone. Similar Products Used: Olimar Trimetal Plus |

Steelhead Plus 9 degree
This is the most expensive driver I have ever owned. That's not a lot to say considering this is relatively inexpensive compared to others. I got it for Christmas and have now used it for 3 rounds. I usually hit pretty long drives. With this club I can average between 260 and 300 yds. The nicest thing is that I can hit this club straight. The ball travels beautifully. I have a stiff graphite shaft and it is perfect for my quicker golf swing. It's very forgiving too. Similar Products Used: Cheep drivers |

11degree SteelHead Plus (EI-70)
Very nice club! This was my frist decent drvier and i love it! But i got it 2 years ago and it is a 11 degree and now i am going to buy a VFT because i smoke that driver all the time! Steel Head Plus is a great driver for anyone wanting a driver and not wanting to spend over $300! Mine has a EI-70 Stiff shaft that is soo sweet! Customer Service Well i started of with a SteelHead orginal the I dented the shaft near the hosel 2 times then on my 3 steelhead the face caved in! So then they gave me a SteelHead Plus which i like alot now! But Titanium is calling my name as my golf game gets better! I can say one thing, If i break this VFT i don't think Callaway will give me a new one! Similar Products Used: Taylor Made Burner, Different callaways |

Callaway SteelHead Plus 9-degree Steel Shaft
Just when you thought titanium was the real deal, maybe you should check out steel. Callway's steelhead plus features VFT technology and a low, low center of gravity. I went to the retailer looking for a Miracle steel driver as their called. I was dead set on a SteelHead Plus or a SuperSteel 250. Both are about the same price and both aree in the same category. The Callaway totally destroyed the SuperSteel. It was more accurate on mis hits, about 10 yards longer and had a more penetrating ball flight. I usually drive around 185-200 and with the callaway I was hitting 200-230 easily. I was dead set on buying this club but I decided to try out the Hawkeye model, just to see how much better it was. As I was testing I keep in mind the price difference, but when I tried them I forgot that the Hawkeye was $200+ more. The Hawkeye was more forgiving than the steelhead, and considerably lighter, The Hawkeye was only 5-10 yards longer but the Steelhead was about twice as accurate. This a great club overall, i'm a junior golfer, and a student so when I buy equipment price is a factor and the Steelhead plays just as good as if not better than those balloon on a stick Ti drivers. I recommend you try it, If your A good ball striker and want accuracy without giving up much distance go for the Steelhead, If you need a forgiving club get the Hawkeye. I am now going to buy the 4-wood of the Steelheads Customer Service A week after I got the Club I broke the shaft on it (My Fault) and Callaway sent me a whole new club in a week! This was an experiment that turned out really well. Went away from titanium and graphite to steel head and shaft. I special ordered this from Callaway with a Rifle steel shaft and Winn grip. I get a lot of distance from this driver especially on the roll. It is also pretty forgiving so my mistakes don't get me into as much trouble as before. I had my reservations about Calloway because of all the things I had heard about thier shafts, but since you can get Rifles, the best shaft out there by the way, I would recomend this without hesitation. A great club for someone looking for top notch equipment without the top notch price. Sounds kinda funny to say that about Calloway, doesn't it? Customer Service They said it would take two weeks to fill my special order. They were dead on the money. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made Bubble Burner 2, Callaway Hawkeye,Tour Edge Bazooka |

When I first got this club, I was loving it. I Hit it straight and far, with a low boring trajectory. I was a regular flex, but over the winter my swing speed increased so it is too wippy for me now. Overall, I feel that Callaway could have put a larger clubhead for the driver, and that the VFT technology is great, but only if impact is near the sweetspot. Also, I think that with today's larger and more forgiving titanium drivers in popularity, the Steelhead plus doesn't compare to clubs like the Titleist 975D, Taylor Made 300's and Ping TISI. Overall, an average club, I most likely won't have it for much longer. Customer Service Callaway is known as a friendly company, but needs to think about better players if they want their clubs on tour more frequently Similar Products Used: Titleist 975D, Hawkeye, Hawkeye VFT, Taylor Made 320, Ping TISI |
