This driver is very easy to hit and provide more than average distance. The draw bias club head may help players who normally hit a fade. Overall, a great club!

Customer Service

Some pieces of epoxy came loose and fell inside the clubhead. It was fixed for free.

Geez, I'm back with a Callaway, again! There's definitely sumthin' about them, tho.

This is a really good driver and now available at a very competitive price. Haven't tried the VFT and don't intend to. My Hawkeye Pro Series 8.5 with a UST 75 x-stiff puts the ball straight out and around 280 avg. Sometimes a little shorter, mostly a little longer. Sometimes in rough but rarely in the trees. If anything, the odd hard hook, but that's my problem. Mostly straight or a gentle draw. Nice sound. Nice looking at address and easy to line up. First time I played it was 3 weeks ago, I eagled a long par 4 with Driver-9 iron. Enough said. Buy it if you like to hit aggressively, but also be prepared to replace the stock shaft. I tried this driver last year with the stock 3.2 and found it was erratic.

Customer Service

The gold standard in customer service. Bar none. Shattered the shaft on my Warbird and had a new driver right from the retailer. Took about 5 minutes. He knew Callaway wouldn't give him a hard time.

I didn't see a place to put my review for the Pro Series Driver, so I am going to do it here.

Initially, I really liked the look and feel of the Callaway Pro Series 9.5 driver, with the 3.1 Torque Silver Graphite Shaft. I only hit it into a net, never on a driving range, but I liked the feel so much, I wanted one.

After hitting hundreds of balls with it and playing about a dozen rounds, this is what I found: The ball has a tendency to balloon if you are playing in any wind at all and hit the ball solid. The ball rockets off the face, if you hit it sweet, but feels absolutely awful if you hit it on the toe or heel. I hit some 300 + yard drives with it, but I also hit a few drives that left me scratching my head, wondering what I did wrong. I think this club would be better with a different shaft. With the stock 3.1 Silver Graphite, it is just too inconsistent.

I got a good deal on this club and I am soooo glad I did not pay orginial retail (Around $430). Plus, after owning it for 2 months, the crown on the top of the club fractured and I am in the process of returning it and getting another driver. I think I am done with Callaway clubs and will probably go with the Mizuno Forged Titanium or the Ping i3 Steel.

Customer Service

Am in the process of returning the above mentioned club. So far the customer service has been pretty good. I will have to see what kinda service I get after they take a look at the crack on the top of the club after they get it.

Tried several drivers (975D/R, TM, Hawkeye non-Pro) before deciding between the Ping TiSi and this Hawkeye Pro Series 9.5 w/3.1 shaft. Provides adequate forgiveness on those not-so-good swing days, doesn't hook the ball like the regular Hawkeye Ti, and can be sent a little left or right if needed. Doesn't hit too high. Shaft responds well to swinging a little extra hard. I only gained a little distance, but for the accuracy with that distance, I'll keep it! A new one is pretty pricey, so I picked up a slightly used one - and I'm glad!

This is the driver to get. The grip is flawless. I have the extra stiff shaft because my swing is about 200mph. My friend has the Titleist 975D because that's what Tiger hits. But Tiger doesn't have my power...enough said.

Best driver that I have hit to date. This is the only club that I would chose over my old original Taylor Made Titanium club from years ago. Its clean setup inspires confidence and the Pro Series graphite shaft is as good as it gets. I've tried Taylor Made Firesole, Titleist 975D, Ping ISI, Slazenger, and others. Nothing else comes close.

Previously used the Big Berha Hawkeye with which I very satisfied. However, the VFT Hawkeye is even better it has given me more distance and is more forgiving with those shots not hit out of the centre of the club

Save money and have more fun with a hawkeye driver. Had a hawkeye driver before and traded for a titleist. Big waste of money. Hard for me to hit and shortall the time. Traded again for a Hawkeye 9.5 proseries and I am havin a blast being long and most of the time in the fairway. Callaway woods are the best for my game.

I had no confidence in my driver. I wanted something that inspired me. The Hawkeye does the job. The slice is gone. My drives are long and straight. Thanks Ely!
