Hawkeye Pro Series 8.5 RCH Pro 4.0
I have tried every (almost) Callaway driver and this is clearly the best for me. I have had a Warbird, Steelhead, Steelhead Plus, a Great Big Bertha, Biggest Big Bertha, Hawkeye, and Hawkeye VFT. The Hawkeye Pro Series is great - easy to hit, semi-forgiving, and LONG! It has the piiing sound of a Steelhead Plus, the size in between a GBB and BBB, and hit the ball straight, unlike the new VFT. The last driver I had, a 9 Deg. VFT, helped me hook the ball terribly. The BBB was very forgiving, but very tempermental, the GBB was smallish and tinny. This Pro Series Hawk Eye keeps my hook straight - straight over the 250 sign at the range and straigh down the fairway. I have the 4.0 RCH Pro Series shaft, regular to firm shaft with mid kick, and I swing at 100 mph. The club just feels right, for me at least. Customer Service Always Great! Fantastic Driver. Reshafted with proforce golf 75 and I can't keep it out of the fairway. Smooth swing after smooth swing puts it out there about 250-260. Glad my 975D is in the closet. Similar Products Used: None |

This is a good club. I like the tungsten weight. It gives it a nice fade-corrective ball flight. The shaft is better than the GBB. The heads are almost identical. If you hit it on the money you get a very penetrating ball flight with great distance. Try one out yourself. |

Great club...good distance. Improved my yardage, a 16 year old, from an average of 200 to about 255. I love it. It helped me improve my handicap from an 8.4 to a 1.2 in only 3 months! Customer Service They go all out to help you improve. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made Burner Bubble |

This driver is the worst I have ever played. It gives me a hook everytime and has the same distance as my Taylor Made Burner(steel head). It gives no improvment in accuracy or distance so don't waste the money...marbles Similar Products Used: Taylor Made Burner |

The Hawkeye is a driver that performs beautifully. The tungsten screw works its magic by giving the ball that nice right to left ball flight or as some call it a 'draw.' The forgiveness is typical of a Callaway club, you call hit off-center shots without worrying too much about loss of distance or unweildy shots. The price is a bit much though. Callaway should bring it down a little. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made Firesole (great) |

Not only is it all of those things, but if your like me, feel is almost as important or more so than the other stats, and I can honestly say that this is the best feeling and sounding driver that I have ever hit, And I have hit many. This club is a beautiful thing. I tried it out at the local shop and hit a few. They were going almost 300 yards every time. I would recommend this club to anyone. It is forgiving and helps prevent slice and hooks. I bought it the next day. Similar Products Used: taylor made firesole, ping ti si, titleist, most everything |
